Metheny Concrete Products, Inc

This is the worst company you could ever hire. Their driver was very rude. They were over 3 hours late. I was paying 4 installers to stand around and wait for Metheny to show up. Then when we finally called Metheny to find out where they were, apparently they forgot but said they'd send a truck. When the truck finally arrived, the concrete was very old, which we didn't know until after it was poured. It couldn't be smoothed at all. The driver was very rude and left abruptly. My installers worked their ***** off trying to make this work but there was no way. It was horrendous. We tried to talk to them that same day but couldn't get a hold of them. The next day, when I told them how horrible that concrete was and that it was completely unmanageable and could never be smoothed into a driveway surface, no matter how hard my installers tried, and that the concrete was too old and dry when they delivered it, Metheny finally agreed to come look at it 5 days later. I was there the entire time and the person, Steve, who is a salesman, apparently looked at a corner of it for less than 2 minutes and then left without ever talking to me. When I was finally able to reach him, he was a complete bully and tried to mansplain that it wasn't their fault, just like if he made a cake and it turned out bad, it wouldn't be that there was something wrong with the batter, just that the person who put it in the oven did that part wrong. I am not even kidding. This is exactly what he said. He also tried to make me think that this concrete was perfectly ok as a driveway and that I was expecting something that was unreasonable. Attached is a photo of what my driveway looks like. And they told me they will not acknowledge that there is anything wrong and will have no conversations with me about how to rectify the situation. And then he laughed at me. They provided a totally unacceptable product, have not even acknowledged that they made an error nor have they even apologized and tried to be reasonable. I just want what I paid for but they don't think that they should have to provide that. I hate it but I'm going to have to sue them which is not at all what I wanted. But they are giving me no choice and I would just hope they would take responsibility for their mistake and do the right thing.
