Steve Tabor Construction

Steve and his crew were at my house the same day that we came to an agreement. The addition would be 12' x 27', and way tied into existing patio as well as the foundation on the house. All the dirt work, drilling, sand with compacting, and rebar was placed on the first day, and cement arrived the following morning. The finished patio was scored the following day. While it will take done time for the new and old concrete to match, we couldn't be happier with our new (huge) patio.

I called them and spoke to Mr. Tabor. I had a nice conversation with the guy and made an appointment for the next Saturday. At a little after 6pm on Saturday, I called because I had not heard from them. He stated he had forgotten about our appointment and had a 25 yr anniversary they had to attend. He never called and told me he couldn't come out. He decided to come out after our phone call. I had forgotten that our gates would be locked. I called him back and left a message letting him know about the gates. Our gates are locked after 5pm, there is a phone connected to the gate that allows me to let people in. After 20-25 minutes I got ahold of him and told him he just needed to key in my name to get in the gate. He told me to just forget about it. I would not use him again because of his attitude. I would have appreciated him being courteous and calling me to let me know he was not coming.

Arrived to work and had difficulty finding outlet for power tools. Decided to leave without calling or asking for assistance with finding power outlet.

Overall, from start to finish we were very please.

Could not even get them to respond to my request for an estimate.

We recommend Tabor Construction. They were nice, courteous, and very helpful to us when making decisions about the concrete. They came out and gave us an estimate then set up molds and poured the concrete. The estimate was close to the final cost.
