Description of Work: Went over my house insurance policy with me, explained exactly what each thing did or did not do, including examples. She was very knowledable. I have always wanted a clean copy & now I finally have one and Ifeel comfortable with my insurance now.

Description of Work: The technician added 2 pounds of coolant, replaced the start capacitor, and inspected the rest of the cooling system. He was friendly, thorough, and competent. Recommended!

Description of Work: They came in twice. Once thermocouple was replaced for 350 dollars. They had to come back again in a month and charged us 250 dollars for a wire that was lose. 80 $ diagnostics and 140 $ for the minimum amount of work that they did. It seems excessive esp since they had just come a month ago. Overall they were pleasant but seems they overcharged the second time.

Description of Work: I called Interstate late evening 8/25/2011 because my AC was not cooling at all. A repair man was here the next morning. It was determined that I needed a new AC but the repair made a temporary repair until a new AC could be installed. Friday a salesman came to my home, answered all my questions. Based on the saleman's answers and recommendation, I was able to make an informed decision regarding what I needed and could afford. The following Monday, a new heat and air conditioning unit was installed. Both the heat and AC units have performed to my expectations plus my monthly electric bill is significatly reduced. The Interstate people, across the board, were professional and very helpful.

Description of Work: Installed new air-conditioner and re-installed existing heater. As with many homes with older systems several modifications had to be made in order to install new equipment, these modifications were made without additional cost. Our furnace was 1 to 2 yrs old and had been incorrectly installed by another company to avoid making some modifications, Interstate corrected these items and re-installed the furnace correctly. The wiring cable was burned out and a new weather proof insulated cable was installed along with a new box and re-routed to be safer. A new filter box was installed with a high performance washable filter. All was done in a timely professional manner taking about 12 hrs. The installers did not leave until the job was completed. Good follow up to check on how the system was functioning and if we were satisfied.

Description of Work: I spoke with this company about giving me a bid to fix my a/c unit installed by another contractor. The first service call, the technician was supposed to arrive at 8am and I got a call at 8:15 that he was leaving the shop. He arrived aprox 20 minutes later. He arrived and made sure I could pay the $79 and then went on to tell him that I was describing was an installation issue and not a service issue so one of the installers needed to come out. I setup another appointment with the company, arranged to be off of work and then got a call an hour after they were supposed to arrive that they weren't going to make it. I inquired as to why and was told something came up. I asked if they would be able to make it that day, and I was informed they were busy finishing another job and that's why the couldn't make it, so no.

Description of Work: Fixed heater flue as it was put together improperly in the attic. I scheduled an estimate, but the technician fixed the problem during this appointment! Great service and thank you so much. I will use this company again.
