QUAIL CREEK CONSTRUCTION

We hired this company after taking several bids. They appeared to be very reasonable and professional. The first day they came out to seal the house and prep to paint, and also sealed the roof. The sealing job on the siding and trim was haphazard at best and we complained about it. The rep from the company came over that evening, agreed with us and took many pics with his phone, advising that he would have it corrected the next day. The next day, the crew came out and immediately started painting. They were using a sprayer and failed to mask windows and door frames. There was over spray all over the windows, on the front porch concrete, on the gutters and downspouts, on the exterior brick, and on our front porch Halloween decorations. One of their workers borrowed a broom from our neighbor, and complained to her about what a pain the job was. I called that same evening and told them that they were fired. I requested a complete refund of down payment on the interior work, which was not yet performed, and a partial refund of the deposit for the exterior painting. I was conferenced with both Kenny and Brian Krafton. They agreed that they would meet me the next evening to go over what I was talking about. I advised that their crew was not to come on my property again unless I was present. The next AM Brian came out while no one was home and inspected the job. I know this because my neighbors told me he was there. No one showed up to meet me that evening, despite repeated calls to them. The next evening I got Brian on the phone, and he agreed to meet me at the house at 530 PM. He failed to show or call, and I have been unable to get a return call since. I would like the entire down payment for the painting and interior work for a total of $1574.50. We already paid $920.00 for the roof work.
