Company located on Metro Plaza Blvd, Edmond OK. Called for an Estimate for repairs. They do not repair, they clean up damage so that repairs can be made. The estimator referred me to a contractor. I received an invoice for (among other charges) $192.83 for emergency service and 2.5 hours labor. I’ve disputed these charges and (less than two weeks since they were at my home) they are threatening to turn my account over to a collection agency.

Quite frankly it was a disaster. They did show up on time and packed out the items in the house. The house was damaged by the tornado but the walls were still up so most of the damage was due to rain/mud/debris that came in through the shattered windows across the back of the house. I was quoted $3200 for the packout which included return of the materials to either a new house or storageas well as a "field cleaning"(their description) of all materials. We had prepped the house to sell prior to the move and had moved out nearly half of the normal items found in a house we had occupied for 8 years. Our insurance company based on local expenses estimated the cost to packout and clean the materials at $2800 but were willing to meet the quoted price by SPI so we moved forward. SPI packed and moved out our belongings. During the process I found quite a few of our items, which were in good condition, thrown into a pile of trash that was in the garage. I rescued those assuming it was an oversight. I received a bill for $9200 after the $3200 estimate. After working with our insurance company and settling in on an amount of $3600 my items were returned. To date SPI heavily damaged a $2500 refrigerator, "lost" a laptop computer, "lost" a high end 35mm camera, "lost" over half the tools in my roll-aways (I had a very extensive collection of tools), they "lost" my sons twin lofted bed along with the matching bookcase and chest of drawers that came with it. They lost an industrial storage rack we had in the garage as well. Finally they took all of our clothes, linens, etc to a dry cleaning company and when they decided the $3600 wasnt enough to clean the materials they had moved they left all 12 garbage bags at the dry cleaners. After sitting dirty with mud, insulation, wood chips, etc for 6 months the only reason I found out where they were was that the dry cleaning company they were to have used was closing the location where SPI had left our materials. All of our goods were due to be thrown away but due to the diligence of the cleaning company they managed to run down the fact the clothes/linens/etc belonged to us and called us directly. Despite being paid to return all the materials they had packed out SPI declined to bring us our materials. Due to the nature of the tornado and extensive damage I was possibly too patient with SPI. I tried repeatedly (nearly 40 calls in 2 months once a problem was identified) to get the manager there, Orlando, to return my call I never once received a phone call. I was able to finally get in contact with Orlando after repeated trips to their office. He said he would come out to view the damage at the current storage facility which he did after several delays. When he got there he suggested we wait until our new house was completed and we had moved all the materials to our new house to better be able to spread them out and determine the extent of the damage. As to the quality of the move and packing I was once again amazed at how badly it was done. While my wifes nail polish was carefully wrapped our dishes and glasses were piled into boxes with no packaging (quite a bit of breakage from what I have seen so far). Household/yard chemical bottles were dumped upside down in boxes without checking the lids were closed. Pesticides, laundry detergent, motor oil, etc leaked out of the bottles, many times destroying/making useless the boxes below the poorly packaged liquid goods. To date the only thing I have to show in terms of SPI dealing with the situation is often broken promises of "doing something" along with the necessity of tracking down someone capable of even giving me an idea of what can be done. For the first time in my life I feel the only real resolution will be hiring a lawyer which I frankly find distasteful. But to date the damage done by SPI has outstripped the damage done to our belongings by an F5 tornado. Sounds silly but its true. I can only hope to warn possible future customers of SPI. While they do have some good and kind people their problem resolution, especially if its a problem created by SPI, has been nothing more than delays and denials. I will update this once a final resolution has been reached. Finally let me say they do have some good people working for SPI but in the whole as a company my experience wit h them has been completely disappointing.

It was good. They cleaned it right. The people who did the work were good. They were on time. The price was a little high.

They came and gave me a quote, came out 2 days later to clean the carpets and then called to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction.

They did exactly what I asked. I asked them to go back over the carpet and they had no problem doing what I asked.

They were pretty good, but not as good as I would’ve liked. They were reasonably priced. There were a couple of places that they didn’t clean as well as I would have liked. I would consider using them again, but supervise them a little bit more carefully.

They were excellent, personable, and professional. They responded quickly when I needed them.

The technician showed up on time. He used corner protectors to protect my walls and area carpets to protect my other flooring. I had expected the carpet to come clean with a few wear points, but the technician worked until the entire carpet was clean, spot free, and the pile looking new. He moved the furniture and then put the legs on foam blocks so as not to get the cleaning solution on the furniture while it dried. The final step was to deodorize. I wasn't thrilled about the powerful citrus orange scent, but it was better than stale dog. The citrus smell was completely gone in 2 days.
