We called for a main water line repair in sept 2012. worked for about 6 weeks. Had to come back and replace entire line. Said they would be here on Monday @ 0900, showed up at 1205. Left again @ 1400. Returned @ 1530, gone again by 1700. Wife and I made arrangements for home coverage while work was to be completed. Guaranteed to be complete that day....was not. Had to make other arrangements to provide home access the next day. They showed up at 1100 and mostly completed the work. The tore up our front yard without back-filling or compacting the trench. Had to call Greg, the owner several times to get work complete. I also had to stop payment on a large portion of their funds to get my work complete to my satisfaction.

I was very pleased with Blake who did the majority of the work but it was the time it took and the planning of the whole project that I was not happy with. The initial guy who came out and took the pics of the work to be done didn't take the right pics needed to let the actual plumber know how to repair the line. This was a two person job and only one was sent out and it took 3-4 days to complete the whole job. There was another guy who came, Travis was his name I believe but he was not much help. He just wanted to try and boss Blake around and smoke cigs the whole time. This guy even had the nerve to just throw them in my yard, very unprofessional I would say. The planning of the project was not very well thought out, they ended up busting up most of my porch which was not necessary if they had the right tools to begin with. They should have located the copper line coming out of the house in the first place instead of chasing the old line. So now I have a angled cut in my porch when it could have been one straight cut. This job could and should have been completed in two days at the most but Blake kept getting called to do other jobs, this happened several times. I don't blame Blake because he was just doing what he was told to do, I blame his boss for this. Like I said before, Blake is great and if I knew he would come out to do the work then I would surely you them again but otherwise forget it. I did get a 10% discount but I still feel that because I have a home warranty that the price was inflated, I could be wrong but that's what my gut tells me.

Blake came yesterday to check out the issues noted in a home inspection. Blake returned today and in a timely and professional manner fixed all needed repairs! As we are due to close on this property Jan 31st, it was imperative that the items the home inspector wanted corrected be taken care of quickly. Stone Creek Plumbing will provide you top notch service and at a fair and reasonable price. We highly recommend them and encourage you to call them regarding your plumbing issues. They are up-front and honest. We wish them continued success and know without a doubt you couldn't hire a better company for your plumbing needs.

I contacted them with the bill from the other plumber who repaired the line they messed up and asked for reimbursement of the $500 Stone Creek Plumbing had originally told me I would have to pay them for the repair of the line. They refused to pay me back and threatened to sue. They also told me to sue the other plumbing company which turned out to be owned by the brother of the person who owns Stone Creek. Pretty incredible.
Description of Work: Stone Creek Plumbers were to move the refrigerator and the stove in my kitchen. In doing so they cut the gas line to the water heater on the other side of the wall from the stove. They came out twice to repair the gas line and after they left I had to call the gas company later in the day because I smelled gas in the house. Each time the gas company told me that the gas line was not to code and would not relight my water heater. Finally, Stone Creek Plumbing told me over the phone that I would have to pay $500 for them to repair the gas line. I called another plumber and they told me that Stone Creek had "screwed me over".
