Totally rude and aggressive. Ruined my carpet with muddy boots. Didn't know how to fix my plumbing, but demanded payment anyway. I couldn't get the so-called 'plumber' off my property soon enough.

I bought my house in May. There were 2 plumbing issues listed on the TRR. The seller chose to use Mullin plumbing (I think it was a friend helping a friend kind of thing). The first issue was that the water heater needed to be raised off the floor in the garage. The other issue was that the shower in the master bathroom was dripping. On the final walk through the water was shut off so we were unable to check to see if these things were actually fixed. However we could see that the water heater had been raised so we went with it in good faith. I had the utilities turned on the day of closing. The second I opened the garage door I could tell something was wrong! The water heater was leaking. I went to the master bathroom and sure enough the shower was dripping heavily. We arranged for the seller's plumber to come out the next day to make this right. I do not know his name unfortunately. He did fix the water heater and it has been good ever since. However he argued with me about the shower. He was disrespectful and degrading. He kept asking what I wanted him to do. I explained that the TRR said repair or replace so if his repair did not work the first time then I wanted him to replace it. He replaced the knob! I'm not even making this up. Then he strong armed it enough that it was not leaking, so like a dummy I signed that the repairs were done. Guess what! The next morning after my shower I could not get the drip to stop! I lived with the drip...and the wobbly knob he replaced for a few months. Finally over the weekend I watched some YouTube videos and talked to a guy at Ace. The drip and the wobbly knob are fixed for under $30 including the tool I had to buy. HE PUT THE SEATS AND SPRINGS IN BACKWARDS!!!! He had a horrible attitude and was a total sexist who thought he could Mickey Mouse the repairs and get away with it. I guess he did but I sincerely hope Mullin contacts me so we can figure out who this guy was. I will never use Mullin Plumbing and I make sure to tell everyone I know not to use them.

A man by the name of Victor came and worked on the roof. I paid him and he left. The sinks drained no better. I called the company back and Victor came again. This second time he was very hateful. He said, "I had it running" He started to go on the roof again and I told him the problem was with the pipes under the sink. He finally came in and started working under the sink. He pulled a pipe out and showed it to me. He shoved the pipe in my face and said, "Look at it! Well just look at it! What have you been running down there?" I endured him shoving a pipe in my face yelling at me twice. He took one pipe outside and ran it under the outside faucet and then came and put it back and left. The sinks still drained very slowly after he left, but he was so hateful the second time i was afraid to call again. Finally my daughter and son in law brought a large machine over and worked. Neither are in good shape medically but they worked until the job was completed. Two metal pipes broke during the process and had to be replaced. They finally got the job finished. Now my kitchen sinks drain as they should. So I paid them for the job I paid Mullin Plumbing to do.

This was the first time I'd used them. They honored what they were supposed to do. The first guy did a terrible job, I called to complain and they sent out another person. They were able to correct it. They sent someone back out within 2 hours to have the issue corrected. I had problems getting a hold of them. Once they got a good crew out here they did a good job.

Well when I called Mullins the lady that answered told me that I would cost a service charge of $90/hour for an estimate for a gas line for a dryer appliance. I told her to check with someone after 5 minutes and hold time she was able to come back to the line to advise that the estimate would be free so we set up the date and an 5 hour open window period that I had to take off of work to get the estimate since a specific time could not be set up. Great. So the installer came I explained that I need a gas line ran from my attic directly below where my dryer will be installed from my garage area and also where the water tank is located on the right side of the garage entry and once you enter the washer and dryer would be located. I have had 3-4 other estimates and even Angie's list quoted around $450- $650 for this service so I expected it since he would not have to run a line all the way throughout my attic just where the gas line is located above the dryer unit area. Some what easy a previous plumber told me with an quote of $550. When after the installer checked in the attic and explained that a hole would be need behind where the dryer is located he made a call to the office privately in his truck and came back with an estimate. An estimate of $940.00.. WOW I told him that I wanted an inspection/permit for the line installed. At first he told me that he would not be able to get the inspection which was weird because all other plumber told me the would but later in the conversation he said yeah they could get an inspection but it would cost an additional $230. Again a different plumber told me less that $90 so there is quit a different with the pricing and professionalism of Mullins. Before he even left my house I already made up my mind that Mullins would never come back for any work in my house. Never. The fact that they wanted to overcharge for no reason and double the price for an inspection I will be contacting the BBB for a formal complaint. I would not recommend this company and the people that have used it might not know they were overcharged for their service. NO way!

The Mullin plumber estimated the bill as about $4,300. While he was working he raised the bill to be about $6,500. My elderly husband and son, who has a leg amputation, had to help the plumber dig. They also had to help fill the ditch in with sand before the concrete arrived. The three times they were out, they left the area in a mess!! Mr. Mullin has a talk show on KTOK and after listening to him for several years, I chose his company because how "wonderful" his company was. After using them as plumbers, I realized our family could have done the job--lot cheaper because the major cost was labor. The last day, my son spent many hours finishing the concrete, because their work looked terrible. In the closet, the new concrete partially covered the fittings and pipes that were NOT supposed to be covered. My son noticed that and I needed to uncover the fittings and clean them, the pipes, and other plumbing parts. This would have caused a MAJOR problem if the concrete had been allowed to set up. Concrete was splashed on the garage walls, doors, and other items that were not even close. Our family spent many hours cleaning up after them--they quickly left after we paid them!! I called several times to Mullin Plumbing while they were working and my calls were never answered. Since they were paid, my thoughts will not matter to the company and I will never suggest anyone ever use this company!! I am contacting KTOK and suggest they not take Mr. Mullin's paid advertising because it is a terrible company and does disrespect to their radio station. I now understand how elderly people are victims to dishonest companies. I hope that other people use another company--there should be honest plumbing companies in the Oklahoma City area.

Brad came out and repaired the drip on my kitchen sink first. He let me know that running the washer lines the first day would cost more because he would go into over time. He came back on Thursday when I was at home and did the job in a professional manor. He did have to put up with my dogs but he did not mind as he had met them on the previous day and handled the entire adventure as a professional. I would gladly recommend them to anyone just on the experience I had with my home. The reason I chose them is because my work uses them and the jobs they do there are always done the right way. My company has been in Oklahoma since before it was a state and they will only chose a honest company above all else.

I've hired Mullin twice. The first time, it was to fix a leaking faucet, and the experience was fine. I was able to schedule the service visit quickly, and the plumber did a great job. (It's been several months with no hint of the leak returning.) He was friendly and professional, and I thought the price was reasonable. The second time I hired them was to fix a running toilet. It was an intermittent problem, and it didn't run while the plumber was here, which I'm sure makes it more difficult to diagnose. The plumber (who again, was very nice) replaced the part that he said was the most frequent cause of the problem and told me to call if there were any more problems. Later that day, it started running again. I called the office a few days later and explained the situation and asked about scheduling a second repair visit. The scheduler put me on the calendar. However, she told me that the second visit would cost the full $90 service charge, even though it was their second attempt to fix a problem that they didn't fix correctly the first time. I don't have any way of knowing if that's typical of plumbers in this area or not, but it didn't seem fair to me. In light of that policy, I canceled the return visit, and I don't think I'll use Mullin again. (I do want to emphasize that my rating of "F" for professionalism is for this policy, which I'm sure is set by the Mullin owners, not for anything having to do with the plumber's own behavior.) (I eventually fixed the toilet myself - the problem was a $2 seal on the flush valve.)

The gentlemen that was out to perform my requested services arrived ahead of schedule, which is a good thing. He was very expedient in his work. We had to smash out some tile to perform the requested work, which is fine by me. (I was briefed and actually assumed this would need to be done.) I had intentions of getting it re-tiled soon anyhow. The shower hardware he installed looks great and no leaks. The bathroom sink drain is a problem causer; it's still leaking after he worked on it. I'm going to call them back today to try to get them back out to get it repaired. We've stopped using it temporarily, while it's a bit of an inconvenience, sometimes these things happens and I'm alright with that as long as they fix it properly. I wouldn't fault them for the ongoing leak in the drain, so far I've had a great experience with them and I will use Mullin again in the future. If I were giving the grade... I'd give them an A- or a B+

Excellent service and workmanship. I had a different plumber pull out of the job and called Mullin to see if they could fit me in. My family had been without water for 3 days waiting for the first plumber. I telephoned Mullin at 8:25 AM. Brenda promised a technician today. I received a call at 9:35 AM saying the tech was in route. If you are looking for a professional plumber, call Mullin.

It didn't go due to lack of owners part to give an estimate
Description of Work: I called Mullin because they are one of the OKC citys approved plumbing company's for installing new meters. After some confusion on their part the owner Daniel came out to look at putting in a new meter on our vacant lot. He said he would have an estimate the following week. When I didn't hear from him I called, I called every week for 6 weeks straight still no estimate. I don't have a problem with a company turning down a job but avoiding giving estimate or just saying thanks but no thanks I see as potential problem with the company! There are no excuse for not being upfront or avoiding giving an estimate. To busy? Lazy? Lack of general concern for business well being? Avoid the waste of time call someone who wants to work!

Response from Mullin Plumbing
Dear Sir, After speaking to our Operations Manager, Daniel Ice, and researching the issue we stand by the last conversation that transpired between you and Daniel. The project you have at hand and requested we give you a bid for has not been approved by the city to install an additional water meter on an adjacent lot to your physical address that you wish to build a "commercial" business. Your plans would have to be submitted to the city for approval and once they see that you are putting a commercial building on a residential lot it will not be approved. Now you had mentioned that you were considering it to be a "guest house" on your residential property and if the city allows that with a building permit they still will not allow an additional water meter to be put on an adjacent lot behind your current. They will require it to be ran off your existing meter for your residence. Being an approved contractor for any city/state agency we must abide by their ruling and be in complaince with any of their codes. We apologize for your inconvenience but we are unable to give an estimate on a job that the city will not approve additional utilities. Sincerely, The Mullin Team

lHowever, when an Inspector did not come out that day or the next, my son called the City Inspector's office and was told that no one had called for a final inspection. My son asked for an inspection and an OKC Inspector did come out and passed the job. However, we don't think the OKC Inspector checked the attic, as Mullin had not reconnected the hot water tank line, the furnace line or the gas line to the fireplace starter. When I called ONG, they would not come out without these gas lines being hooked up and ready to use. This has been going on for a week now and we still have no hot water and during the cold last week, we had no heat. When my son called Mullin Plumbing today (05/13, 2013) Sara got sort of nasty with him, but did tell him they would be out tomorrow. So, we will see if after Mullin comes out and reconnects these three (3) lines, ONG has to pass the work and find no gas leaks before they will unlock the gas meter and turn the gas back on. We have had at least 4 incidents with Mullin where they came out and did not do a good job. We will never use them again.
Description of Work: My son called Mullin Plumbing to come to his home for a suspected gas leak. Mullin sent a young man named Jason out and he had my son call ONG to come out and lock the gas meter, as he found a gas leak. This same Mullin plumber called an OKC Inspector to come out when the plumbing job was not nearly finished, which sort of upset the City Inspector. The OKC Inspector capped off the meter and put a lock on it and told the plumber to not call him back until the job was finished. The OKC Inspector did tell the plumber that a new gas line from the meter into the house would have to be installed, which necessitated running the new gas line up the outside of the house into the attic and then to the hot water heater, furnace and the fireplace gas line. The plumber cut off the old gas line into the house leaving the line sticking out about 10 inches and not capped off. Also, the plumber really cut an opening too large for the gas line at the sofit level and after running the new gas line into the attic, the plumber left the opening uncovered and birds got into the attic. When I called Mullin and talked to a lady named Sara, who was very defensive, but I told her they had to come out and cut that pipe off and cap it so criters could not get in the attic and also fix the hole in the sofit to keep the birds out of the attic. Jason came back out and did cut the pipe off flush with the wall and filled it with cement, which is OK. However, the "patch" he put on the sofit looks like it was done by a "first grader." Mullin told us they (Mullin) had called the OKC Inspector to come back out an inspect the job.
