These guys were great. We had a little mixup when I initially called them for an appointment. One of thier customer service reps said that there was an additional $75 charge for the service and i told her that that was not on the site when I ordered it and if that was the case to cancel the service. She then told me she would have management call me in the morning because this was late on the weekend. They caled me in the morning and appologized that there was a big mixup and the girl I talked to had mistaken and rescheduled my service and without me asking at all offered me a free furnace tune-up for the inconvenience it may have cause. This was verry profesional and although there was a mistake made they made up for it without me having to say anything. Also I called them late at night on a weekend which I wasnt expecting to get an answer but they were there and scheduled my appointment.I highly recomend this company and I would use them again.

The temperature outside was over 110 and I was desperate for relief. Everyone I had any interaction with at Interstate was very friendly and helpful. The service man was prompt and he explained all of my options clearly. He was able to get my system going again, even though parts of it are really ancient, and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely call them again the next time I need service.

Over the past year and a half, I have had 3 service men to the house trying to figure out what is wrong with my air conditioning unit. Finally, Interstate found the problem and fixed it. Other service folks kept saying that my unit was 'doing the best that it can' on our 113 degree days. Turns out, we have a drainage problem and the outside unit was turning off so it won't overflow the drain on the inside unit. The air would continue to blow so - inside the house we thought things were fine. This is the only service that inspected everything thoroughly enough to find the water standing in the water line. They drained the water, put something in the line to help clean up the mineral build up so it shouldn't continue to drain slow. However, he also said if we had any problem again that he would come out for free. He was the first to offer to come back for free if it didn't fix the problem. He then noticed that the external unit was showing some wear and tear due to turning off and on a lot over this past year. He tested the parts, showed me what he found, and recommended a change that could be done now or we could wait until something broke again. He let me decide - no heavy selling job. The young man, Sonny, was respectful, kind, communicated well, and mentioned a couple of times that "This isn't rocket science". Which made me laugh. He really wants to do a good job.

It went smoothly, he was aware of the deal and took care of completing the tuneup and charging my freon quickly, but didn't rush anything. Even though it was a 'simple' service, time was invested and he was thorough. He explained the current level my unit was running at and whether or not it was effective. He temped my air coming from vents and addressed things I could do to better the,ir output. Great service!!

I had my home AC serviced and I also had them service the AC at my rent house. The man who came was very friendly and efficient. He came when he was scheduled. I would recommend them.

Had a problem with my AC. Called interstate and they were prompt, professional, and courteous. The price was a little more than I expected, but I was satisfied with their work and now the AC is working great.

I really like this company and it's crew!! When you call them They say "How can I make you smile today?" sounds silly but i have no doubt that they will put a smile on your face. From the onset of my phone call to the repair that was made I was very pleased. The repairman check and re-checked everything before he left.

The complete job went exceptionally well. We were pleased with the time and patience the serviceman took with our job. I have never had an air conditioner service job as good as this one.

Was burned out capacitor and the fan has somehow sliced through the insulation on the electric wires that feed the fan. Excellent work, pricing fully explained in advance. I will use Interstate from now on. Signed up for their service plan to receive savings on future maintenance visits and repairs.

Got estimates from 4 companies and went with Interstate due to reviews on Angies List. Salesman met the price that I wanted and I got 10 years parts and labor on my entire system. Went with an Amana system, asx14 3.5 ton 14 seer a/c and the complete amh8 heating unit. Install went fine, maybe could have cleaned up in the attic a little better. Problem a few months later as the compressor quit on the a/c. Interstate came right out and replaced it, gave me a $500 check for my "No-Frustration Guarantee" as stated in their warrranty and a free year of "Silver Club Membership". So they did in fact "walk the walk". To my great surprise, with the weather being 100 plus for so long now, my electric usage did in fact go down about 40% as compared to last year at same time with same weather. The only thing I don't like about the amana a/c is that it's noisy. Nosier in fact than the 15 year old RUUD 10 seer that it replaced. Would go with these guys again as I have been pleasantly surprised with their technicians. Overall better experience than I had anticipated . . .

I had previously used a coupon from Angie's List for the $44 tune up + 1lb of freon - about 2 weeks ago. At the time, the service tech told me what bad shape my a/c is in (it is) and how much a possible fix would be (around $700+). He said the unit was very clean, and it was amazing that it had lasted over 21 years, but it was only cooling about 11 degrees cooler than the air going in, and they look for around 20 degrees difference. The numbers he was getting from the unit were all over the place, and he said there might be air in the lines. I opted not to have any service done at the time, as i'm about to close on a new house. He did not pressure me to do anything costly. Yesterday, my house was 94 degrees when i got home from work. I checked the unit and it didn't seem to be frozen or totally dead. It still blew air, but hot air. I turned the unit off, spoke with their after-hours answering service who was even able to book me an appointment for the very next day. Today, after looking over my unit for about 5 minutes, the service tech found a damaged wire, brought it to me, and said he would replace it for free. He explained how it got damaged (compressor pulling so much power), stressed that this was a very temporary fix, and went over options with me. I did not expect such wonderful service since i've always heard horror stories about people being gouged by HVAC companies, and was especially glad that I had the same technician both times. I really appreciate the no-pressure approach, as well as the binder of prices. It made it very easy to compare different options. I will definitely use them again!

WOW! from the inital contact from Diana to schedule the appointment to the tech arrival. Cliff arrived and was extremely efficient. He explained the problem with my A/C (I was a victim of a BAD contractor after the tornado) Although I will need a new A/C system, he did not try to sell me one on the spot. He gave me several options. I selected. I will definitely call them to replace it. I was shocked to find such an honest company. I believe Cliff is an "earth bound" angel.PLEASE do NOT hesitate to hire this company, I promise you will not be disappointed.

The company called within an hour of me buying the deal and we scheduled the appointment. I had to reschedule the appointment twice. They were kind and patient, there was not even a hint of irritation. The technician arrived on time. He put little booties over his shoes and was careful not to track anything into my home. Most of his work was in the attic and the temperature was 104°. He worked professionally. He reported that my system was well maintained and completed the paperwork. Shortly after he left, I could tell the different in the cooling of my home.

I called the company at about 7am. I got right through to a friendly person that made an appointment for 3pm. I got a call at 3:15 that a service rep was on the way. Sonny was professionally dressed and had protective wear for his shoes when he came in. He listened to my concerns, diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me a exact price for the repairs, not an estimate. The repairs were completed quickly and efficiently. He then checked the outside unit and checked the freon. He offered a maintenance program and other services, but was not pushy about it. This is one of the best experiences I have had with a repair.

I bought their Big Deal on Angie's List - $44 a unit for tune-up, safety check & 1 lb freon. Since I have two units, I bought two deals. They had done a wonderful job with their fall check-up on my furnaces, so I jumped at the chance to have them check my a/c units. I bought the deal on a Monday and Lisa called within two hours of purchase to set up a time. Charles came out 8 a.m. THE NEXT DAY!! What I love about this company is their professionalism. They have professional dress, drive marked vehicles and are the nicest people you want to meet. They cover their feet when in the house and are superior in their work efforts. I was not charged any more than the $44 per unit. There are a couple things to watch for, but I appreciate knowing this. I would not hesitate in calling them for future service and plan on having them check out my furnaces again this winter (my units are 8 years old, so I have them checked every year for my peace of mind). I highly recommend this company.

Never felt comfortable with technicians sent out. I always felt they were trying to add to the bill. Prices for parts where higher than companies used prior.er

It was an excellent experience. They contacted us for an appointment after purchasing an Angie's List deal for A/C tune-up. We were able to schedule someone to come by the next day. Smooth operation. The technician was extremely nice, and very thoughtful. We told him not to worry about putting on the shoe protector covers when coming in the house, but he put them on anyway because he didn't want to chance getting the floor dirty. He was very professional and took time to explain everything he did. I was quite impressed with the representative. I thought the prices were a little expensive, but after comparing online to other places, it was right on par. They are very upfront about their prices so you know what something will cost. My only concern, that I didn't express, was that we paid $44 for the A/C tune up, then purchased a motor with installation for another nearly $400. It would be nice if they would have deducted the $44 from the overall price since I think the tune up would have come with the motor installation. But honestly, I don't know because I didn't bring it up and the tune up might have been extra anyway. We will definitely call them again in the future if the need arises, and feel very good about recommending them to others.

Everyone was very courteous and professional, from the receptionist to the service tech. Quick appointment was easy to get and they called to confirm the time on the day before. The technician cleaned our system out...it was a mess from having dogs and dirt nearby...it took him a couple of hours. We used our Angie's discount so it only cost $50! There was no mess left behind and the technician made some recommendations for our system but didn't push. I really liked them and will use them again.

They were really good. They went out their way to accommodate us and all last summer we had trouble keeping our house cool but this summer it’s been like a refrigerator. I have no basis of comparison but I have to say their price was fair. They were very responsive and professional.
