It took Rigid a week to come out to do an inspection of the roof because of all the more severe damage that was done in my area, Then took a month replacing the skylights because they were busy & the skylights were on back order. At the time of replacement i was told that the price quoted me was raised by $100...hmmm.

Everyone at Ridgid was very helpful from selecting materials to working with insurance. The communication was consistent and scheduling around busy schedules was no problem. The quality of the work was exceptional. I will definately call them for any future roofing needs.

It went great. They treated us very well. They were there when our adjuster came out and negotiated on our behalf for the house. This is a great situation because their interests line up with yours after a storm. I highly recommend them.

Rigid Construction is one of the best contractors I have ever dealt with on any home repair and Brian Guntharp should be their MVP. Brian was knowledgeable and professional in all aspects of all repairs. The second new roof repalcement was completed in one day and had no leaks or callbacks nor did the first roof they put on. Never hesitate to contact Rigid Construction for any type of home repair. They will provide emergency tarp/loss prevention, interior repair or structural repairs. An all-around one-stop-shopping for your repair needs.

After the May 29, 2012 hailstorm, I contacted my insurance company to get the adjuster's assessment. The final estimate he gave me was not exactly satisfactory, but I had never had to file a claim on a home before so I assumed that it was what it was. After checking Angie's List and the BBB, I decided Ridgid Construction was my best bet for a quality, timely and hassle free experience. I wasn't wrong. And they offered a $500 coupon! Melanie spent countless hours with me explaining the contract and work to be done, running back and forth bringing samples, helping me choose the best color for the new shingles (the old ones just didn't do the house justice), patiently waiting while I chose the new color for the gutters and downspouts to coordinate with the new roof and existing brick, and about a gazillion other things that I wanted to discuss and get clarification on. Every time I asked her to stop by for any reason, she was there almost immediately. Melanie also met with a different adjuster from my insurance company after the roof, gutters and downspouts were replaced and was able to get a higher insurance payment for all the materials and work that the original adjuster had not included. The crews Ridgid used were very professional, thorough and conscientious. If I found any problem, big or small, it was corrected immediately. The crews cleaned up when they were finished with each job, and my house has never looked better! I definitely recommend Ridgid Construction and will use them again when the need arises.

After being dissatisfied with another contractor's response to the hailstorm damage to our residential property, we turned to RIDGID CONSTRUCTION and were quickly impressed by their professional service. RIDGID's Project Manager, Mr. Robert Bartusevicius, proved to be what we needed in terms of thoroughness of his inspection of the damage, his attention to our questions and concerns, and his determination to make sure that all the damage was repaired correctly and in a timely fashion. When RIDGID's restoration was completed, our property was actually improved in construction and appearance from what it had been before the hailstorm. We are happy to recommend RIDGID CONSTRUCTION without reservation. Steven J. Paulson On May 29, 2012 a damaging hail storm hit our house. Much damage could be seen throughout our neigborhood and in a widespread area our close by neighborhoods. My husband called our insurance copy in next morning . They sent out a roofer the next day for inspection and he patched open areas and said he only does roofs, and I said, "But what about the gutters, the 2 dented and discolored garage doors, the circular garage vent laying in the driveway, the torn up double window, the beaten up tool shed , and the white polka-dotted fence-what about a home inspection for damage?" I was dissatified, I was upset, I was mad, I was crying! I called our insurance to find help. To find that my claims representative that had assigned us the day before was off for 2 weeks,soooo after recalling our insurance, they told me that I could pick out my own inspector and workers, that they had over 4,000 calls that day for our area and all of their inspectors were busy. I said, we were one of the first to call-they would send out a home inspector -ok, she came within 2 days-good, but all she did inspect the house and estimate damages. Again, I was told by her and my insurance that I could call a contractor. I've had major adbominal surgery, GI problems,retired, and medically exhausted. I got on line (which is most irritating), checked Better Business Bureau, licensed contractors in my area of Oklahoma, the numerous post-cards and info that the damaged areas were recieveing, the yellow pages and reviews. I decided to call RIGID Construction, a locally owned business with an excellent reputation. Robert Bartusevicius quickly returned our call and visited on June 22, 2012. He listened to my upsetting story, he did his thorough inspection and estimate. We had a new roof and new vents by the 29th. Through heat up to 108 degrees we soon had New gutters, new 2 insulated garage doors and handmade ( because of it size) circular vent, sealed and painted (including garage doors' trim and vent), new tool shed, window damage replaced AND most of all peace-of-mind. Robert was a knowledgeable, professional project manager. He kept us informed of the plan , and when workers would be there and they arrived on time and finished it a timely manner with Robert checking frequently on their progress, I had no worries. When another upsetting storm, came damaging the partially constructed new tool shed, the next day Robert, was in our back yard with 2 new workers taking down and replacing with another new tool shed, and it was completed that day. Our phone calls, were answered quickly and with courtesy. The the replacement products on the roof and under the roof, the garage doors, painter,vents, and fence-were all top-notch. Thanks for an improved and safe home and the piece of mind. Our project manager explained our contract and plans and Rigid handled our discount information need for our VA discount, they gave us a discount on our roof, an gathered and faxed all the extra information that our home mortgage company and our insurance company wanted. Our house sustained damage from a severe storm (siding and roof). Our project manager, Robert, worked with our insurance company and the two adjusters that were sent to inspect the damage to our home. Robert and his team at Ridgid did an outstanding job when it came to speaking with our insurance company in order for us to get the maximum amount covered by our policy. The roof, siding and gutters were installed efficiently and quickly; the crew was extremely professional and alert to our needs and concerns. Our property was properly cleaned up after the work was completed and my husband and I were extremely happy with the finished product. All communications with Robert and the company before, during and after our house was worked on were pleasant and my husband and I felt that all of our questions and concerns were answered and taken care of in a quick, efficient and profession manner.

After hail storm I was having trouble finding someone to repair the flat roof on the back of the house. While in traffic I s aw the Angie's List sticker on the back of a Ridgid Construction pickup. Pulled and asked if they did flat roofing Melanie Galan said yes jumped out of the truck and gave me a business card. Melanie and everyone else we spoke with was just that helpful from that point on. We had some disagreements with the insurance adjusters about what needed to be replace and the type of material needed. Melanie and the others at Ridgid took care to meet with the adjuster, submit pictures and give information about the materials needed. Once work started the crew was efficient and professional. Hail storms predicted again this week....at least if we do have damage I can make 1 call and Melanie will take care of everything.

The roof was replaced quickly and as promised. When they were done, everything was cleaned up and the yard looked cleaned.

Their reputation is well-deserved. The staff provided us with as much information as we needed, worked around other projects we had going and did the work when they said they would.

After the hailstorm came through during the end of May, I contacted Ridgid Construction primarily because of the reviews I saw on your list. I've never filed an insurance claim on a home before, so I was a little naive about how the process worked. The home that needed repair was a rental home that I had an actual cash value (ACV) policy on. That means I was liable for the deductible and depreciation. Fortunately, the home is only five years old, so the depreciation is only about 11 percent. I contacted Ridgid and their representative came out on June 2nd to view the damage. He checked the roof, gutters and siding and verified they needed to be repaired. When I asked for an estimate, I thought a dollar figure would be expressed, but it never was. A week later on June 9th, the insurance adjuster inspected the home and an estimate for the repair costs came back for just under $9000. I contacted Ridgid Construction around June 13th or 14th and said I'd like them to do the work and they agreed. I had provided them with a cost estimate from the insurance company and thought they agreed to the price as well. Little did I know. I signed a contract on June 22nd to get it started. During the contract signing I was advised there might be supplemental costs due to the rising cost of materials. I was also told how to download a $500 coupon toward the replacement of a roof. Life was good. On July 6th, I was notified by my insurance company they had approved a supplemental increase of more than $3800 - over 40 percent of the original cost agreed upon - and nearly $400 more out of my pocket. I was stunned, but figured I had signed a contract and was stuck. The work was completed on August 20th - more or less. I fixed the items the contractors didn't complete. I just wanted to be done with the whole ordeal. During the initial stages of the process I asked how long this type of project might take and I was told about two weeks. It took two months. I was contacted once prior to the roofers showing up, and then I had to call the company to find out when the other repairs would take place. One group of contractors showed up at 7:30 PM and started banging in nails until 8:30 PM. I believe the only reason they stopped was due to nightfall. The young couple that rent the home have a baby and they were quite upset about the noise and no warning. I would not do business with Ridgid Construction again and would not refer them. If nothing else, it proved to be a learning experience for me that may be useful in the future. It is Oklahoma after all.

I would NOT hire this company to do any work on my house. While sitting through a green light in front of me, I honked to let them know it was green and the driver of the Ridgid Roofing truck flipped me off. VERY, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE!!! I had children in the car and it was completely unnecessary.

I purchased a coupon on Angie's List for Ridgid and contacted them for the work. They responded promptly and did the estimate. However, they seemed unfamiliar with the coupon and we had to go back and forth a couple of times before they agreed that if I purchased a coupon for $100 for $200 worth of work that they should take $200 off the total price, instead of just $100. I explained that if they only took $100 off the price then there was no point to buying the $100 coupon. In the end they did agree to this. Once the contract was signed they said it would be 1-2 weeks before completion of the work and that they would call me to schedule. I never heard back and was not aware that the work had been done until mid-August when I received the bill. I went outside to confirm, and, sure enough, I had new gutters. Everything appears to have been completed as discussed.

Overall it was a good experience, both with the work and the company representatives. The price was great. They also pointed out that the company we originally wanted to do the work was not licensed for work in Oklahoma City by pointing out the city wed site listing all the companies that were licensed in the city.

We contacted Ridgid Construction approximately on July 13, 2012 to request an estimate for repair and replacement of some siding on an investment house we had just purchased. Tom McKittrick was very professional, courteous and prompt and came to the property that same afternoon. He looked at the project, discussed with my husband details about the project, took the pieces of old siding tht we had and said they would be back in touch with us. According to Tom, he turned the project over to Lee, with DLS construction, who apparently does siding jobs for Ridgid. We have tried repeatedly to get an estimate, or even a response from Lee, all to no avail. My husband has called Tom on several ocassions and just asked for the return of the siding samples that Tom took with him and after nearly a month we still do not have either an estimate nor the siding pieces. In all fairness, Tom has been very courteous, professional and polite, but since Ridgid is who we called out for the estimate, based on checing with Angie's List, I can only give them the poor review for this project, since we didn't call, nor know anything about, DLS Construction. It has been very frustrating taking the time to call about this issue every few days to try to have our siding pieces returned. At this point in time we aren't interested in Ridgid doing the project. Although it isn't a huge project, they knew that when Tom first came out to check it out and should have told us at that time that they only did complete houses, not repairs, etc. 8-27-12 After my last post published, my husband was contacted by Tom McKittrick the next morning to discuss what they had done to correct the bad situation I had described in my review. He also said his company was not who we had our complaint with, which Troy differed in our opinion with that statement, since it was Ridgid that we had contacted, NOT the other construction company. But in all fairness we must say that Ridgid has since done everything they could do to return our siding pieces to us, in addition to going to grea lengths to find a company that could match this older siding we had. They were able to find someone locally that was able to match it as best as will be possible and obtained the price and information for us. They even reimbursed us for the damaged pieces of siding that were returned to us. We were also told that the contractor they had given our samples and job to was no longer doing work for them. We feel that Ridgid has resolved the issue to our satisfaction and are happy to amend our previous review oftheir company.

It turned out spectactular. They were the most competitively priced out of three bids. The owner was at our home to supervise the entire job. I am anticipating hiring them again for a different project within the next 6 months. I have recommended them since this time.

On 6/23/2012, I found Rigid Construction on Angie's List as a roofing contractor who did work in the St. Louis Metro area. I called and left a detailed message with contact information that I was interested in getting an estimate on roof repairs due to hail damage. I never received a reply of any kind from the company.

Very disappointed - got off to a great start but they left us hanging...

Insurance covered most except for depreciation and deductible. However, Rigid's/Angie's List $500.00 coupon covered the deductible! Even though the replacement roof was an upgrade from the old one, my out-of-pocket expenses turned out less than I thought they would be. Rigid's project manager, Melanie, was a stickler for the quality of work the crews were doing, and was a pleasure to work with - friendly, professional, courteous, and thorough. The roofing and siding crews did excellent work and cleaned up after themselves. If the need arises in the future, I will very likely call on the company again.

There are a lot of "out of town" roofing "companies" that try to cash in on storm damage in other parts of the country. I think this is one of them. The conventional wisdom is to avoid these itinerant roofers, and find one from your area. I believe this is sound advice.o ********************************************************************************************************************************************************** I find it offensive that Ridgid Construction is suggesting that I don't know which providers I have contacted. I suppose it is a simple, but predictable way to cover one's tracks. My statement stands. There was no mistake on my part. I will, though, be willing to give Ridgid Construction a second chance. We were delighted with them! We had received other quotes and their price was very competitive. The technicians showed up on time and were just great guys to deal with. The owner was wonderful to work with as well. They did a very good job!

The experience was okay. The technician who installed the door was great. The siding didn’t match the existing siding like I had hoped it would, but they did an adequate job overall.
