The service representative was punctual, polite, knowledgeable, and professional. I was positively impressed.

He did a very good job when he was there working. The next day after the work was done, they called and asked if he did a good job and if everything was working OK.

I would say it did go fine. I thought it was a little costly, but didn't want to mess with gas. The had the job done quick and efficiently. I would use them again in the future.

Installers were experienced and very pleasant, they explained everything and did a few minor things that were not required. The owners of the company Kai Harwood.

They were early! We were overall impressed.

I chose Interstate over two other comparable competing quotes because I felt that they did the most thorough inspection of my system (> 1 hr.), including roof and breaker box. Their representative (Kai, who is also the owner) was personable and professional. He worked very hard to find an air handler that would fit in my tiny closet on top of the hot water heater and that was also environmentally friendly. He explained to me exactly what needed to be done in plain English. The installation was scheduled for a Monday; the condenser, line set, and digital thermostat were all installed then. The line set had to be run through my upstairs neighbors' unit, but apparently that went more smoothly than they expected. The crane showed up on time and swapped out the old and new condensers in under 15 minutes. However, the air handler was not available (owing to a problem with the manufacturer shipping) until Wednesday, so they had to come back again to install it. That meant that I spent two days with no cooling; fortunately, it wasn't exceptionally hot outside. The air handler fit into the closet like a glove; I estimate there is less than 1/2" of space on any side. They carefully welded on the refrigerant lines, hooked up the digital thermostat, and programmed it for me. Because of the delay, Kai gave me a $500 discount on the installation, which was more than enough to make up for my having to take two half-days off of work. Their service personnel (Adam and David) were also very friendly and knowledgeable about heat pumps. They vacuumed up after the job was done and instructed me on how to program my new digital thermostat. The system has performed beautifully since then. Other than the minor hiccup with the air handler delivery, I was very happy with the service I received from Interstate Heating & A/C and would gladly recommend them to others.

These guys are great! I called at 8:00 in the morning with a broke A/C and they were here at 10:00 (on a very busy day for them in June). I was up and running in no time. I hope the technician, I think his name was Scott, gets to read this as I appreciated his input. I'm going to have a new furnace installed this fall and these guys will probably do it.

My husband and I came home from work on a Friday evening to find that our heater was not working. No warm air was coming through our vents. It was too late to do anything that night so we decided to try our luck on Saturday morning. That morning, I placed a call to Interstate at about 9:30 AM. They indicated they would have someone out at around lunch time. We got a call from them at 12:30 and had someone at our house by 1:00 PM. By 2:00 PM, our heater was repaired! We were so thankful b/c an ice storm and temps below freezing were fore casted for the next few days. We were very pleased with the quick response time and with the work performed. We will definitely use Interstate again!

I reviewed Angie's List and located Interstate Heating & A/C. They were in my area and had received several good reviews. I contacted them at 8am in the morning and requested they send someone out ASAP (it was 45 degrees in my house). They said I would be the third stop for their tech that morning, who should arrive at my house after 10am. The tech (Scott) arrived at 10:30am. He checked out the furnace (which is 18 years old) and quickly found out the control circuit board was fried. Due to the age of my furnace, they didn't have the part in stock. It was ordered and arrived later the next day. Thankfully, he was able to rig my heater to work temporarily while waiting for this part. The part was installed at 8am the next morning and the furnace works perfectly. He was very professional and seemed very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this repair service. I will definitely be calling them for any future A/C or heating services.
