Description of Work: Estimate for siding replacement. He told me he'd have to take special care removing the siding because of the possibility of asbestos (increasing the cost). None of the other companies had mentioned that. However, I believe he was making that estimate based on the age of the house, mid-1940's, not the age of the siding.

Description of Work: They did a great job. A lot of the underlying wood needed to be replaced, which they did. The installers were professional and knew their product. We are very pleased with the job they did and would recommend them.

+ -1 moreI had a leak problem in the joint between the roof and the upstairs. I decided to side the house in hopes that would fix the problem. The Sooner State salesman recommended I get the roofer who roofed the house to come and figure out what the problem was before they sided it. I ended up pulling some of the old siding off and found the problem had very little to do with the roofing. It ended up being poor quality construction when the house was built. After we repaired the problem, I called the salesman back and the estimate seemed more than fair to side the whole upstairs. The only problem was we were suppose to get a scheduling call from someone, but that never happened. It really wasn't a big deal. About a week after signing the contract the installers called and said they were just around the corner and would be here in a few minutes. Once they arrived everything went smoothly and when they left the house looked great and the yard was clean. When I decide to do the wood under the eaves I will call them again.
Description of Work: The company installed siding over all of the old siding on the house.
