Very professional organization, primary contact was Kenny Thornhill and he was a pleasure to deal with. My roof was damaged during the May 2013 hail storms, Kenny met with my insurance company's adjuster on-site, they looked at the damage together and the adjuster agreed that the roof needed replacing. The work was scheduled, the material was delivered in a neat pile on my driveway, the roofers arrived early the next morning, they worked all day and returned the next morning to complete the job and cleanup. Kenny arrived the following day and inspected the roof with us and we paid him for the work. No drama, they did everything they said they would do when they said they would do it for the agreed upon price.....pretty simple, straightforward transaction Heartland is not a low price provider. I could have had my roof replaced at less cost but when I started quizzing other contractors about liability insurance, workmans comp insurance, licensing, references, etc I started getting "fuzzy" answers. I decided to base my decision on their Angie's List rating and my initial experience with them. Visually the roof looks very nice, time will tell if the durability and quality is as good as it looks, however the 5 year labor warranty that they include provided me with the peace of mind should any future problems arise.

They were very responsive from the initial contact. John came to my house to provide an estimate. John went above and beyond to work with my insurance company which was trying to be very stingy on what they would pay for replacement. John kept in contact keeping me updated on everything and letting me know all the rain we received in July and August had set them behind a few weeks. I received a call the Friday before they were to come on Monday to verify everything and let me know what I could expect. The roofers arrived on time and worked until late that evening. They finished the next morning and did a great job with the clean up. They left the area around my house in better shape than they found it. I would highly recommend Heartland to anyone needing a new roof and wanting quality work. Great experience!

Roofers did a great job on the roof replacement, clean-up of overall area. Replacement costs were in line with State Farm estimate. Overall, the roof replacement was smooth and not a problem in any way. Gutter guys also did a great job. No problems.

Heartland Roofing did a great job on my old roof. They also did a good job on managing their subcontractor for the gutter work. But there were two reasons why Heartland was above and beyond. First, their customer service representative, Mr. Thornhill, was extremely professional and courteous. He negotiated the ins and outs of our insurance company very well, noting that the insurance had made several mistakes. The big mistake by our insurance company was only putting in for one layer of roofing when I clearly had two. Mr. Thornhill got our insurance company to fix their mistake. Second, the actual work was excellent. They hand nailed the shingles, painted the chimney and the air flow vents the perfect color to match the roof, and got the work done quickly and on schedule. I didn't find a single nail in my yard to puncture a tire. There were no old dangerous shingles left lying around. The trash dumpster was only at our house two days, whereas in the past, I've had contractors who've had an old ugly dumpster bin blocking half of my driveway for two weeks. The materials were delivered quickly and were put in front of our cars so we could easily get in and out. The roofers were friendly and worked long hard hours to get the job done in just one day. They were here from 8 am to 8 pm in order to inconvenience us as little as possible. Because of the excellent customer service and the great skill of the roofers, I highly recommend this company.

During the May 31st tornado, our roof took a beating. There were large sections of shingles that were completely gone. Within a day, Heartland Roofing came to tarp our roof. They even returned the next morning to cover an area where they were not happy with the way the tarp was covering it the evening before. A few days later, Heartland met our insurance adjuster to talk about the roof damage from the storm. We were given a report that it could be repaired and didn't need replaced. After requesting a re-inspection from our insurance company, Heartland again met them and walked the roof, pointing out hail damage and additional damages not included in the insurance company's initial report. With this re-inspection, they agreed that we needed to replace the roof instead of just repair it. Heartland roofing provided detailed estimates of the expenses to us. They also brought samples of shingles, different makers and colors, and explained the differences between each of them. They suggested colors that would look best and provided addresses for us to go see our color options on a bigger scale. They were very patient with our decision making process and once our choice was made, they were at our home to replace our roof within a week and a half. The shingles arrived the day before the scheduled install. Because of the Oklahoma heat, the workers called to ask if they could reschedule our roof for a day later so they could finish their current job. They came and covered the materials that were in our driveway to deter anyone from taking anything. The next morning, the workers were very punctual and kind. They arrived, gave us the opportunity to move our vehicles before they pulled their equipment into the driveway. They hand nailed every shingle, installed three attic fans and patched two holes from previous vents. They installed drip edge and metal valleys and new vents and caps on our roof. When they finished, they painted the vents and pipes to match the roof. Very detailed and it ended up looking beautiful. Heartland Roofing also replaced all of our seamless guttering around the house. They were sure to walk around the house with us, making sure everyone was in agreement about the best placement for our downspouts. They arrived around 8 a.m. and were done by 1 p.m. Everything was cleaned up, magnets were run through the back and front yard to pick up any hidden debris. They did a wonderful job! We are very pleased will all the work this company did for us and would definitely recommend this company to others, as we are already doing so. I will also say that we did receive proposals from additional companies before making our final decision to go with Heartland. Heartland beat the competition not only on price, but also on the quality of materials and labor. Every employee we worked with, spoke with, and came in contact with were very professional and very pleasant. As well, the owners! Thanks again, Heartland!

Heartland worked with me to arrange a good time and completed the roof in one day. The crew did a good job cleaning up the yard and the workmanship was good. I'm very pleased with the price and service received. I would use them again.

Heartland had someone at my home for an estimate within 3 days or less. Once we decided to go with this company, everything else went extremely well. There were a couple of weather delays (rain), but as soon as it cleared up, the roofers were there at 6 a.m. Roof was completed in slightly over one day. During all phases of the roofing, their roofing consultant, John Hawkins, called and came by to check on progress. As with all dealings with insurance claims, there was a wait for inspections by the mortgage company before funds were released and Heartland was very understanding and patient. I was very happy with everyone I dealt with from this company and would call them again as my first choice!

Kenny Thronhill was my salesman and he was very helpful. They did great work and I am happy with my new roof. I would highly recommend this company.

Everything went well at first. The guy showed up signed a contract with me ,they came it a few days later and . Did the work,Then about the weeks after the job was completed, they called me telling me its actually gonna be an extra 800 dollars.......

We had hail damage and leaking from the May 2013 storms. When I called to talk to my insurance company they gave me the names of 3 roofers to get the damage assessed before seeing if I needed to file a claim. I called all 3, we decided to go with Heartland. Kenny was the most professional and friendly of the 2 that came out. He offered to come and walk the roof and the other storm damage with the adjuster. Kenny came out and was there every step of the way with the adjuster, even though the adjuster did not really want to speak to Kenny. Our adjuster was not very good, and missed many things. After he left Kenny started showing and telling us about all the things that were missed. I called the adjuster back and inquired about those things and he told me if I felt they needed to pay for those things I needed to get estimates and fax pictures to them. Everything went downhill from there with the insurance company. Heartland came out on the 28th of June to replace the roof. It was supposed to be a 1 day job. The crew showed up at around 7am, and started tearing off the old roof. Kenny came out to the house and took pictures (for insurance purposes) and talked to us about each issue and got our approval before allowing the work to continue. Many issues and stops and restarts later (about 12 hrs), they had my old roof off and a new one (mostly) on. They did come back out and got those things finished. Kenny came out and walked the roof and grounds with us and made sure everything was perfect before he ever accepted the first check. Then the battles really started with the insurance company. We had called and gotten approval before the roof was put on, Kenny called and explained the supplemental that HAD to be done. They refused to pay for a variety of reasons the pictures were faxed in black and white (he was told to do this by the ins company), the amount was to high (it was average for our area), it wasn't storm damage (yes it was). Each and every item they tried to use Kenny could prove where they were wrong. Then they stopped returning my calls and his. After many threats and much frustration they did finally pay for the roof. Kenny is just how wonderful. He never stopped fighting for what was right. He made sure that we knew what the insurance company needed to look at (even if it was not roof damage and he did not get paid for that portion). He took all the right pictures and made multiple calls to try and get everything taken care of. If I had questions he made sure I got answers. He waited until the insurance company finally sent us our check before accepting the final payment. If you are going to use Heartland (I would highly recommend them), make sure you get Kenny out there. He really is awesome! He is honest, fair, prompt, and very professional. If everyone at Heartland is half as great as he is there should not be any other roofing company in Oklahoma.

I think I got them from Angie’s List. I really liked them. They did a great job. They worked from 6:30 to till it was dark. They finished it all up and I think they had about 30 to 40 minutes to do this morning. I wanted hand nailed shingles and an inch long nails and they did that. That is really what I wanted and I didn’t want a nail gun. They were efficient. I guess the main guy is going to come out tonight. He has walked through already. He is going to come out with my husband and they are going to do one more walk through. They are going to look at it together at 6:30. I don’t know what the exact bill was. It had to be somewhere in-between $23,000 to $25,000 because it’s a big roof and all the materials have gone up. The pricing was reasonable. They cleaned up everything. They were really good.

Their website allowed me to easily maneuver and request an inspection/estimate on my house that needed a new roof due to the recent spring hailstorms. It took little time for a Heartland Roofing representative to call me, answer my questions, and facilitate the estimate process. The sales representative was always willing to answer questions and never attempted to ?push a sale.? This was a greatly appreciated. Overall, the company?s emphasis was product/workmanship quality and customer satisfaction. They were not willing to cut corners in the repair and guaranteed their workmanship for 5 years. These attributes combined, provided a ?best value? to me, the customer. The actual shingle removal/installation process was easily coordinated between the sales representative, production manager, and me. Overall, having Heartland Roofing take care of my home roofing needs was the best choice.

I am never before provided all top scores for anyone. True professionals, saw a TV spot for them last night and they mentioned customer satisfaction was important to them and I thought everyone states that but they actually delivered. I am fast to complain so I owed it to them to respond to a standout as well.

Heartland roofers performed very well, always respectful of our property, shrubs, flower beds, etc. Supervision was on the spot in all aspects of the repair. Clean up was thorough and expedient. Heartland explained all items on the invoice to our satisfaction. I would recommend Heartland to anyone needing a new or repair roof; I would not hesitate to use them again.

I am so grateful to have found Heartland Roofing. After the latest big hail storm, I knew I had some damage, so I decided to call them, since they'd done such a great job on several small repairs I'd had done over the years. Just as I was getting ready to call, my phone rang, and it was Brad Neff calling to ask me if I wanted them to come out and inspect the roof. The very next day, he and Luke Reeve showed up, inspected my property and let me know my roof was probably totaled. They stayed with me while we called my insurance company and talked with the claims person, which really helped. Then, when the adjuster came out, they were both right there, helping point out all the damages on my house. Once the insurance company paid my claim, they started immediately. The crews were fast, thorough and professional, and the entire job was completed within a week! They have communicated with me the whole time, letting me know where we are in the process. It's just been a terrific customer experience. I will most definitely use them again if I need roof work.

We were impressed with the whole process. I called and was told someone would get in touch and Kenny called the next day. He came out to the house and gave me an estimate and showed me the different shingles. It took awhile to get the roof on with the storms we were having. We got a date and the job was done. The workers arrived on time. The old material was picked up and hauled off and the nails were picked up off the grass. Kenny met with us that evening and we walked around the house to make sure there were no problems.Our roof looks great. We were pleased with the service and the roof. We know who to call now.

Day 1: A large crew appeared at 6:30 a.m., took their first and only break at 12:30 p.m., and completed shingling our two houses by 6:30 p.m. The workers were experienced and efficient. Both roofs look very good. Working on the steep pitched A-frame was a challenge but was well done. The area around the houses was cleaned of debris and stray nails before the workers left. Day 2: (5 days later) The gutter crew arrived in the late morning and was finished about three hours later. Guttering was expertly installed, and some modifications were made from previous guttering to better channel water away from the house. This roofing/guttering experience was very positive. The representative from the roofing company, David Cartwright, always arrived promptly at appointments. He worked with the insurance company and adjustor to ensure a smooth transaction.

They found some hail dammage to the wood that was replaced. Also vents were installed. New shingles were replaced, also some new gutters. Over all work was done very professionally, and we are very pleased with the out come.

I called Heartland Roofing to get a quote for the leak we had in our roof. While on the phone, Robert told me that he could meet me at the house in an hour. Once there, he did a visual inspection from ground level, then inspected the room where the leak occurred, then he crawled on to the roof to check it out. He found multiple sources he thought were the cause of the leak. He sealed all the trouble areas on the spot. We agreed on a price, however, with rain coming in a couple days, he said to hold off paying until we see if he fixed the problem. If it's not fixed, no charge to me, and he would come out to re-address the issue. Very stand up company, highly recommend to anyone.

We have had a leak around our chimney since having a new roof put on in 2009. We have had several attempts at repairing it .I called Heartland Roofing one morning on 2/17/2013. The consultant came out that afternoon looked at it, told me what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. I accepted. They came out the next day and did the work. We have had rain and thus far we have had no leaks. They guaranteed their work for ninety days. I wish that I had known about this company three years ago. They were very professional and explained everything in full. I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs a new roof or roof repairs.

They did a great job

Was looking for a roofer due to hail damage from the May 2012 storm. Called Heartland. Receptionist was very friendly and set up a time for salesman, Kenny T. to come out and take a look to confirm there was damage. He met with the insurance adjustor to make sure they were both on the same page when it came to all the damage.Heartland was actually able to come out faster than first anticipated to replace the roof. It was finished in a day and they did a good job with cleanup around the yard.Heartland also oversaw getting repairs done to gutters and windows due to hail and both jobs were completed to my satisfaction in a timely manner.Kenny was a very good point man for Heartland. Very friendly and he took the time to answer any and all questions about the work being done.I would recommend Heartland to anyone looking for a roofer.

After getting estimates from several roofing companies in the area, we chose Heartland Roofing.The first roofing crew sent only two roofers on the very hot days of summer. The work went very slowly. After we contacted Harlan, he made sure we had a full crew to replace our roof. The work was then completed in an acceptable length of time. Harlan came several times to inspect the work. They took care of talking to our insurance company and the roof was replaced at no out-of-pocket expense for us. We are pleased with the result.6/15/2012

I don't begrudge them this, but it seemed like it was more of a sales pitch than an actual service and they were looking to obviously get business. It took a couple of different calls to actually arrange for them to come out. It seemed like it was a very small operation and the principal had to kind of arrange his schedule to be able to come out which was not really right, so I think them being small it was a little bit difficult to juggle the appointment time.

We hired them through Angie's List when they ran a special for $99. We were considering selling our home in about 6 months, so we wanted to get a professional assessment of the condition of the roof. I liked the fact that they were considered a prefered business by Angie's List. They were punctual, friendly, and professional. I know some companies use inspections as a way to get a foot in the door, but the inspector told us the roof could probably go 10 more years before we would need to replace it. He didn't try to sell us any additional services. I appreciated their honesty, and would seek them out first to get a quote on the roof if it needed work.
