Lee Hudson did an excellent job in replacing the baseboard.He was meticulous in all his work and took extra effort to ensure I was pleased with his craftsmanship. His work matched the excellent quality of woodwork present throughout the library. He restored the damaged area to its original quality.

Lee was great to work with. I had a hard time finding someone who would could repair the flooring and the door. Most contractors told me they would need to take up my entire floor just to repair the few pieces. Lee communicated promptly, did an excellent job (he's a perfectionist) and cleaned up afterwards. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it. Would definitely use him again.

First, Lee and his helper John were very prompt and very professional inside our home. They explained everything they were going to do and kept their presence in the home to a minimum. The job took about 6 hours, as was originally discussed on Lee's first visit when he did his bid. The woodworking done was as good as or actually, better than the original work.Very competent, very professional, and both were very courteous. We would use them again if the need arises.

I initially contacted Lee on Angie's List on February 17th. He answered a day later. I told him that I would call him. Well, 5 days later he writes me to ask me if I still needed his assistance. He was very professional and personable. I was very busy at the time and apologized to him. Anyway, to make a long story short....through back and forth calls and texts (just a few), we made arrangements for him to come out to the house to take a look at what I wanted him to do. Even though it was somewhat late on a week night (about 8:30 - he was coming back from a college class), he was energized and excited about the challenging task. He accepted it with enthusiasm and asked alot of questions. We worked out some details and he left. Through a few more calls and texts, we agreed on a date and time when he could come to the house and get the work done. About the day or two before, he called and told me that the cost of the materials was $98 and he was going to pick them up at ProBuild, where he gets his materials. I was to call ProBuild and talk to the contractor service guy there and give him my credit card information, in order to pay for the materials. I did that and then called or texted Lee to let him know the materials were paid for and that he could pick them up when he got the chance. Him and his worker came out to the house on a Sunday morning (about 10:15 a.m.). They brought all of their tools and all of the materials. They took out the oven and started measuring. Lee is very proficient in this trade and it shows in the degree of accuracy he wants to attain before cutting any wood. He explained what he was going to do to me, before starting the work. He used my garage to set up a cutting area (the wind was fairly gusty that day) and so the door between the garage and the house was constantly open. Our two dogs eventually found that open door and took off, running into the neighborhood. Immediately, both Lee and his worker were apologizing about leaving the door open and wanted to help bring the dogs back to the house. That action told me they were not only professional but heartfelt and compassionate. When the drawer was installed, they showed me how to take the drawer off (if it's ever needed) and showed me the new window sill. Lee also took the time to explain to me to paint the new window sill before caulking it and how (and where) to caulk it. He also told me to be very careful when staining the drawer so the stain does not get into the side pulls of the drawer, as the stain gunks up the bearings and the drawer won't slide out or in anymore. He didn't make me feel like I was dumb as he was explaining this to me. He shows pride in his work and it shows. He is a hard worker and I definitely will use him again (to install a couple of doors).

Mr. Hudson build a faux cabinet to conceal a storm shelter. He came out for an initial consultation and was very friendly. It took approximately three visits to complete the work from start to finish. After he was finished, he gave us a recommendation for a painter. We were very pleased with the end result.

Lee hudson is motivated to get his job done. He is a nice honest man. I plan on having him come give an estaminet as soon as the weather clears up.

Working with Lee has been a great experience! He is extremely knowledgeable about his trade and is very meticulous about the quality of his work. After Lee came to give me my quote we went back and forth for several months since I was having a hard time finding the time to paint the baseboards prior to installation. Every time I had to call him to ask a question regarding the project he would always call me back within just a few hours and he never made me feel bad for continuously having to push the date back. One of my favorite things about working with Lee was that he acknowledged my budget and gave me advice on how to keep my project within my budget. Now that my trim is up I could not be happier. Its like my living room received a facelift. I am so happy I hired Lee and plan on using him again for a few other projects I have. If you decide to go with Lee you will not regret it.

Due to a water leak our flooring in 3 rooms needed to be replaced. Because of guests arriving for Christmas we were anxious to get the work completed by December 23. Lee and his helpers worked late every night to get our job done on time. Lee is a craftsman who takes great pride in the quality of his work. They took good care of our property and produced a quality result in the time we required.

It went very well. Lee Hudson is meticulous and painstaking in his work. He measures carefully, conserves the use of raw materials( I appreciate that, very little waste of high quality and expensive material I purchased) and his workmanship is excellent. Let me take that a bit further, Lee Hudson is a craftsman that takes pride in his work. Flaws that I would never have noticed (induced by a poor piece of lumber for example), he corrected telling me that it just was not right. He works late into the evening and carefully cleans up after himself. Let me say that again because if you are like me and seriously sick of contractors who do shoddy work and leave the mess for you to clean up--you will never have that problem with Lee. If you are reading this and think I have been too generous with my praise, let me assure you I am a highly critical consumer with no patience for poor attitude and/or poor performance. Mr Hudson earned every bit of my respect through his work and I doubt I could be more pleased.

Lee was prompt on returning my initial call and showed up when he said he would. Punctuality is must to me and was just that. His quote was right on and much cheaper than expected. When the time to fix the job came, he showed up ready to go and got started on it. As I said, it was a nightmare of a job (at least to me) and his skills really showed in my stairs. He matched the trim down the side of the stairs exactly as the old one was. I know it wasn't easy too. He stayed all day from 10am to 10pm to finish the job and make sure it was done right. He also repaired a small price for our kitchen cabinets and installed a door thingy mabober and didn't really worry about charging me for that. He was absolutely top notch and professional- oh. His daughter is really good with Dogs too- she kept them entertained all day long. We will be using his services directly after Christmas to build a custom wall bookshelf. Dude is awesome for real! For the doors he was very detailed in repairing the areas around the door and then was very diligent in both hanging the door to perfection and then installing the trim. For the bookcase/mantle he went over his design ideas and was unique in coming up with details that brought a "wow" factor to the piece. We had a rough covering of stone over the fireplace and the detail put into the cut to fit the shape of the stone impresses anyone that sees the work. I have seen custom carpentry in higher end new homes and his work rivals any out there.

He seems like a nice guy but: - It took 2 days to get him to answer the phone - He was supposed to show up on Sat, 1 Nov, but he was a no show - Called him today to find out what happened, and guess what, he's not answering the phone He has lots of good ratings but he has either changed, or is just too overwhelmed to provide the quality service that he used to.

I can't say enough about Lee's work ethic, attention to detail, and skill in woodworking craftsmanship. He offers quality work for a good price and is fair and honest. Our home construction project was quite involved and Lee played a large role, creating cabinets, drawers, stairs, trim and crown moulding, handrails, and handmade newel posts. His follow-up is fantastic....we had just a couple of items that required him to come back to tweak them to ensure perfection and he was more than willing. All in all, we are completely satisfied: The finished product is very beautiful and we couldn't be more pleased

He came out to do the estimate, and while he was here he adjusted the bottom of the door frames to close some large gaps and that completely fixed one of the 5 doors. The other 4 doors he came back with a helper and they removed the door casings, made the doors level & plumb, and adjusted them so the locks worked correctly before replacing the casings. Friends and family had to help me install all the doors in my house due to using a horrible builder and I've lived with it for 2 years. Now with Lee's expertise they are all fixed so I shouldn't have to lose so much on energy bills. I'm glad I found him on this site with the awesome reviews, and he lives up to them. Anytime I need any kind of carpentry assistance he's the one I will call from now on.

Lee Hudson was fantastic. His work was superior and he was very thorough, yet he worked quickly and efficiently. He offered advice when I seemed unsure, presenting several original ideas for some tricky cabinetry and I loved all of them. He was readily available, always returned my calls within a few hours, and punctual. He went and ordered all the materials needed at the least expensive store and I would call the store and pay directly. As a bonus, he is well spoken and respectful. Between his strong work ethic, skill level, punctuality, and intelligence, one would expect his prices to be a little higher, but his prices were extremely reasonable. I plan on using his services again in a few weeks!!

I am completely satisfied with the work Lee Hudson did for us. His professionalism is unsurpassed and the quality of his work is excellent. From the first meeting with Lee, I was very impressed with his professionalism. He was prompt to respond to my initial call. He met us on time at the job site. He carefully explained everything he would be able to do for us and thoroughly answered all of my questions. I leaned heavily on his expertise in many of the details. This is my first time remodeling a home and this house needs a lot of work. He was always available by phone to answer my questions as I shopped around for materials and ordered what was needed for the job. And he completed his work in the time he said he would. Lee definitely demonstrated great skill and competency in his craft. The work he did is excellent. He took no short cuts and completed his work with perfectionism. He did all that we asked him to and more. After I had initially met with Lee to discuss the different tasks and get a quote from him, I realized there were several walls that needed baseboards. When I ordered the wood for the job, I bought extra baseboards. Putting up the baseboards was not apart of the quote that Lee gave me and I didn't mention it to him when he came to do the work. But, he noticed I had ordered replacement baseboards and put them up for me anyways and didn't charge me for the work. I was very pleased to work with him and plan on using him in the future. I highly recommend using Hudson Custom Remodeling & Trim for any job you may have.

He did a fabulous job and we are loving it! He came on weekends and worked around our schedule.

Lee and his two helpers are the hardest working contractors that I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and I've been slowly remodeling my home for nearly three years now. Lee is very trustworthy, and he took the time to show us what his work would look like before he began. Overall, I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We had some difficult things to work around due to some less than stellar work done by a previous contractor, but Lee was able to make it work, and everything turned out great! I give him a hearty recommendation. We're planning a couple of additional projects with him already.

Lee did all of the work in one day. He had two helpers. They all did a very good job. The custom piece Lee created around the bookcase was very well done. You can't see the seems after painting. The door frame was a little off as this is an old house, but Lee was able to adjust the jamb accordingly which isn't easy to do. Very pleased with the work.

The quality of Lee's work is outstanding.....he is meticulous and does more than he has to to get the job done. Lee knows his business, is a terrific carpenter and a quality person. His high degree of intelligence makes him easy to communicate with and a pleaser to br around. We have already asked him to do another project!

Lee showed a little late, but got started after informing us on what would be done and why. The trim was removed entirely, then new moulding went up. Lee caulked it and smoothed out some edges to blend better with existing trim next to area being replaced. He and his worker cleaned up after themselves well. Overall, project seemed to be done in a timely manner. I thought it was a good price and he did a pretty good job matching the style of moulding since our style was no longer available. I would use again due to fair pricing and timeliness of work.

He made a porch swing bed for me from a picture, and it turned out so much better than the picture and than I anticipated. He also leveled and hung the bed, and his price for all of that was very fair. He is so nice, and the guys working with him were great, too. He's professional, dependable, and has a lot of integrity.

Lee responded quickly and set up a time to come and discuss the project. He was very honest and upfront about the variance in costs based on the doors I choose and materials and explained we would need a mason to do the brick work so he couldn't accurately estimate the cost for the project. He was super helpful and very knowledgeable and pointed us in the right direction to get started. I am a new homeowners so this honesty and advice was very much appreciated and I would definitely recommend at least getting an estimate from him!

Trim was built and installed around interior windows of dining/living areas. Lee made suggestions and showed photos from previous jobs to help with ideas for design. Lee did an excellent job and was always punctual. We are very happy with results and would not hesitate to call him again for another project.

did the work in one afternoon, even better than the original construction and it looks wonderful, I will certainly use him again. I could not be happier :)
