Remodel of 2 bathrooms took over 6 months. They became unresponsive and didn't do well with details and communication. They started to not listen to us and may things had to be redone because they did not listen to us and what we requested.

After the roof job was done, there were uneven edges. They said it was a problem that the siding guys would fix. First siding subcontractor wouldn't get his liability license so he couldn't do the job. Second sub was a 70 year old and his son. The job they referred me to evaluate they're work was done at least 10 years ago and didn't look impressive at all. Third sub didn't even call me back to schedule their estimate. To make matters worse, Sine Construction wanted to argue with my insurance adjuster about the money that they knew how to manipulate to get from them. Several consumers in this area had poor dealings with Sine after the 2013 tornado in this area.
Description of Work: Was supposed to do roof and siding job.

It's a local company. They did fine. It was a reasonable price.
Description of Work: They did do an appraisal for the kitchen. The estimate was on redoing our entire kitchen.

Description of Work: We did a total home remodel. His crews were very well qualified and completed some very difficult tasks in a timely fashion with quality results. His work leader was spread a little thin otherwise he also did a great job. Get your budget nailed down before you start and you will be pleased with the quality and timeliness of his work |

The Good: Roof damage on our "sun room" caused by an intense hail storm led to a flood. To clean it up we had Sine haul away the many layers of carpet and pad. They then put down ceramic tile. To resolve the water damage on the wood work in a few places we opted to clean up and replace some wood panels. In the process we found old original siding on the house that we then had Sine clean up and match up to some new similar siding panels. Finally the entire room was repainted. I feel like the results are great and what was once a grungy room that I rarely showed to people is now a great room and a highlight of my home. The Not So Good: While I think their prices are a bit high, their work is fairly high quality provided you can get them for the right job. What I never got used to though was the general lack of communication. On several occasions a sub-contractor just showed up at our home on a Monday morning and announced that he was doing work on our house.. Obviously without some prior notice it was a real hassle to get junk out of the room to worked on. Overall my poor opinion of Sine has a lot to do with their lack of communication with me on the project.
Description of Work: Replaced carpet with title, painted all woodwork and replaced some old boards on a wall with similar boards. All work was done in response to a flood.

It was a struggle overall to get them to show up. I was late to work several times because of waiting for people to show up or not feeling comfortable leaving a stranger in the house with out supervision from the contracter. The whole experience was long drawn out and unpleasant. The initial quote was a little over 14,000 and the finished product was around $18,000. We also got to clean up the mess that was left in the bathroom and garage. Pieces of grouting in the yard and what looked like cement but was probably more grout. Thankfully it was fall into winter so no damage to mower. They definately did not clean up after themselves. The bathroom looks very nice except for the vanity which will need to be repainted and some caulking that needs to be done touch ups here and there. Overall I felt taken advantage of and disrespected. However I have to say the electrical and plumbing subs were great this is about the contractor.
Description of Work: Remodeled master bath. Estimated 2-3 wks. Took about 4 months. The foreman was good to work with seemed sincere and wanted to do a good job. It's possible he was spread to thin with other jobs. Was not at the house to supervise sub contractors and lots of problems resulted. Tile had to be taken down and redone. Painters came back several times to correct thier job. It was mentioned to us that these painters were not "thier regulars." The first painter that was sent out was describing what he wanted to do which I thought sounded really cool but the foreman stated that painter was to high on his bid.

They estimated 8-12 weeks to complete, the actual was over 6 months. The dollar estimate was 17k, the actual was 26k. They said that the house would be completely clean when they left, that is not true. I have had major cleaning issues and am going to have to replace carpeting in the master bedroom due to cement that was left on the carpet when they redid the bathroom floor. Even the garage where they worked through the winter is going to have to be scrubbed down. They did not clean up after themselves.
Description of Work: Remodeled 2 bathrooms. In the master bath, the room was gutted and rebuilt. In the guest room, only the vanity and counters were replaced.

Sine Construction & Appraisal was absolutely wonderful. They came out and gave us an estimate first, which was accurate. They did very neat work and did it without messing anything else up. They got it done very quickly and completed it in the time they estimated.
Description of Work: Sine Construction & Appraisal had to replace a bathroom floor. They had to rip out the wooden floor as under the toilet it had rotted out. They had to put boards across to hold up the tub and put in a sub flooring.
