Great. Very professional and explained everything very thoroughly.

The sewer problem was at my son's house and his girls were demanding a working restroom. There was snow and ice on the ground from a winter storm the day before. I contacted Mr. Rooter by phone at 7:00 AM and requested same day service. Despite the weather challenges our sewer was cleared by noon. I needed to pay the bill remotely because I wasn't at the home and that was not a problem. I talked with the plumber, Larry, after he completed the work and he was very professional. I will use them next time.

The Mr Rooter plumber (Larry) came promptly and did an excellent job. He worked from our roof and ran 90 feet of drain auger through the pipe and into the front yard to clear the blockage. We were so relieved that he could clear the blockage for a very reasonable price on a Sunday morning. He was such a knowledgeable plumber and so nice. The day before on Saturday afternoon, we had the complete opposite experience with a Roto-Rooter plumber who said the cost would be $800 to $900 and require 2 plumbers to do the job (so I said I would call a different company) in addition to a service charge of $163.95 for just showing up! So glad I called Mr Rooter instead.

Excellent. Each person I spoke with (on the phone & at my house) was friendly and professional. The gentleman that came to fix the faucet was so nice and talked to us the whole time he was working. The faucet appears to be fixed and we will definitely be saving this company are for future needs.

Steve was very polite and professional. He explained everything that he was going to do. He located the clog which was out side the house just before the sewer main. He cleared the clog in the drain quickly and efficiently and indicated the drain pipe appeared in good condition and did not require addition repair. He also adjusted the temperature in the master shower since it was running a bit cool. When the bathtub backed up due to the clogged drain, we ended up with water in a nearby room which had not happened before. With my permission Steve cut into the nearby closet wall to expose the tub drain which I suspected might be leaking. It wasn't. Since the leak did not come from the tub he discussed possible causes such as a potential crack in a vent line in the nearby sink area that may have allowed water out when the backed up water rose to the level of the full bath. He offered to find and fix the leak, but since that would have involved cutting several exploratory holes in the wall I decided to wait. I've done quite a bit of Gen. plumbing and decided to wait and see if we have another problem before cutting into the wall myself.

He arrived on time. At first it seemed he wasn't going to get the line cleared but he worked on it for 2 hours and finally got it cleared. Very reasonable price considering the time. Couldn't be more happy.

My toilet had been flushing poorly for days. After wearing out a plumber's helper I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Larry arrived 45 minutes later. He quickly inspected the toilet and using a roto-router tool retrieved a wad of dental floss that had hung-up on the piping and was causing the problem. A plumber's helper would never have dislodged it. Lesson learned: Don't flush floss. Nylon won't ever dissolve and it's really strong.

The guy I spoke with on the phone was not very professional, and seemed easily confused by the problem. He first told me that reseating a toilet would be $109.00. Then he asked me what the problem was. I again explained the sewer gas smell in the toilet closet, and that we recently replaced the seal with a waxless seal (because the toilet was rocking), but after that the smell started. He told me they would have to do a smoke test to determine where the smell was coming from, which would be over $200.00, because a bad wax seal under the toilet would not cause a foul smell like that. I'm no plumber, but this is not rocket science. Of course a bad wax seal will let sewer gas escape -- that is the purpose of the seal. This blatant dishonesty gives a bad name to tradesman everywhere, and I refuse to give such people my business.

When I found this provider the web page very specifically said there was no overtime or travel time. We were charged after the fact - they did not mention it when I scheduled the service - a $35 overtime and travel time charge. They also charged more than anyone ever has to locate and fix the problem (we have had similar issues over the years) however, all they did was replace a coupling at the t-joint. I can accept the larger amount and even the overtime charge if in fact the repair had lasted. The exact stop coupling replaced failed 14 months after install. It failed because it was the wrong part. We had to hire another plumber to replace it. False advertising concerning overtime charges, excess fees for work done, and poor work to boot! I would not recommend using this company.

I recently purchased a home built in 1957. I had the sewer lines inspected as part of the purchase because the owner had indicated the toilets would get stopped up on a fairly regular basis. The sewer line scope showed roots in the line and standing water in the line. I contacted Mr. Rooter and they were able to send a crew (some combination of Bryan/Max/Steve for the initial work and then to fill in the hole after inspection) who had just freed up that morning to my house. I explained what the video had shown and approximately where in the line they found the issues. They found the clean-out and started digging by hand at first to identify where the pipe was running and to get a sense of where the sprinkler lines and gas lines were located in the backyard. They found the problem with a run of orangeburg pipe which had flattened out over the years and had roots break through it at various points. They explained to me what needed to be done and what the next steps would be (inspection, etc). They brought in a small backhoe (no small feat to navigate it through the first turn and narrow side gate to my backyard) to dig up the remaining length of bad pipe. They replaced the orangeburg with PVC pipe and connected it to a good piece of orangeburg further away from the house. In addition, they proactively added two clean-outs (one for each bathroom on that side of the house) which would make any future clogs or issues much easier to identify and fix. They scheduled time for the city inspector to come out and review the work. Once the city inspector signed off, they filled in the hole and cleaned up all of the old pipe. We have not had a clog since the work was done. Overall, a very good experience with high quality results.

I was referred by a local company that does leak detection that said they have been working with them for 20 years and how honest and professional they are. I went on to review Angie's Lists reviews and was looking forward to see if we could work together now and in the future since I am employed in real estate. I called on the Thurs, the 7th of August to request an estimate on plumbing repairs since I want to get their price basis before going to far. The lady in the office that took my call said they would be out later that day Thursday to provide an estimate. I never heard anything so I proceeded to call again the next day and the man that answered read my phone number to me with the address I gave the previous day and said they would call when they were heading that way. That was Friday and it's a week later and still nothing. I have worked with a lot of different plumbing companies in the past, but I have never had one not show up or call. VERY disappointed in this experience.. or lack of experience?

We are not happy customers. This service was too expensive, and poorly done. At first we were impressed with all the good feedback for this company, and expected to have good service. Very disappointed. Just bought this house and moved in. We had a drippy shower faucet (the knob wouldn't tighten enough) bathroom #1. It kept us awake it was so loud. :( The other bathroom (#2) shower had a knob which we had replaced (took the good one to the store as an example to replicate) because one knob had some damage (and very dirty.) Both were functional and there was no drip before we took these knobs off. Apparently we didn't get the screw properly tightened because although previously dry, now it had a slow drip. Thank goodness for plumbers, right? Also, the backyard faucet was drippy. The nice gentleman came out and explained that the outdoor faucet was okay because that kind of faucet (frost free) did leak but he would caulk around it since there was a gap. Then he said that bathroom #1 needed complete faucet replacement. I asked him if it might be cheaper if my husband ran to the store to buy a replacement. The repairman said no the difference would only be a few dollars less. He did quite a bit of pipe banging but finished. During this time he was on the phone and out to his truck a couple of times. He was looking for parts (I'd asked about the rubber gasket part for the garbage disposal -no luck). He said he would look for a longer screw for the bathroom #2 faucet handle. He placed that and said he was finished. My husband looked and saw that we now had a different shower head on bathroom #1. Originally we had one of those shower massage versions on a hose and with different sprays. The young man said that it was cracked and that is why he replaced it with a fixed head...cheaper than the one we had. I wonder if he thought we wouldn't notice? I wonder why he had any interest in the shower head at all, since the problem was in the faucet below and we, using it every day, never noticed a crack. We were very disappointed in the price which was $411. Much higher than his estimate which was under $300 (still too high but we needed the work done.) And we were even more disappointed when we discovered that the #2 shower was still leaking. Previously all it needed was a longer screw, according to this repairman.) So I called the company and they said they'd send someone out on Saturday (he also said we might be charged again although we'd first get an estimate - Wow! Talk about being professional, huh?) No one showed up or called although we waited all day. So today I emailed and telephoned the office. I spoke to Mr. Duck who seemed more friendly last week when I first called him to get help with the leaky faucet. This time he was irritated, saying his employee had stayed for many hours. Mr. Duck seemed to confuse me with someone else, saying he'd already talked to me about this problem. However, he promised that the young plumber, Chris, would call me back. He didn't and we're not sure if we understand all that good feedback. As another complaint, there was no 10% off per the coupon, nor a senior discount. This company is apparently inconsistent. We were hoping not only to get these simple plumbing problems repaired, but also looking for a reliable, trustworthy and efficient plumber for the future. Sadly, it won't be MR. ROOTER. Now we are searching for a good plumber to complete this work.

They were very professional and did excellent work. this is the first time I can say I will call a plumber back out to do work again. This has been one of the hardest contractors for me to find fast, reliable and reasonable priced. Would for sure call them again if needed.

This service call was for my mother who lives in Oklahoma. She suffers from dementia so when I contacted Mr. Rooter, I explained that I would need to have her caretaker meet them. They gave me a time and showed up right on time. They were fast and efficient. My mother's caretaker was impressed with the company. I appreciate their quick service.

In and out in no time. 2 gentlemen came out and they knew exactly what to do. They had my problem fixed in about 30 minutes.

I scheduled a time with the Mr. Rooter dispatcher to have one of their plumbers come to the house to replace the hot and cold water washer connections in the laundry room and to run a gas line to the laundry room so we could use our gas dryer. The dispatcher called me in advance to let me know when the plumber was on his way. Chris arrived and went to work. He was efficient, knowledgeable and let us know what he was doing during the process. The appliance installers actually commented on the quality of the gas line mounting and valve work. He cleaned up the work area. He provided a detailed bill on the hours and materials and applied the Angie's List member discount coupon to the labor charges. Overall a great experience. I plan to use Mr. Rooter for all of my plumbing work.

I have used them twice, and they were very good. They did a very good job, and we will use them again in the future. They were very nice, very down to earth, and very helpful. They didn't offer me anything that I didn't need extra. They worked hard. A lot of the other companies said that we needed to do this and do that. They listened to me, and they didn't treat me like I was a woman, and didn't know what I was talking about. They came out a second time for something completely different, and they didn't even charge. He told me how I could have done it on my own. They were here for 45 minutes, and they were very thorough, and he walked me through what was hot and what was not. He was very honest and very nice. They are one of the best companies that I have dealt with in 15 years.

Answered phone and I called around 6pm. Scheduled me for the next morning and came when they said they would. Honored the coupon from AL. He was very professional. Quick. Cleaned up after himself. Fixed the problem! Very happy with their service.

The technician was not professional.

They did fine. They were not real cheap, but they were reasonable enough. They charged the going rate, did a quick job and it did not take very long. They came right away when they said they would. Their pricing was average.

Placed a call at 7:40AM and were told he would be at our home between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. There was a knock at our door at 8:55AM. Aaron, the technician, was extremely courteous and explained everything that he was doing. By 9:30AM he was done and out the door. So in the span of less than 2 hours our problem was solved! The "Saturday charge" was only an additional 25.00 which was a truly pleasant surprise! We just changed plumbing companies!

I have used this company multiple times in the past year to fix some issues with the toilets in my older home. Finally decided to just have them replaced, instead of continuously fixing the same recurring issue. I called a little after 9am and told them I had 2 non-functioning toilets and company coming the next weekend, and they had someone out the same afternoon. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly friendly and helpful and the job was done incredibly fast. The service was reasonably priced and I am so thankful for their promptness each time I have had to call. Would definitely recommend them in the future (although hope to not have to have them at my house again anytime soon! :))

This is the second time I've had this company out to my home to clear a line blockage. I sent a message before 7:00 am and they had someone there by 8:45. I'm very pleased!
