Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Oklahoma City

Left an email to call me, which they did. Made an appointment for the day after next. Never showed up. Never called. I took off work for them, too.

I needed a sewer line ran from the house to the main, fast. I live in a 1920s home and it still had the original sewer lines which of course decided to give out at the exact wrong time. I figured this would be an expensive job, so I decided to get 3 estimates. The line was about 100 feet long and 11 foot deep at the riser. First quote was 13k, second quote was 10K, third quote was 7k- which I almost took. I decided on getting one more, since they were all over the place. Glad I did! Mr. Rooter quoted me $3700ish for the job. I immediately accepted and they started the next day. The crew was friendly and very helpful. Total professionals. Very polite, very honest guys. They gave a ton of excellent advice and kept me in the loop on all things they were doing. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this, it sometimes seems like most service providers are out to get you, they see nothing but profit. Not Mr. Rooter, these guys are the real deal. I can't recommend them enough. They now have another lifetime customer- me.

Awesome. We've used them several times, always top notch service. Their staff are friendly and professional. Mr. Rooter is our go-to plumber.

Everything went well. They arrived on time. Very efficient. They cleaned up after themselves. Very pleasant experience!

Mr rooter is the worst plumber ive ever used. I have 10 rental properties and have used multiple plumbers over the course of 15 years. They came out without calling my renters, left human feces on the yard (told me thats my job to clean it and not theirs) and didnt finish the job. they had to come back the next day to finish it right after i called and complained. Then to top all of that off charged me $324.00 for a $115 quote. DO NOT CALL this plumber to have your drain unclogged, They are terribly unprofessional and do not care about customer service.

The guys from Mr. Rooter came out and looked at our plumbing. On the previous day, our sewage was backing up into the house. When the guys got to our house, our problem had fixed itself. The fellow gave us plausible causes for what we had experienced. He also gave us preventative advice to keep the problem at bay. He also said if we had any more problems that the cost of today's service would be applied towards their next visit if they had to return within 30 days. Fair and honest, I truly appreciate Mr.Rooter Plumbing. We will be using you again, if the need shall arise! Thank You!!!!!

The actual work seemed to be pretty good. The reason for my lower rating is because they were extremely bad on communicating their prices. When I first called to make the appointment on Saturday I specifically asked if there was any extra fee for coming out on a Saturday. The woman working at the office said ?no?. After the plumber was finished, he said that with the usual fee there was a $25 fee for coming in on Saturday. I told him I specifically asked if there would be a fee and that the woman at their office said there wouldn?t be. He said not to worry about it; since all he did on Saturday was cut holes in our wall he wasn't going to charge me and he would only charge us for the work on Monday. Ok, that seems fair. I then specifically asked him how much he expected everything to cost on Monday. The plumber said that it would be about $100 an hour, which including materials, equipment, etc., not just labor. Considering $100 an hour is a heck of a lot of money, that seems way too much for just labor, but for everything it seemed ok. He came on Monday around 9:45 am. He went to work, showed us the chewed up pipe (stupid gophers), replaced the part and recemented the closet very well. As for the work, I don?t have any complaints. But when he was leaving I asked how much. Considering it was about 11:45 am, I was expecting $200ish based on what he told me on Saturday. However, he said the total was $425 and change. I called him out on how the price soared from what he specifically said on Saturday, and he said something to the effect that he must have misspoke, that the $100 an hour was just for labor, that didn?t include materials, equipment, etc. I paid the fee, but let him know I was NOT happy about the price jump and that they couldn?t get their story straight on what the fees are or how much they charge.

Service was same day and professional. Very tidy as well.

Plumber quickly diagnosed the issue and identified it as an issue with the city line. He had his dispatch call the city and when i asked what I owed him, the response was "All I did was look, I won't charge you for that". I was extremely happy with the quick response, diagnosis, and assistance contacting the city.

The camera technician just listened to the drain and determined that we had a very simple to repair leak in a vertical drain line. He was friendly, courteous, and only charged $60 for the trip which we were happy to pay.

We had a clogged main sewer line so timing was important. They were very prompt and conscientious. The technician first tried a smaller snake in a sink line and then had to move to the larger machine that normally requires another person. He quickly mobilized the necessary resources and got the job done for what I felt was a very fair price. I would use them again.

I called to request service and within 2 hours a gentleman was sent out to determine what the problem was. He cleaned out the drain and within less than an hour the problem was resolved. He was polite, professional, and respectful. I was very pleased. Note: Kudos for putting the shoe covers on when entering the home - I have had many different service providers within the home in the last two weeks (I just purchased and moved into the home) and many who would walk through the house with muddy/wet shoes.

They got here 20 minutes after called. Very proficient.

Left at 5:15 PM. Toilet is crooked and leaking, wall is scuffed. Nuts and washers left on floor. I called to report leak, they would not send anyone after-hours with out charging us more. Supervisor would not call and talk to us. They advised to turn water off and they would come tomorrow. Very unprofessional as their website says no after hours charge. False advertisement.

On Saturday morning when the washer emptied its water, the sewer line was clogged. Water and sewer material was coming back through the lines into the home. We called Mr. Rooter just after 7 am. and they told us the charge and that someone would be there between 8:30 am and 9 am. Richard promptly showed up at 8:30. He was courteous and very professional. We had use of our home's water very soon after his arrival. A job well done.

Very satisfactory work. Man was prompt and efficient. He performed all service as expected, was polite and accommodating. I had spent the previous 24 hours with a partially blocked, slow draining, sewage system from the bathrooms and was very relieved when the problem was resolved. By cleaning out the kitchen and washing machine vents, he also eliminated a "glug-glug" noise I had been hearing when my washing machine drained. I would use this company again if a problem re-occurred. So far, it has not.

Came promptly. Made sure he was cleaning out the clogged portion of the line. Did a thorough job. We are now clog free!

Although the plumber showed up a little late due to getting stuck in traffic, the service was great. He went in the backyard and ran the snake down the main line, and had all my plumbing working again in about 10 minutes. The price was great, and the serviceman knew exactly what to do. I would definitely use them again. :)

He found the problem quickly and fixed it. He was very nice and professional.

Spoke to a central answering service that stated that they would be able to come to my location. I was given a phone number for the local office when I called some guy answered but I could barely hear him and it was like a "ya" instead of a professional " Rooter Rooter how can I help" answer. Then he was less than interested in anything I had to say and just said can't help you we don't go to your location. I tried to say that the central answering service said they did he just said "Don't know what to tell you we don't" bye. then hung up on me.

Greg was courteous and professional and we would definitely recommend Mr. Rooter again.

After spending a couple hours trying to unclogged the kitchen sink myself with plunger, running a hand auger through the pipes still with no success. I decided to check out Angie's List for a plumber for help. Called about 4 or 5 plumbers and only one had someone available that would be out that same day and that was Justin of Mr. Rooter! He had it unclogged in minutes. He showed me that there is a clean out pipe accessed from the outside of the house near the kitchen wall that I didn't know that it was use for that purpose. Notice a 10% off coupon on their posting I completely forgot to use, could've saved a few bucks, but all in all very satified with the work done!

We had just moved into this home and the toilet started backing up. I called around 8:00 a.m. and they said they could come out around 9:30 a.m. - since I work I couldn't meet with them until 4:00 and the gentlemen showed up on time. He quickly fixed my problem and was very professional. This is the 2nd time I have used Mr. Rooter and will use them again!

Larry came out this morning right at 8:30 just like the dispatcher said he would. Larry has been doing this for over 30 years and I am quite sure he is one of the very best. He is only going to be doing this for another year. Fortunately he is responsible for training the new kids. We will be switching to White Cloud 3-Ply paper from Walmart at Larry's suggestion, and flushing the sewer line with 5 gallon buckets every few months. I installed a new low-flow toilet 3 months ago and even with very frequent flushing there is not enough water volume there to keep our old cast iron lines clear.

Considering all the "good" reviews, I decided to hire Mr. Rooter. I scheduled work last Friday for minor shower and toilet repairs on Monday, was told that someone would be here between 9am - 9:15 am. Canceled my work and appts. to be here. Waited all morning and no show, no call. It is now almost noon. I called the office and spoke with David and he said that someone would be here after 9:15. I said, "yes but its already after 11am?" He said "well after 9:15 which could mean ANYTIME after 9:15 to whenver someone shows up, even if its 5pm." This was scheduled. So whatever time they give you really doesn't mean anything. I specifically asked "If customers are supposed to take the entire day off for a scheduled appt shouldn't you tell them that? Why schedule an appt. then? You couldn't even be courteous enough to call back and give a 2 hour window? Are we just supposed to wait all day and whenever someone shows up, they show up?" David said "yes, even if that means all day regardless if it was scheduled." And the same goes for any one else that uses them. A scheduled time really isn't a scheduled time. Completely unprofessional and unapologetic. You can bet that I will never call them again much less refer them out. Lesson learned. I would seriously think twice before using them.
