They are very courteous and on time. They run really good specials and I have used them several times now. I would highly recommend them as well.

It was excellent. They did a really good job. I called them and they were there the same day. Price was reasonable.

I had them clean before I sold my house. I had the whole place done.

Scheduled for Wed at 12 to 4. Called at 1PM to give additional phone number. Was told they would be there without calling. After 4 when no one had showed up and no call, I called and was told that had an office problem and asked to reschedule and would do a discount for not showing up. Rescheduled for Friday for which they showed up almost 2 hours late then. Told me they didn't care what I was told they wouldn't do anything additional for not showing up. I told them I thought I would find a Company I could Trust.

There were 2 people to complete the service. It took them about an hour. They were very friendly, they offered other services at a discount, and they explained everything very well. They left with my carpets extremely clean. They were efficient and they moved the furniture that they needed to move without help or anything like that.

It seemed to be pretty clean, but the carpets are old.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my next-door neighbor who hired Stanley Steemer to clean her tile floors and grout. They arrived late (8:45 p.m.), so maybe they were in a hurry to finish--maybe they turned up the psi too high on their equipment in order to do the job quickly--but there is no excuse for what they did to her floors! The home is only 7 years old and the grout was in good condition. After Stanley Steemer "cleaned" it, the grout was chipped, pitted, or entirely missing! My neighbor called their office the next morning to let them know what had happened. Three days later, a man named Mike Garrett came out to inspect the damage. He took no responsibility for destroying her grout and said it must have been "old." His solution was to up-sell her into paying them an additional $500 to stain and seal the grout. Wow. And no, thank-you. My neighbor is 9 months pregnant. Re-grouting her floors is pretty much the last thing she needs to be worrying about right now...

They became too costly and they got lax in their cleaning. They were not thorough with their cleaning.

The 2 guys who came were on time and very professional. They moved our furniture and put it on blocks after they had cleaned the carpet, so it would dry properly. They cleaned all the carpet in our living room and hallways. We have a cat, and they were able to get a lot of cat hair out of our carpet. They did a good job.

Did not go well. After they supposedly cleaned my carpets, I ran a vacuum over the area and got out huge amounts of dirt, hair, pet hair, and just overall dirt. The truck broke down 2 times while they were here and asked the technician if that was affecting the suction power and he said no. Well, not so. My carpet was NOT clean. So, I called them back to redo and am still waiting. They were suppose to be here between 2-6 pm. Not here yet and it is 6:30 pm. Can't wait forever for them to make good. All I can say is if you do use these services, pay with your credit card so that you can dispute the charge if the carpets are not cleaned as promised. As an update: SS did finally make it back to my house to redo my carpets. The technicians that came out the second time were much more thorough and professional than the first two that came. So as a result, my carpet is much cleaner and I feel that they deserve a better overall rating of C rather than a "D".

They're dependable especially the technicians that came out. I have a very short entry hall and I have a long narrow runner on that and I asked them to clean that and they were going to charge me for a whole rim. They will work well with you. If I want someone to clean my carpet, I like them and I will keep their name and use them again at a time.

They are very professional and fast. They are clean and thoughtful. I am happy with the price. They clean up after themselves and very organized. I would use them again.

They do an excellent job. They are prompt and they follow-up after service has been completed. They are usually very thorough and courteous to work with.

I love them for the carpet cleaning but I would not use them again for the duct cleaning. After the work, I noticed on Angie's List that 2 other people had trouble with them. I would not recommend them. I paid $600 for duct cleaning. We have 10-12 air vents in the downstairs area and then upstairs, it's 10 air vents. What they do is they pretty much block off all the air ducts and then they send this thing through the duct work from the furnace up and out. They've got a pretty strong vacuum and it's supposed to suck all the duct back out. At the end of it, it's got these bristles that go around and it's supposed to suck it out. Our experience was that they did this and the next morning, I have all these grit in my bed and in my bathroom. There was grit and dust on the upstairs ceiling, on the air ducts and underneath each of the ceiling air duct. Downstairs, it comes up out of the floor. There was some but not as much. So I called them and asked them if I supposed to have dust and grit coming out of my air ducts and he said no. He called me back 5 hours later and said he can't get a crew out today but he can send a crew out tomorrow. They came out and they redid it. They changed the filter on their vacuum so that it was clean and draw more. That went better. I think I still had a little bit after that for a couple of days, but not much. It was not a good experience. We had it done because my husband has terrible allergies and that's what happened. Before we had that done, I had ordered some really good air filters that we got running in the house. So their air duct cleaning is not a good service although I like their carpet cleaning, it's great. The price was okay, they were in line with the other main company that only does air ducts. I chose this company because I have used them for the carpeting.

They had a special on cleaning and we paid around $200. They came out to clean our carpets and they did a good job. They cleaned rooms under the special. We had to pay extra because we had 4 rooms. There were a few stains on the carpet and they cleaned it out pretty good. It looked good. It was dry when they said it would be. I was surprised that it didn't take them very long to do the job. They might have been here for a little over an hour. Their equipment actually stayed on the truck. They have hoses that extend to the house and they vacuumed it out with a very powerful setup. They cleaned up after themselves. They inject the steam and cleaning solution into the carpet. That's the first time that I used them. They know what they're doing. They're very professional. The carpet still looks pretty good.

They were on time and very competent.

It went well. The carpets look good. They have even been able to get black shoe polish stains out. Over time, the red dye 40 stains have disappeared as well. We have used them several times before.) In the bedrooms they don't move the beds or the heavier furniture, but that was okay with me, since we don't rearrange the furniture often at all. If you are in the habit of rearranging your rooms often, you may want to talk to them about it.

On as scale of one to ten I give them a 1. First they messed up the appointment date. Then they sent out the wrong people (could not perform the job at hand), and had to reschedule. Then, when they finally came out to perform the work, one worker was barely incompetent. The other didn't spend as much time cleaning my carpets as a bored teenager would spend vacuuming them! They removed NO stains, no dirt, and blamed their shoddy performance on old carpet. I have my own Bissell and can do twice the job they did, and the carpets actually look clean when I am done. Do NOT call them! The hall stretch was just okay, and at one end they cut the carpet and spent an hour taking little pieces of it and sewing it together. Now when we walk there edges come up. What a joke.

Johnny Jones and Harold Phillips did a great job. They were thorough, professional and had a no nonsense approach to doing their work. Johnny who was the crew leader was especially knowledgeable. He took the time to explain how they were going to accomplish the work we hired them to do. Even during the work process he took the time to show us what they were doing. I recommend Stanley Steemer especially if your request and get Johnny and Harold.

Stanley Steemer messed up our floors and couldn't fix it. We had to get it completely redone and Stanley Steemer paid for that. They did do good in the fact that they paid for it.

They did an OK job. I do not remember the amount I paid. My overall experience is good and I will use them again in the future.

In the master bedroom, they did not get the carpet as clean as I would have liked it. They did not get the stain out. The last time the two guys they sent were up to my standards that's what I felt. They were the only carpet cleaners we have used since lived here 17 years. Usually they do an excellent job and quite often I had the same two guys doing the carpets. These were just two different ones and they did seem to have the get up and go initiative.

They are very professional and clean up any mess that's on the floor. They are very quick and are efficient in their work.

I've always had good luck with them. I generally pay between $300-$400 depending on what I am having done. They are on time and they confirm their appointments. They are generally very nice and courteous. I haven't ever had any problems with them. Their prices are about average. I have them coming again in about a month.
