Interstate Heating & Air Conditioning

The wiring in my house is super old. The wires had disintegrated and sparked. It was nothing major. It was good. I found them off of Angie’s List.

It was a good service. It is working but we keep it setting low so the bills are not so high. They were nice. We didn't compare their prices. They finished in a timely manner. I referred them to my friend down the road.

We were very happy with their service. They had very friendly service and they were very knowledgeable.

Everyone we have done business with has been very good. The service is good and I have no complaints.

It was kind of high so I didn't use them. They seem pleasant. The price was probably fair, it's just more than what I was willing to spend at the moment. They came out pretty quickly. Maybe I would use them, I'm not sure.

They have been okay. The price was $59 a unit, but then there was a rebate from the city where we got $20 off of each unit if we had them serviced. So it ended up being $39 a unit with the rebate. They have always been punctual when they have come. They came out before and gave me a second opinion when I needed it. They didn’t charge me to do that. I have never been dissatisfied with the services they have given me. When the guy came, I can't remember what it was, but something happened. He didn’t turn something back on or do something when he came to do the maintenance. So I had to call them back to let them know. They sent someone back right away. In fact, it might have been the same guy that they just sent back that same day not too long after he had left. That would be the only one thing, but everybody can make a mistake. They corrected it right away. The price is probably typical. I don’t think they overcharged me or undercharged me.

They were fine. The technician called me personally a few different times and gave me good descriptions that was going on. It was for a rental property so I haven't seen it in a while.

They were excellent. I also bargained with them and got 12 extra inches of the paint blown in the insulation of my attic. They have a reliable system so that I need not worry about. I also signed a annual contract with them for maintenance. For that, they call me a couple of months ahead for an appointment.

They were fantastic. In fact, we've recommended them to other people. All I know is the air conditioning wasn't working before, they came and they fixed it. It was like a 40-year-old system so they fixed it and it works great now. We've used them more than once now.

The service was okay; it was expensive but okay. We had some issues with it; they did not do it correctly and had to come back three or four times till they finally got it right. They gave us a service contract for two years so they come out twice a year. The air conditioner is nice.

They were very good and prompt. They came after hours and they were clean. They were very courteous and patient with my husband. They provided the service probably a year and a half or two years ago and I have no idea how much the service cost.

I like them a lot and here is the thing. They are straight forward. I wanted them put in a home humidifier and we couldn't get the humidity where we wanted it. It just was not working properly. I have that experience with similar other companies. I called Interstate and I said look I have got a background in science and so I know perfectly well that unit should keep the inside of my house dripping wet if that is the way I want it and there is no reason why it is not working and they have must have made four or five trips out here. The last trip they brought the manager of the firm and a technical representative of the people who build the humidifier and went to the . and they found something that nobody had found before . They were very persistent. As long as I was interested they were not ready to give up on it. They are probably good as any company but I really like their attitude and they stand by their work and when they discovered that problem they were prompt to fix it never had any problem since. Overall a good experience. If you have a problem they will work with you until it is solved. They said if they could not get it working to my satisfaction they would take it out and I said I do not want you to take it out. I want you to make it work. They stayed with it and ultimately they made it work so it worked out. Price is reasonable. They were very conscientious about following up with it until it was working right. Excellent quality. Excellent responsiveness they were fair to get back to me within a day or two. Punctuality pretty good. The thing that impressed me about their professionalism is you know they understood my question and they understood the physics of the problem. They really understood the relationship amongst inside and outside temperature, inside and outside humidity, humidity efficiency, air flow and stuff like that and I did too. I have a background in science and I could run the numbers and see how it was supposed to be working. They were very receptive to that. When they didn't understand the problem they were professional enough to know they didn't understand the problem and they were professional enough to know they had a problem and they were professional enough to stick with it until they solved the problem.

Our experience with them has been very good. We have used them for probably three years now. They had been about as prompt as they could be. They are very professional, clean, and respectful. I would highly recommend them. We pay a membership fee of $14.95 a month; that covers them coming out once in the spring and once in the fall. They check the air conditioner and the boiler in the spring. In the fall, they check the heater and all just to make sure it is safe, clean, and comes back on. If we do have a repair, we get like a 10% to 20% discount on like the parts and labor which we have used a few times now. You also get access to quicker emergency service than just any person that calls them. Air conditioning is expensive anyway, but we never felt like we were gouge or anything with the price.

They were quick and they cleaned up everything everyday. If I needed anything done, they were fully accommodating to whatever I needed. The service went pretty well. I would definitely use them again in the future if need be.

They just come out and fix it. They're not exceptional. They just do their job and leave. I haven't had any bad experiences with them at all.

They are not cheap but they are not over expensive. The worst part is I have to call them at all. The best part of that is they are up front.

I used them for a while. They are fairly good, I guess. The contract was supposed to give me a 15-percent break on any maintenance. I had some maintenance done on my air conditioner and it seemed like there was no real discount. It was not worth it to me. My problem with them is I think they overcharge a bit.

My experience with them has been really good. They are quiet, they do good service, and they are clean. Some heating and air guys that come look all nasty and grouchy but these guys are not like that; they are very professional.

They are absolutely wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I have just been very pleased with them. With regard to price, we did a little bit of checking around, but not much. We were just so impressed, and I think we made a good choice. I feel that if we go cheaper, we are not getting the best quality anyway, so I'm all about quality. Always immediate callbacks; they always do their best when we call to get someone on the phone right away. They are always there on time and always there when they say they are going to be.

My experience with them was very good. It was a very good service arrangement and very efficiently done. The reason we didn't use them last year was because we understood the company has changed hands, so I would not speak for the person. I haven't had the experience with them. It was all top-notch. They were here when they said they would be here. The service was effectively done.

I did an Angie’s List deal with them. It was pretty routine and nothing stands out. No complaints. There was nothing extra and it was just the deal.

There wasn’t any extra charge for the inspection unless they found something that needed to be fixed. They were fine. They were neat and polite. The only thing I didn’t care for was they try to sell you things that went a lot that sometimes I thought unnecessary. I don’t plan to use them again. I don’t have anything against them particularly but I’m not going to use a monthly membership plan.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It didn't turn out really well. It wasn't a real good experience. They weren't punctual and it was hard to get hold of them to get them to commit to actually come out and do anything. When they finally did come, they pretty much told us they couldn't help us. We purchased the service and then they told us they couldn't help us. They did a couple of little things but nothing that really worked.
