Lee was great about visualizing the job and his material order was on the spot. Once he started, he worked until the job was done. It is very functional now and has a very pretty cedar trim.

Lee is incredibly talented, honest, and meticulous. I have a very high attention to detail and usually notice what others miss. Lee's work is simply incredible which is a testament to his mastery of his craft and his attention to every detail. He is fair and honest and works hard to ensure you are satisfied. He thinks through everything from different design options to bundling projects to get you the lowest cost on materials. And I even asked Lee to mentor me a little as I have a desire to become a better carpenter. He took the time to show me everything and explain why he did it (and why you don't want to do a different way). Lee was top notch. He showed up later than he said a few times but a talented professional is often juggling multiple projects and his work and professionalism made it easy to overlook this.

Details are above. He knew exactly what to do when no one else had figured it out. He came over on a day he had guests in his home. He was very punctual and professional.

Went very well. Lee is very professional and does excellent work! He's extremely detail oriented and took the time to make it exactly what we wanted. In addition, he did not make any mess inside the house, and the driveway/garage area where he worked was cleaner after he finished cleaning up than it was when he arrived.

Believe all the great reviews! When I read 'em as I was looking for a remodeler, I wasn't ready to accept at face value what seemed like universally positive comments and consistent A grades. C'mon, no one is that good. But he is!!! Lee Hudson is the kind of craftsman our fathers talked about back in the day while warning us "they don't make 'em like that anymore." :-) Expect a detailed explanation of the steps to be taken, a quote that will be competitive, reasons why he will use the best quality building materials, suggestions about things you may not have considered, and an invoice that matches the quote (with maybe a few extras thrown in at no charge :-).

He arrived on time and very professional. He obviously knows what he's going. The locks are tight and work perfectly. He cleaned up after the job and made sure I was satisfied by inviting me to check the work before I paid him. I would definitely use him again.

My father was a trim carpenter for 40 years and I can say with certainty that Lee is an absolute perfectionist. His work is first class and he was very responsive. He's easy to talk to and explains things very well. He can be trusted in your home. We gave him the garage code and he always texted or called before he entered and after he left the property. He was very courteous to my wife when I wasn't there. Lastly, he always left the place cleaner than before he arrived. He has a very busy schedule so it took slightly longer than we had hoped but it wasn't a problem. His workmanship was so good that I didn't mind. The cost was $1905 for labor plus cost of materials. He put in the order to the supplier and I paid the supplier so he did not profit from materials. Honest guy...great carpenter!

Lee completed two projects for me. I talked with several companies as well. I have to say he is the best contractor to work with. Lee gave me some good suggestions to change my project design, which fits my purpose better with cheaper cost. He is very honest. He tried to use my old material as much as he can. He worked during weekend and was accomplished on time. We are pleased with the quality of his work.

Working with Lee was an excellent experience, we highly recommend him! He was available, communicative, and showed up as promised. His craftsmanship was phenomenal; the posts we had him install were manufactured, but he added trim with custom routing that helped make them look outstanding and unique. I drove around and looked at other homes, you can tell a real craftsman did ours.

The job was little out of the ordinary but it was accomplished exactly to our specifications. He was professional and the work was accomplished on time.

Our home was built in the 1920s and still has the original woodwork throughout. Our window sashes are thick, solid wood, and have a slight bevel on the bottom and a design around the glass. We have dry rot in some places. Lee helped us pick a good replacement wood and plan incremental repairs within our budget. First he brought by a sample for us to test with our stain to make sure it was a close enough match. He bought the lumber, cut it to size, planed it to the right thickness, matched the original wood's angle, routed it to match the existing style throughout the house, secured it, and sanded everything smooth. He came out on a Saturday and did a great job. It looks awesome. We are very pleased and expect to hire him again to do the other windows.

We were in need of cabinet doors for an open shelf pantry. Lee met with us and explained what he could have built by a cabinet company and install for us. He ordered, picked up and delivered the cabinet doors built by the cabinet company and provided the extra needed supplies to complete the job. Lee was very professional and his attention to detail was outstanding. He cleaned up behind his work to an excellent standard. We are very pleased with his work and have plans to use him for future jobs. Thanks Lee!

Lee did a wonderful job recreating the same crown molding that is in the living room of our historic home. He worked all one day installing it, using special plaster fastenings. He is a true craftsman, and I would recommend him highly.

Lee was very responsive at first request and was very resourceful when parts were obsolete and hard to find. He was not only resourceful in pursuing a solution, he was also a fine craftsman in his handiwork. He kept us informed during the process and was very courteous and careful in our home.

Lee was the right business/ person to call as I was worried about the tasking I needed done. He returned my call promptly and was very professional and helpful. Since I travel a lot, we worked out a flexible schedule. He gave me places to go and parts and prices to buy as I had them delivered to the house. He knocked out ALL of the projects the next week. The price was very good and it really helped by me being patient and understanding of his schedule as he is going to school as well. The biggest project was having to rip out the front screen door and trim as the wind had practicall ripped and twisted the screen door completed off. His suggestions and inputs were spot on, as he beefed up the trim and replaced the front door as well. The front gate ( farm fence) had pulled out of the main hinges and the main post brackets had rotted out, leaving it bent and useless. In conclusion, I think being patient and flexible with my schedule and letting him work weekends, after hours made this a great example of the perfect match for customer/worker. He did not want a dime up front, which showed me his integrity. I did purchase the materials myself, have them delivered. I am not related to this guy nor have never met him before. I do wish he had a truck or van so as to pick stuff up, as my four door sedan couldn't handle the door (2), cedar trim 8-12 ft sections, etc.... That's the only non positive thing I can say. I will rely on him for any other things I need done. A solid "A" for a grade from me.
