Description of Work: The fixed the job that Minter Heat & Air tried twice to and could not. They pointed out the shoddy work that Minter performed and why it did not fix the problem. We will use them again.

+ -1 moreI had a lot of different quotes from a lot of different companies and I don’t remember how much theirs was. I thought that their prices were high and that they were trying to sell me something I did not need. I thought it was like a hard pressure sales tactic. They gave me a quote and I told them that I just wanted a quote and that I wasn’t making a decision today. They told me that they would drop $300 off the price if I did it right now and I felt that it was real high pressure. I just needed a condensing unit and they were trying to tell me that I should replace the furnace for additional money, but I did not think that was wanted. I would not get a quote from them again and I had the work done by someone else.
Description of Work: Hardesty’s One Hour Heat And Air came out and gave me an estimate to replace the cooling unit.

+ -1 moreThey gave me there opinion that I already new on my own then took $59.00 from me!
Description of Work: I had called this company to have an ac guy come and give me a complete diagnostic on my ac system. I had informed them on the phone that I needed an air filter rack installed and also needed to have the rest of the system checked for peak performance. I was told that a licensed ac technician would be sent out for a 59.00 diagnostic and that they would be capable of installing the filter rack and doing a complete system diagnostic for me. I was also told that the technician would have 95% of the tools they would need on the truck with them. Upon their arrival were two well dressed men that looked they belonged in an office and not doing an ac diagnostic or any kind of ac labor. To my surprise the man informed me that neither one of them were licensed and that they would not be able to hook up any gauges to my condenser to check for performance and also that they were not there to do any work but just give me an estimate.

+ -1 moreI didn’t like the first system that they installed. I called them and they and they said that they would make me happy. They came and took out the old system and installed a new system of my choice for no additional cost. I was very happy with them.
Description of Work: I have a contract with Hardesty’s One Hour Heat and Air. They installed my central air conditioning system and they come twice a year.

+ -1 moreI called Hardesty, got a call back from Maurice, whom I'd worked with on several other similar situations. Great dude. He told me to look at a couple of things, gave me a few tips on things to check, and told me to call him back, as he was finishing another job. Did so, said he'd be over in a few as our place was the way to his next destination, and within 10 minutes had the unit working again. I can't see enough about him, first of all, and his company. Will definitely continue to use him, first, and the company as long as he's there.
Description of Work: We came back from vacation to find our upstairs level at more than 105 degrees inside; the dual capacitar on the upstair AC unit had failed, which was replaced promptly.

+ -1 moreThey were courteous and wore uniforms. They stand behind their warranty. We also have them do the service work which is 4 visits a year. They support their customers. They are not allowed to smoke or use bad language. They were so professional.
Description of Work: They replaced the air conditioner compressor with a heat pump. They removed the old compressor and replaced it with a new model. It has a new thermostat. They inspected the vents, ducts and the heat exchanger. They cleaned up everything.
