NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! We had a complete rewire and breaker box stalled. Work took twice as long as we were told and then the work was not completed. Multiple plugs don't work now, switch covers were left off, multiple switches were not changed out, trash from their work was left every where and furniture and household items were not put back in place except for the room we were sitting in. We called next day after work was done to ask about plugs not working and work not completed and we were told they would have to charge us another $299 to come out to check.

Their service was fine.

I had to provide my credit card information and agree to pay $79 just to have them look at replacing a light switch. They charged me $164 to replace the switch. This was a $1 part. I paid it but that's only part of the problem. After giving them my credit card information, someone started using my card for other purchases. I called Mr. Sparky and ask who had my information. They would not give me a straight answer. I do have a 5 year warranty on the switch they put in.

Job okay but lots of hidden costs. Ended up overcharging us a lot and when we tried to get our money back (we prepaid) on things they hadn't done yet, they wouldn't return our phone calls. Avoid at all costs.

Recommendation was to replace the entire circuit breaker box with a new one. Old one works fine and is 20 years old. Cost would be several thousand dollars. This company will get in your pockets if you let them.

Mister Sparky charges per job rather than per hour. Replacement of 5 switches counts as 5 jobs. Because they charge by the job and not by the hour, it was going to be over $1000. If you need multiple small services, Mister Sparky is too expensive. If you have one job that may take longer than expected, they might be a good option.

I called Mr Sparky about wanting to have some electrical work done on the outside and inside. Many homes in my neighborhood have the outdoor lightning that drops down from the roof and illuminates the front of the home. I also asked to have lights installed under my kitchen cabinets and that an electrical outlet was already installed so the wiring was already there. During the phone conversation I was informed that there would be a $59 and quot;service feeand quot; that would be deducted from my final bill should I go with Mr Sparky. The gentleman showed up to my home and after 45 minutes informed me that he would not be able to fulfill my request of the projects asked. He said that I did not have the correct roof to add lighting in and that because I had a tiled back splash I would not be able to have lightning installed. However before he left he insisted that I would have to still pay the $59 because he came out for a job he said could not be done. 2 weeks later another company came out and had no problem adding the lighting that I had asked for. I would stay far away from Mr Sparky.

The gentlemen came out on time and they were super friendly and knowledgeable. I needed just four lights phased out but their price was $3100. I can go to a home improvement retailer and I can buy the lights for $29. Those guys wanted $150 for the lights and $146 to put it in---when it was just a matter of four screws and two wires. I paid them their $59 and told them not to ever come back. Their pricing was just exuberant--$3100 for a job that should have been less than $500. They also did a safety check and inspected all electrical outlets. Then they came up with the fact that I really ought to have GFI outlets on the counters in my kitchen. I didn't need that but that was included in their price. Their price covered two GFI outlets, two fluorescent shop lights, and two outdoor lights. I'll never call them again.

Called about getting some dead outlets repaired and light fixtures replaced in our historic home. Call was returned prompty and an appointment to come out and look at the job was made right there for next week. This appointment was not just for a bid but for them to do the job if we were ok with the bid. The entire job took 5 hours and I consider the price very fair considering the promptness and professionalism. IMPT to note: They charge by the job not by the hour. Plus, our house's electrical system is very screwed up and anyone who has the patience to deal with that is amazing in my book!

They arrived on time, two techs in a. While one tech started work on the change over, the senior tech worked on the charges the whole time. He gave me an unsolicited estimate of what it would cost to replace my breaker box.l They decided they wanted a box to go with the plug but they didn't have one with them. It was on another truck in the area so I wound up with three techs and two trucks to replace a simple wall switch. The total cost to replace the wall switch was $267 a cost which I view as very high for the task.

They're were really good. I haven't had to use them in a while. The last time they were, they gave us a really good discount here because my mother's a senior. Their prices are reasonable. They were very professional. They cleaned up after themselves. They let me know what they were doing. When I had a question, they answered it clearly. They also did an extra work, the outlet needed tightening and he went ahead and did that.

The service was very good. I would use them again. They were professional, on time, and the cost was reasonable.
