Total Care Housekeeping Services

Management is very responsive. On one occasion over the past two or three years I was unsatisfied enough with the services that I let them know, and they sent someone out within two days to provide a free deep cleaning to make up for the issue. The ladies they've sent out have always been friendly and polite. However, some definitely do a more thorough job than others. For instance, sometimes a dirty spot or scuff mark might remain on the floor through several moppings, yet I can take a magic eraser sponge and remove it in less than five seconds. Lack of attention to detail like that can be bothersome at times but I'm not one to call and complain about every little thing, so I typically let it go. Because of little things like that, I considered giving them a "B" rating. However, they have done a better job and are more reliable than any other cleaning service I've used (and I've used many), so by comparison I felt they deserved an "A" rating-- they're not perfect, but better than most, I'd say. Overall, they are a very professional outfit and I will continue to use them for the foreseeable future.

NO Results No return calls, paid for service but never preformed. Going to Credit Card company to report fraud.

Was here and performed her duties in a timely manner and was very courteous.

She seemed very willing to please. Needed 2 people for a house of this size. Mopping was not satisfactory. Things were moved and not put back.

I've used total care for several years. Millisa has come to my house for about a year. She is prompt, efficient and pleasant.

It went great. I have never had a cleaning service before and I was very pleased.

Everything was seamless, from purchase of a big-deal with "Total Care" through the last swipe of the mop. I indicated that e-mail is my preferred form of communication, and Angela, who runs Total Care OKC for Carmen Miller, contacted me almost immediately. We set up everything via e-mail, and Angela offered service within the very next few days (i.e., no long wait at all). The cleaner assigned to our home, Valerie, was wonderful. She arrived on time, worked really hard for even longer than the six hours that was part of the "big deal" we had paid for, and left our house sparkling. As someone who cleaned houses to help put myself through graduate school, and who has since hired both individuals and companies to take care of our home, I can say from experience that Valerie is top-notch. I particularly liked how open she was to the things that matter the most to me; that she was quickly referring to each of our family members by name, and that she emphasized that she wanted to know if there were things she could do better. Honestly, not that I can see, having had a day to enjoy the fruits of Valerie's labor! Every individual is different, but if Valerie and Angela are indicative of the overall quality of Total Care Housekeeping, then I can't imagine now working with anyone else. I've now arranged to have Valerie come bi-weekly to help keep things looking good!

FANTASTIC. Totally worth the money spent. I purchased a "big deal" for 6 hours of total house cleaning. When I called to make the appointment, they were very friendly and informative about what to expect and how to get the most of out the 6 hours (picking up as much clutter as possible, making rooms / areas that need thorough cleaning very accessible, etc.). They also were sure to explain that even though the deal was for "6 hours of total house cleaning" - that depending on the size of my house, number of rooms needing cleaned, condition of the rooms, etc - that they may not be able to actually get to the entire house. I had already assumed that, but it was good for them to make sure of that. Stephanie arrived a little later than the scheduled time - but we discovered that her paperwork had our house number listed with 2 numbers transposed, so her GPS was telling her to go somewhere that didn't exist. I might would have preferred a phone call a little sooner, but I really wasn't bothered by it once we realized the mistake and the 6 hour timer didn't start until she arrived anyway, so it wasn't a big deal to me. My house is approx. 2500 sq feet, 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, office, and 2 dining areas. Stephanie was able to top-to-bottom clean and scrub all 3 bathrooms, the kitchen, breakfast area, the master bedroom and the long hallways in the 6 hours with some light cleaning in the other rooms as well. She worked non-stop for the 6 hours without taking a break (I was home the whole time). We have a HUGE walk-in tiled shower and I've never seen it sparkle like it did after she worked her magic. Overall, even though the 6 hours wasn't quite enough time to cover my whole house, it was definitely worth the money and I plan on hiring them again. My neighbor was so impressed that she scheduled the same service a few weeks later!

Work was done completely and well. My only complaint was that I wasn't given a complete choice of time of day.

Young women did a very nice job and was also pleasant while working. Kitchen and bathrooms were cleaned very well. She even dusted my wood blinds in the master bedroom.

It was all right. They could've paid more attention to the details. They sent out 2 cleaners. Originally, one worker had to leave, so I called the owner; she was accomodating and gave me a free hour later on.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! I hired total care housekeeping to do a deep clean of a rental house. At first Carmen, the owner2c was responsive and had someone to the house the next day. She told me it would be 150 to clean the whole house. I met the cleaners at the house and they immediately told me that they have to be somewhere else and they could only work for two hours that day. I called Carmen back and rescheduled for the following day. She tried to say she needed another $90 to clean the house but I kindly informed her of the deal she made with me. They showed up the following day and again only worked for an hour if that. The house was still dirty and the kitchen floors were filthy. I called Carmen AGAIN and asked her to complete the job. She promised to show up the next day and that "I would be very satisfied with the quality of her work". Surprisingly she did not show up to finish, I tried calling her back several times but she never picked up and never called back. Shame on me for paying her up front. Basically a fraud.

It was excellent. They did a very thorough cleaning. They vacuumed, dusted, and cleaned the bathrooms. They come out every other week now to do the housecleaning. They sent one person out to do the job. The cleaners are excellent and Devin was absolutely great. The scheduling was easy.

It turned out fine. They did a good service. I was gone at the time, but it looks like they did a good job.

I started using their cleaning services around October of 2013. The first cleaning went well, but went downhill from there. After the third visit, I contact them and told them I really wasn't satisfied with the later cleanings. I sent them a list of my specific needs and they said they would have the manager come out and inspect after the next cleaning. That one went well, but the time after it was probably the worst. I cancelled my service then.

I had a housekeeper on permanent staff at my home for over 10 years and I know how to do the job I require and I make it very well known what I look for and desire in my housekeeper. I wanted my own cleaning supplies used. Although she verbally said "ok" I caught her several times using her own equipment. That was not acceptable. She did a punctual type job and did the basics but she did miss many things that should not have been missed. The most egregious problem is that Total Care charges $30.00 with a 3 hour minimum. That kind of charge is, for Oklahoma City, and for the type of workers that are here, is out of the question unless they are superior in every way. I find it to be laughable to charge this much when providing mediocre service. Now, I knew going into the contract that this was the agreed-upon price, but I was expecting a much more superior clean which I did not get. I'm sorry to say, My experience was sadly lacking in expertise, depth, and quality. I could not, in any way, refer any of my friends to Total Care.

The services provided by Total Care Housekeeping Services were unsatisfactory. The woman who came to our house did not seem proficient at her job, nor was she terribly interested in doing it. It has been so long since we used them and their service.

They did a great job! They did everything I needed done and the house looked amazing! A little pricy but fair.

They cleaned, but they were tardy in arrival, and they moved very slowly in their tasks.

They cleaned the big portions of our house, including blinds and baseboards. They ran out of time before they were able to completely finish the house, but we were pleased with the portion they were able to get to.

It was fine. I didn't have any issues with it. The service was good. They cleaned the requested areas.

I am not impressed with this company at all! Although the first person that came was very nice, the first visit was for 3 1/2 hours at a charge of $105.00 and in that time the one person that Carmen sent, "partially" cleaned (i.e., furniture was not moved, closet floors not cleaned, under beds not cleaned, top of armoir not dusted) two bedrooms and two very small bathrooms. The second time she sent one person for 3 hours at $90.00 where this person spent the entire time working in a small living room and the hallway. I called the owner to complain that the job is moving too slow and that the closet floors were still not done on the first visit and none of the space under any of the beds were not swept/cleaned. I even offered for the owner to come look at my house and see how ridiculously small it is and how I felt that the six and a half hours that have been used for so called "cleaning" were not well spent. The owner promised me on the next visit that she would send two people for three hours to finish the kitchen and the den as well as clean the closet floors and under the beds for another $90.00. Not only did the two people not clean under the beds or clean the closet floors, they did a hit and miss job in the den.The floors in the corners literally had no signs of a broom or a mop. I called Carmen and left her a message regarding this issue but to this date, she has never called me back. My house is 1700 sq ft and it took this company 3 different visits at 9 1/2 hours at $30.00 an hour to "clean" this house and it is STILL not done! I am not impressed with the customer service or quality of work and the price is way off for what you get!
