The $100.00 is a deposit and it is our (The Groutsmith) policy to collect before we come out to do the work. Angie's List is aware of this policy as were you when you read the fine print of our quote. Let it be known that the $100.00 is deducted from (Not added onto) the final bill so you would have paid us $515.00 upon job completion. Description of Work: Can't say enough about Groutsmith. From initial point of contact until the completion of the job, Groutsmith representatives were friendly and very professional. Their pricing is extremely fair (my wife deals with contractors at Tinker on a daily basis, including folks doing this type of work, and she was extremely happy with pricing) and the quality of work was simply outstanding. We love the results and plan on using Groutsmith in the future for our other tile repair/cleaning needs.

Description of Work: The two man team was amazing and they provided us with tile and grout cleaning which was amazing. I am so glad we found them after hearing horror stories from people that were ripped off. Their company has been in business for twenty five years. They guarantee the colored grout sealer work for 10 Years and we did not know that it came in colors. There work was all done by hand and they used to tooth brush to clean and seal the grout. I could go on and on but think this is more enough for now and we would have already recommended them to several family friends. | |Steve

Description of Work: Very unhappy with the work they did in our home. They appeared to not know what they were doing. The workmanship was very poor and they did not clean up the area very well after they finished. However, the two workers were very kind and acted professionally. We felt that they were just not trained properly.

Description of Work: They cleaned grout in combined kitchen and dining area, and laundry room along with coloring grout lines. They did an excellent job, but I was glad I was there to point out areas that needed more attention. They were very friendly. The final cost I thought was a bit pricey but I didn't make any other cost comparatives. We also bought their 2 cleaners which are reflected in the final price. We are happy with the final appearance.

Description of Work: Cleaned tile surfaces, and regrouted between them. If I had any questions, they would stop and explain the process, and ask if I was happy with the result. Couldn't ask for more pleasant, professional people. I wholeheartedly recommend them. Just be aware that very old, scratched tiles really need to be replaced, as opposed to cleaned, for most dramatic results.

Description of Work: Took a long time to get appointment set up and actually have them out to house. Once there, the two gentleman were very professional and knowledgeable. Price was a pretty steep and they could not do a part of the job needed: drywall repair. Quoted about 1200 for grout repair and sealing. Found someone to do drywall, grout and sealing for $400. Looks fine--what we needed. Cant really say anything negative about company--their service may be excellent, I don't know. But they could not do all that was needed for me.
