Thunder Moving

the two guys they sent to load our house....they literally stacked the items in the POD with NO regard to protect the furniture. I paid extra to get packing blankets and straps...which they didn't even use. I asked that they wrap the furniture to protect it....that didn't happen either. When our PODs were delivered and they opened the doors, I wanted to cry....seeing all of my nice furniture just thrown in that POD! FIND another moving company...not this one!

The movers said the truck was full..the truck was at most 2/3 full but packed low to where things now can't be added to stack. The movers said the home was empty and that they got everything packed when they rushed us to sign a finished receipt. However, by the time we were able to walk downstairs as they said they were moving the final pieces, all movers had then without doing a walk through with us, and the downstairs of the home is still full of furniture. The movers were also hours late having driven initially to the wrong city despite being given our correct address in writing. While present at the move, the movers continued to talk about how they were going to get different individuals from their company fired because they should not have to work in the manner to which they are asked. The movers broke items in the home. Unfortunately, not only was (1) the truck not full but packed without additional stacking space, (2) a large amount of the furniture and belongings were still left in the home, (3) there were also items left all around the Uhaul truck including additional heavy items that were just left about and never even told to us. Moving is never fun, so I post this only because I would never want someone to go through this situation. I even missed my husband's graduation due to the significant late arrival and departure of the movers only to find that I missed it to then have to figure out how to start all over again to now get the other 1/3-1/2 of belongings packed and moved as well as what to do with now a large poorly packed truck. I will link a video. I would never recommend this to anyone.

Very impressed from the first call right through to completion. my options were clearlit explained and the cost was very reasonable compared to others I called. 3 young men showed up on time and started immediately. They were very careful with each item, wrapping and securing them individually inside the truck. I figured on 3 to four hours to load, drive 4 miles and unload and they were done right at 2 hours and ten minutes. Not a scratch or mare to the trim. Highly recommended over your reluctant friends And very affordable.
