Description of Work: I trusted Lee and John from the first time I met them. I had no bad feelings at all having them in my home. All work was left sanded meticulously and painter ready. |Even though my bar was far from square he creatively used the trim to make it square to the eye--he was insightful and very skillful! He would look for ways to save me $50 here and there if he could but never was willing to sacrifice quality. |Lee worked with the existing cabinetry I had and built custom drawer pullouts and Trash pullout. He also trimmed out my bar and put up a bead board back splash. |All his work exceeded my expectations. He was very eager to please. I would definitely use him again. |

Description of Work: Lee takes pride in his work and is experienced. His suggestions were very useful. He has good equipment and is relatively punctual. He also coordinated well with the painter/stainer. He built some shelves, reset two doors, and did some minor adjustments. I would definitely use him again

Description of Work: I contacted Lee and asked for an estimate on trim carpentry, woodwork finish/refinish, tile and drywall. Lee contacted me and we set an appointment and Lee was on time and very professional. As it turns out, Lee is a master carpenter and does carpentry only. Lee was able to recommend someone for me to contact to get stain and finish estimates from and did recommend where I could get materials. There is no doubt in my mind that Lee can do great carpentry and I respect his choice not to finish woodwork, do tile repair, provide estimates that include materials. However, I am not a Contractor and was looking for someone to give me a complete price including tile, stain, drywall repair, etc.... I will definitely call Lee if I need a master carpenter in the future and I have time to interview the other contractors as well and get my own materials. I don't think anyone could go wrong calling Lee if they need carpentry work.

+ 2 moreLee was very conscientious, thorough and easy to work with. The job took twice as long as he intended, but that could be due to it being his first job on his own and trying to work another job. Lee is very courteous, honest and willing to work with client on ideas. Because he did all of the labor, including using table saw and other cabinetry creation materials, in our garage, our electric bill doubled for the month he did the work. Since he didn't have an account with materials store, I had to meet him there and purchase the materials with my credit card and wait for it to be loaded, which was a hassle. If Lee has improved his business network and is able to purchase materials on his own and work during the weekday, I would hire him again.
Description of Work: Design, create and install new closet system in bedroom, new cabinetry in bathroom.

+ 2 moreI am very pleased with my doors and cabinets. Lee takes alot of extra time and care to make sure his finished product is of superior quality that will last for many years. He is very honest and works hard to make sure the customer is happy and completely satisfied. Initially, I didn't realize that Lee does not finish the wood products, so be advised that you will need a furniture painter/finisher to complete your job. Also, just a side note: Lee tends to start his work day a little later than some contractors and often work late in the evening. I will definitely use him again. He does FANTASTIC work. He is trustworthy and a great guy.
Description of Work: Lee did an excellent job installing new interior doors throughout my home and also building a new bathroom vanity cabinet. He also advised me on a couple of related projects to help me get final finished products I wanted.

HE ALWAYS KEEPS HIS APPOINTMENTS AND SHOWS UP WHEN HE SAYS HE WILL BE THERE OR HE CALLS. HE WORKED EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS MOST OF THE TIME WHICH WORKED OUT WELL FOR ME. I HAVE USED LEE FOR MANY SMALLER PROJECTS AND WILL CON'T TO USE HIM. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
Description of Work: LEE MADE A WONDERFUL CRAFT TABLE WITH CUBIES ON BOTH SIDES. I GAVE HIM A PICTURE OF A POTTERY BARN TABLE I LIKED AND HE BUILT IT! IT IS PERFECT!

We are very please with Lee's work and will use Lee again if and when we need custom work done. I would recommend Lee to my family and friends for their wood working needs.

+ -1 moreLee did an excellent job hanging the doors perfect and level. The trim is perfectly square and looks great. He showed me pictures of some cabinetry work he had done, & I would use him in the future for this kind of work.
Description of Work: Lee hung 10 interior doors, 2 bi-folds, and 1 exterior door. He installed new hardware and molding/trim around both sides of the doors. He used insulation around the exterior door to the garage and installed a new threshold.

We met within the next few days to choose the wood and Lee began the work the next day. Lee was very professional, very creative with making what I invisioned come to life. Lee takes great pride in his work and leave no detail unattended. His prices are very reasonable and he is the nicest person. I will be using him again and again for other projects that I've wanted done in my home. You give him a brief description of what you want and he can sketch a beautiful idea right there. I look forward to saving up for my next project and having Lee make my house beautiful!
Description of Work: Lee constructed a new avenue for my dryer vent that everyone else said couldn't be done, he did it better than I even could have imagined it. He built a step and ran my vent through my garage back into the laundry room so that I could stack my washer and dryer to make more room. Also, he built a frame for my large picture window with crown moulding and hung my curtain rod in a custom fashion that I love.

Description of Work: Lee installed the front door and hardware. The door is plumb and well installed but the carpentry work around the door (both inside and outside) are where his abilities shined. What a great job on this door! Thanks so much. The craftsmanship is superb. I joined Angie's List because I had been burned pretty badly by a few repairmen in the past. I am glad I hired this man to do the carpentry and purchased the materials seperately. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others and hope I am able to hire him again soon.

His price was very reasonable, it was lower than any other bids secured, he was able to design what we wanted with very little to use as reference.
