+ -1 moreIf I could give no stars, I would. Three weeks of postponed appointments & no toilet install. A plumber told me handy doesn't pay enough. I ordered an installation when I purchased the toilet 10/30/22. Horrible experience to be ghosted by Lowes/Handy installation.

+ -1 moreI am not sure but it seems that 150 may be a bit much to install a toilet. I know I could do it myself - but the fact is that I was scared since it was a new house. I picked my toilet, and they had me take it in order to save a $25 charge for the installer to bring it. He did a great job and showed me how to adjust if needed. All in all a good job. I was just surprised at the price for install. . .it's probably right now I guess.
Description of Work: I bought a toilet and Lowes came in to install it.

+ 0 moreI think my wife may have done something on a trip. We get a lot of stuff from the local Lowes in Oklahoma City. With regard to price, we got the damaged one coming out, but before that discount, the price for the two of them was maybe $1600.We would definitely use them again in the future.
Description of Work: We go to Lowes to buy stuff for our home. The last time we used them, we bought a washer and dryer there. We go there often. We have bought a lot of different things there over the years.

+ -1 moreThe reason for the low ratings is that the Lowe's flooring guy caused me to delay some already badly needed flooring work in a kitchen for one of our rentals. I needed subfloor and some joists repaired along with laying some vinyl floor planks. Very frustrating!
Description of Work: Nothing. Although the subcontractor called when promised to set up an appointment, I had to cancel and get a refund for the anticipated estimate because they don't do structural work like replacing subfloors.

+ -1 moreThey came out and left when their job was done. The work turned to be very good. They kept coming until it was just right. They went above and beyond. If one needs appliances or need something, they need to call the manager John McMurtry. He will keep doing whatever a customer needs to be done and keep doing until it is done to their satisfaction. I paid $400 for the sales and installation.
Description of Work: Lowes did a cleanup and loosened the screw of the dishwasher door because it was tight on the 7th of February. They installed the dishwasher and it was a part of the purchase.

Description of Work: Bought new door to be installed. Installer was to call in the next 2 days. After day 4 and no call had to contact the store again to remind them. I had also had a bad experience with having carpet and flooring being installed. This store does not seem to have very good independent contractors and I would not recommend them for that. I also had a dishwasher installed and all over the store on every dishwasher was a sign that said 2 day installation. After purchasing I was told 5 days. I had to get a manager who also tried to say the 2 day was a goal? I pointed out the signs did not say that and after some firm actions ( I requested to have the sale canceled) I got the 2 day. Prices, quality, and staff seem great. Sub contractors are not dependable and do poor work!

+ 0 moreThey called at 0800 to tell us they would be delayed due to loading the truck. They arrived at 0900 and got right to work. One was working on replacing the doors and the other three started removing all of the windows in the house. By 1700, they were down to three windows to seal and one door left to hang. They cleaned up and were finshed by 1800.
Description of Work: Replaced all windows and storm doors on house. 14 windows & 3 doors. Their contractor removed all of the existing windows and doors and replaced them in one day. They had four people working the job and all were friendly and knew what they were doing.

+ -1 moreLowes installers were real good. The only problem I had was that the carpeting was late and the people installing it were late. Otherwise the installation went well. The carpet does not have any tucks or bubbles. I would recommend these people to anyone.
Description of Work: I had Lowes install carpeting throughout my house. They used a quality carpeting and backing. The whole job took about three days.

+ -1 moreI was very happy with the work Lowes did. Although a little pricey, their quality of work was definitely worth it. The installer was polite, professional and accurate; there isn't a single detectable air leak. I'm very happy with the new door and I'd recommend others try them.

+ 0 moreOne thing I really appreciate about Lowes is that they clean up well after themselves. They are very professional when they are here. The estimate is always right on. They finish the job in a timely manner. We have had them do many other things for us.

+ -1 moreI got everything I expected and maybe more. Lowe's said they would be here at 11 am. Well, they were probably loading the door off the truck by 11:02. It was a first-class experience. I never used Lowe's before for such a major purchase. I will again.
Description of Work: I purchased an Arcadia door, a sliding glass door that opens to the patio, from Lowe's. The store arranged for the installation.
