I was very pleased with the whole process. It was planned out and communicated when the work was going to be done. The crew was prompt, professional in conduct, and very thorough. They used a good product and were able to do the whole job in a few hours. They cleaned up afterwards including going down the stairs with a dust pan to get fibers that had fallen from clothing etc. David (crew member) who saw me cutting limbs from the storm, even offered to let me use a branch lopper he had in his truck. They just made me feel like they were going to do a good job from the moment they started. I also had a roof installed by this company. Same result. I highly recommend them!

Heartland Roofing, specifically Kenny Thornhill, went above and beyond to help us get our home correctly reroofed. He contacted our insurance company and city code enforcement to help us get the repairs done to meet the latest building codes and standards. He explained what was required by our insurance company to get them to pay for a re-deck of our home. He had to come out on a very hot day and measure the crack width between boards of the old decking. He didn't hesitate to get up there and get the photo evidence to satisfy the insurance company. Kenny presented shingle options that lowered our annual insurance premium. The high impact shingles will pay for themselves in the way of lower insurance premiums in 2.7 years. He explained the process and kept us informed of when work was scheduled and duration. He regularly checked the work. After each step, he would perform an inspection with us and address any concerns and/or questions.

I have to say, this is the 3rd roofing company i have used in 10 years (own 4 houses in Oklahoma!), and they are by far the best, most professional, fairly priced company i have worked with, and I will definitely use them in the future. David Garon was an absolute pleasure to work with! I live in Germany (Military), and had roof damage from hail at my Oklahoma home, currently being rented. Needless to say coordination should have been difficult, but wasn't! I had daily updates on paperwork status, scheduling, meetings with my tenant etc. I knew what was going on the entire time. Also, Heartland was very patient with my mortgage company, as they were delayed almost a month in endorsing my settlement check from insurance company. They worked with my to maximize my settlement, and even was able to provide me needed upgrades from my previous roof, at no additional cost to me. They also helped work rebates from the shingle company, saving me $250. Despite the delay from the mortgage company, Heartland still proceeded to replace the damaged roof, even without a deposit (signed contract in hand of course), and never hounded me for the money..which i promptly paid upon receipt. My tenant verified that he was unable to find any nails/roofing debris in the yard after the work was completed, which is usually an issue after roof replacement, so clean-up was immaculate. I highly endorse Heartland, and although i hope not to have to replace any roofs in the near future, i will definitely use Heartland if i do! I definitely appreciate the responsiveness, professionalism, courtesy, and service I received working with David at Heartland Roofing! Thanks for great customer service, and a lovely new roof!

After a severe hailstorm, there was extensive damage to my house, including interior damage from a leaking roof. Heartland showed up promptly when they said they would to give me a (competitive) estimate, and explained to me what I could expect from the process. They helped me deal with the insurance company and the requirements for documentation from the mortgage holder. The new roof is very nice and was completed and cleaned up in a day. I broke my ankle and ended up pretty incapacitated in the middle of the other contracted work, and they were very helpful in working around my limitations. There were a few issues with one of the subcontractors, but the Heartland folks were very responsive in taking care of the problem. Kenny, my salesman, was always available to help me any way he could. I'm satisfied.

I love my new class 4 roof....it looks wonderful! I would recommend this roofing company to anyone!

The severe hailstorm on May 8, 2015 left me with a roof that needed to be inspected for damage. I contacted several roofing companies, but Heartland Roofing was the only one that upheld their commitment to come and inspect. Kenny Thornhill showed up promptly at the appointed time and proceeded to inspect the roof as well as looking for damage to windows, screens, gutters, etc. He took pictures of what he found and then carefully reviewed those pictures with me, explaining what it was that he found. He took the time to explain to me that the entire roof needed to be replaced as well as why, in addition to other items that would need to replaced, as well as improvements that could be made to help protect my home and extend the life of the new roof. Kenny was very easy to speak with and he made sure that I understood what needed to be done and what my options were. He also explained the entire process of working with insurance and how Heartland Roofing handles the entire process as well as subcontracting the non-roofing work, making it pretty much pain-free for me. I was never rushed during the whole time I spoke with him and felt I fully understood what was going to happen. The roofing work was scheduled and as promised, the materials were dropped off exactly as specified the day prior and the work began the next day. The work took a day and a half, as estimated, and during the work Kenny came by to make sure things were progressing as expected. Once the work was complete, the roofers did a pretty good job of cleaning up the property, and afterwards Kenny came by to inspect the work with me, as well as walk around my property and make sure it was cleaned up to his and my satisfaction, taking note of what he found. Heartland also took care of working with and paying for the subcontractors so that all I had to do was pay Heartland and everything else was taken care of by them. I am very happy with the result and have a new roof that stands out from my neighbors. The work and professionalism exhibited by Heartland was outstanding and I highly recommend them for any roofing work.

Heartland Roof did an excellent job on our roof replacement. They were very professional and extremely helpful during the entire process of dealing with our insurance carrier and getting our roof replaced in a timely manner.. I strongly recommend this company.

The roofers showed up almost an hour early, which was not an issue. We understand they wanted to beat the summer sun and heat. They did a great job, and they were done in two days. They were professional and respectful. The gutters look great. It was a perfect color match to the paint and shingles. There were some issues with the different peaks of our house, they listened to our concerns, and explained different ways to resolve the issue. We are pleased with the price of the entire package we received.

Great, no problems. They were helpful in referring me to other workers for my remaining hail damage.

I CONTACTED HEARTLAND ROOFING TO GET A BID TO REPAIR THE ROOF ON ONE OF MY RENTAL BUILDINGS. THE SALESMAN GAVE ME A BID THAT I THOUGHT WAS REASONABLE THEN THE SALESMAN REVISED HIS QUOTE SEVERAL TIMES SAYING THAT HE HAD FORGOT TO INCLUDE SOME MATERIAL OR LABOR COST. SO THE PRICE HE QUOTED WAS WRONG EACH TIME HE GAVE ME A QUOTE. THE PRICE WENT UP EACH TIME HE CHANGED THE QUOTE. I WAS READY TO TELL HIM TO FORGET THE WHOLE THING AND I THINK HE KNEW IT. HE LOWERED THE HIS BID TO $19,000.00 WHICH WAS SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS LESS THAN HIS ORIGINAL BID, SO I LET HIM HAVE THE JOB. AFTER HIS CREW STARTED THE JOB AND WAS ABOUT HALF WAY FINISHED HE CAME TO ME AND TOLD ME HE WAS GOING TO HAVE TO CHANGE THE SCOPE OF THE JOB AND USE LESS EXPENSIVE MATERAL. I TOLD HIM I WANTED THE MATERIAL THAT I WAS QUOTED. HE SAID I WOULD HAVE TO EXCEPT THE LESSER MATERIAL AND SIGN A NEW CONTRACT OR HE WOULD PULL HIS CREW OFF OF THE JOB. WE BOTH KNEW HOW HARD IT WOULD BE TO FIND SOME OTHER COMPANY TO FINISH THE JOB. SO I SIGNED THE NEW CONTRACT SO HE WOULD FINISH THE JOB. I CONTACTED SEVERAL ROOFING SUPPLIERS CHECKING ON THE PRICE DIFFERENCE OF THE MATERIAL AND FASTENERS. HE SAVED ABOUT $2300.00 BY CHANGING THE SCOPE OF THE ROOFING JOB. I THINK HE REALIZED THAT HE DIDN'T DO HIS HOME WORK VERY WELL AND UNDER BID THE JOB. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYBODY THAT I CAN NOT TO USE THEM.

Everything when well. They took care of the estimates with the insurance company. They recommended shingles that would result in a discount on my insurance. They got a 50 square roof on in 1 day. The crew clean up was very good. No payment was required until the roof was on. Sales rep was very friendly and kept me involved in all aspects I was interested in. I have used other roofers in the past. Never again.

Heartland re-roofed our home with class 4 Impact Resistant shingles, they worked fast yet diligently and professionally and cleaned up afterwards so we had no stray nails laying around in our yard or driveway...

I received a written estimate, and declined the offer when I found an offer from another reputable company at a much lower price.

Getting the roof complete took months beyond what it should. Many delays, most of which could have been avoided with a little focus. The roof work itself was excellent, but I wanted a one stop shop to also do the painting guttering and metal work. In the beginning, I was told that the painting would be able to be done too. By the end, the painter could not squeeze us in and now I have to find someone myself to do that.

This job was done very well, and I am pleased with the outcome. There were a couple of issues I had asked the company to pay special attention to that were not addressed, but overall pleased with the work that was done.

I knew I had a large steep roof and I thought I would have to listen to banging for days. They started the roofing around 7 A.M. or so. It was noisy, so I decided to leave the house about 1 PM. When I came back at 7 PM, it was all done! I could not believe my eyes! I was amazed! The roof was so perfect and good looking! ONE DAY!! They also replaced my screens and gutters. The new gutters look amazing also, and they really finish off the lines of the roof! Heartland Roofing really worked with me, especially after I told them that a different contractor I hired took $12,000.00 of my insurance money and did not complete any work. David Garon who is Vice President of Sales for Heartland Roofing was very understanding and helpful. After losing part of my insurance money, David helped me with pricing, and with all my insurance paperwork so that it all made sense. Thank you over and over David Garon! The insurance company accepted all the work performed and sent the second check for recoverable depreciation, which finished paying for all the work they completed.

all went well, no issues and they offered to refund the 99.00 since my roof was in great shape.

He did not charge me for a nail pop he repaired that was the cause of the leak. He even came back to advise me how to repair the water stain on sheet rock.

Salesman got back with me pretty fast whenever I had questions about concerns. Roofers were very fast and very easy to communicate with me. Even painted my furnace stack and vents so they would match, without me even asking or thinking about it. Insurance did not pay for all of it , so made price kind of high for me, but heartlands price was about the same as other roofers I got quotes from. Over all very satisfied. Salesman recommended natural wood color shingles . Sure looks good.

They were able to work with the insurance company that was difficult and cumbersome to reach and communicate with. However, they were persistent and patient in obtaining more insurance money to replace my roofing adequately. This was essential for me and my pocketbook. They were able to schedule to replace my roofing, and, came out to start the process on time. Furthermore, they even stayed late into the evening to complete, for the most part, the replacement of the roof. They were able to complete the process and cleaned-up their working site as well. They were able to come out the next day, and finished up the process. They were able to follow-up with me, and made sure that I was satisfied with the roofing replacement. Again, they continued to work with the insurance company to obtain the last of the insurance funds. Their persistence, professionalism and patients were enduring and determined. I would recommend them to anyone within their working area.

Kenny was our contractor. He explained all things thoroughly, was professional and prompt. Work was completed as agreed, although the weather prolonged the project considerably. Kenny negotiated with the insurance company and advocated for us in order to repair all damage done by May tornado. Although working through home repairs is never pleasant, I believe Kenny and Heartland Roofing made the process go as smoothly as possible , with minimal interruption to our personal schedules.

Kenny has been a pleasure to work with. He has always been very up-front with everything, and did a terrific job dealing with the insurance company. They were going to short-change us with what they were paying, but after Kenny dealt with them, they came up to a reasonable payout. Kenny is very patient, and great at explaining everything very clearly, from the details of the job to be done to the financing. Once the contracts were signed, the job was scheduled promptly. The workers showed up at 6:00 a.m., and at the end of the day, I had a new roof, and they had cleaned up very well. The roofing crew were all very polite and easy to work with.

We live down in Moore but Heartland was referred to us by a friend who found the company on Angie's List. They were pleased with the service and I trusted his opinion so we made the call. We had been lucky and hadn't had to replace a roof yet. Note, before you call your insurance, call a couple of private companies and have them come out and inspect first. Thing is, in hindsight, there will always be another storm, this is Oklahoma but most insurance companies have two payments. The first is a percentage of the cost to replace, depreciation, minus the deductible of course, and then a second payment after the repairs are complete. Things is most insurance companies put a time limit on the repairs, ours was 1 year. We certainly we not going to be a 30 year roof with the Oklahoma storms but based on the damage, we could have made it 2-5 years or a storm or two before having to replace. Roof rookies is not a good thing. Hopefully you read this and it helps before you in a storm bind and calling insurance, most have a time limit after the storm (big storms not withstanding). As rookies though, Heartland was extremely understanding and willing to make their own appraisal without just wanting to look at the insurance determination. Granted, most work appraisals might be higher but we wanted to have that feeling that we weren't getting the wool pulled over. Almost none of the companies we contacted would give their independent appraisal after the insurance appraisal. Those who did seemed to shoot the moon. Heartland's appraisal was only slightly more than the insurance and they explained options with the roof and actually did minor upgrades to ensure a good looking product in the end. Kenny was extremely friendly and always happy to explain things. He is a sales/service representative so he was persistent hoping to gain our business (unheard in our experience with other roofing companies, almost like they were too busy to care). We gave him a timeline for contacting us and he was happy to adhere and generally contacted us on the day we set (plus or minus 1). Kind of refreshing to have a business that cared that much about getting our business without being rude or pushy and all when they were super busy in the May 2013 storms aftermath. I don't want to replace a roof again anytime soon. Crazy expensive, even with insurance, but some lessons learned and they are the kind of company that has earned the return business and based on their interactions with us, they are very likely to still be in business when we have to replace this roof again or put a roof on a new house in this or an area near by. Sorry that you need to replace a roof, but Heartland made it as good an experience as possible and we're very please with the look of the roof, the speed but care ( I watched periodically throughout the day) and the cleanup when everything was finished (no shingles or fabric, only found 3 nails total that came out of the down-spouting) especially that there was nothing in the neighbors' yards. Impressive when we compared it to the neighbors' roofers.

Very professional business to work with. They worked with us as we were working with the insurance company. David was our project manager, wonderful guy. Very prompt in returning phone calls. We couldn't have asked for a better experience during a stressful time.
