Timeless Hardwood Floors

He wouldn’t even come out for an estimate. I mentioned I had called other places with different staining processes and I was interested to know if he recommended poly or water for my floors and he became incredibly defensive and accused me of “shopping him out” when I was just trying to do my due diligence and choose the best man for the job. I explained we were moving in and trying accomplish this quickly and I had a date and time in mind but he said he wouldn’t be told how, when and where to show up. I kept trying to explain that we only have hardwood in our home, with little tile and no carpet which is why researching was so important but he only became more agitated. He then told me he was too busy and if the other guys fell out then maybe he would take a look. I said I didn’t understand why he was so upset, that I worked in the industry and I was used to similar questions and then he asked me where I worked because he probably knew who I worked for and I immediately became uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend him unless you’ve had a direct referral. The other companies I’ve spoken to have been really nice guys with great customer service. This was obviously a misunderstanding but he didn’t seem to care.

Beautiful! Floors were natural to begin with but had a lot of big, dark stains. We stained them dark...a color recommended to me. A good majority of the stains blend so well now it is wonderful. Best money I ever spent.

I recently had Timeless Floors come out and do a water repair on a nailed down wood floor. As noted in a previous review it did not go well for a variety of reasons and Timeless received a pretty low grade. I sent Brent a picture of some "bubbles" that had formed. I had no real intention of using Timeless again and made no demands or even a request for them to return and fix the problem. Brent very easily could have written me off as a bad experience, maybe given an apology, and then moved on to the next job. He had nothing to really gain by taking the time and incurring the cost of returning and re-doing the floor. I did not request him to do so. The review was already out there. Yet he requested permission to come out and redo the floor. He did it because "he never gets call backs" and this has been eating away at him. It was a job that was less than his apparently high standards and that did not sit well with him. Always willing to let someone make a correction so I agreed to let him give it a try. He spent today sanding the floor down to bare wood, re-staining, and putting on the first poly coat. He didn't do a "fix"--he redid the job. Will be back in a few days to put on the final coat. Work's not done, but I somehow feel pretty sure he won't leave until he hits perfection. I feel the best way to judge a company is not when things go right, but what happens when things go wrong. And every company has things go wrong at some point. Brent is a businessman, but also a craftsman. As a craftsman, he has a high standard is isn't satisfied until the job meets his standards. He is also willing to come back and make things right if things go wrong. Which is a pretty important factor when choosing a floor guy.

Floor look great and Brett worked pretty h****** them. Price per square foot cant be beat.

I have not had the work done yet, but I know Bret the owner of Timeless Hardwood Floors and I know him to have a good work ethic, is knowledgable, professional, desires to do good work and provide his customers with satisfaction and high quality work. I would recommend him to anyone
