Called about a Groupon because I wanted to make sure that the services could be done prior to Christmas before I made the purchase. The lady informed me that they could and that she could honor the Groupon price (I know how Groupon works so I am sure she was glad I called. By simply honoring Groupon's price, she didn't have to pay Groupon it's portion of the fee collected.) I told her how large my house is (square footage) and how many rooms were carpeted. I also specifically walked off the square footage of my hallway. She told me that a 4 room deal (opposed to a 6 room) would be fine. So I scheduled a 4 room deal. I also specifically asked what furniture could would be moved and what would not. She told me that he would move anything/everything except entertainment centers and beds. GREAT! He got there about 20 minutes late. No biggie. He called when he was about 10 minutes late to say he was going to be late. Maybe should have called 10 minutes BEFORE the appointment start time... He didnt really move anything. My mom and I moved everything. He "scooted" the couch and love seat from side to side. We moved everything else. He didnt even move a tall picture frame that was standing in the corner. Further, he went on to tell me that my house was a 6 room space because my living room was 2 spaces (nevermind that the bedrooms & hallway are tiny). And further that the Groupon for a 6 room was sold out. Nevermind that I did you a favor and didnt purchase thru Groupon so you got the full amount for my purchase. So what was supposed to cost me $49 for my home, cost me $64 and I didnt get one whole bedroom done (didnt have another $15 in the budget). Once he left as I was putting my rooms back together I noticed several pieces of debris (dead spiders, leaves, pieces of yarn, etc) along the baseboards and in corners. Makes me wonder if he didnt get the big stuff, how good of a job did he really do cleaning my carpets??? On the plus... He was very friendly to my toddler...
