MHM Roofing

We hired this company to reroof our house and I can honestly say that their work was timely, professional and very well done. My husband and are very pleased with the look and quality of the finished work. However, once the work was done, the quality of their customer service was such that we cannot recommend them to anyone. Our insurance paid for the work except for deductible. Through an agreement with the company, where we allowed their advertising signs to remain in our yard for a time, that too was taken care of. When the initial payment came, they were here to pick up immediately. There was where their response time and customer service died on the vine. The workers finished, the foreman (we took it to be at least) rang the bell and explained that they were finished and would be back the next day to clean up, Our drive where they had their bin, was filled with debris, nails, etc. We were parking on the side of our property to avoid the nails and a flat tire or injury. After 4 or 5 more days of parking that way, it became clear that tomorrow was not going to come for the cleanup crew, so my husband got out and worked picking up and vacuuming up nails and such. We apparently didn't find them all, evidenced by a ruined tire a few days later. The worker also damaged some of our brick wall at our front walk. The damage was not great, would have taken a masonry person a short visit to replace a couple bricks. The insult to the injury was that they did the damage and then left with no mention of it, at all. All it would have taken was an acknowledgement and then taking care of fixing problem. We would have given them a very good allover score. We made several calls, they made calls to us, but only to ask if the final check was available for pickup. When it was, they picked it up same day. It has been over 4 months, we honored our agreement to leave the ad signs up, even leaving them longer, thinking they would come take them up. There has been no apology, reimbursement for the work we had to do or the damage they caused. Apparently this company only has one goal in mind. Do a very nice job on the actual roofing work and get the money. So, if you want a nice roof, they do an excellent job. If you want customer service or the reassurance, should there be any problems, that they will be available and willing to correct errors, then do NOT use this company.
