Bruce Roofener started the work well, but after 4 months he moved out of state and left an employee in charge. He did very little and ultimately took the money for our project and spent it on other things. Bruce is now bankrupt and out of business. Bruce and his employee need to be criminally prosecuted.

Everything went great, we were very happy with all of their work.

It has been nothing but delay with New Horizon Construction and it has been very disappointing. They told me 4 to 6 weeks and it's been 4 months. It's 6 good excuses, one after another like the electrician was sick so they had to wait on him for a week and a half and they are off schedule because they couldn't do work until he was done, the texturing people are being painfully slow but no texturing had been done, the phone wasn't working so they didn't get my message, or the man's daughter had to have emergency surgery so he had to go out of town and my call isn't returned for 3 or 4 days. It started out great but now I'm not happy and New Horizon Construction knows that I'm not happy because they told me it would be done by March. The walls are not done, there are still no garage doors, and the bricks are still laying in the yard. They cleaned up the smoke they say but two of the walls that were supposed to be torn out are still there. The roof looks nice and the outside looks nice but the work is still incomplete. It wasn't the lowest estimate but the things that he said made a lot of sense to me so that's why I went with them. The main contractor has been working in Oklahoma and he left me with one of his men to work with him which was fine because I really like working with him. He went to the stores with us to pick out cabinets. I really like him better than the contractor but then the delays started and they keep drawing money from me. He said he bought all the appliances that need replacing, the cabinets, the things for the floor, everything, and he's got them in storage. I haven't seen them. He said he is waiting to use them until the walls get done. I know that there's a progression and I understand how they do that but I'm real disappointed because then I go by the house nobody is working. It has not been fun.

They were more than we were anticipating and they did come back and adjust it when we told them not but they didn’t adjust so we didn’t go with them. They were okay. I think their idea of what they wanted to do and our idea did not match up.

They did great work. He did everything he said he was going to do and was very reasonable in prices in comparison to other companies we inquired with. I am 99% satisfied with the work.
