The Groutsmith was terrific to work with. They were timely with phone calls, appointments were easy to make, appointment reminders including what days the showers/tubs could not be used were timely, the service person was timely to the house for the estimate and the service, he cleaned up the area after finishing and did a great job. I have two bathrooms with tile tub-surrounds. Both bathroom were serviced on different appointments because the tub/shower cannot be used for 5 days (the day before service, the day of, and three days after). The house is 30 years old and some of the grout showed it. A couple of tiles in one bathroom had to be reset and all of the grout now looks like new. I would definitely refer them to family and friends and would use them again should the need arise.

What I thought to be an extremely high QUOTE for three bathrooms 900.00 dollars and will not use groutsmith again for something I could have and should have done MYSELF...USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

It went very smoothly. It took them a while to get around to this small job but other than that it went very smoothly, very nice people to deal with.

Tile had been brownish in spots, and mostly dirty looking because it had never been sealed. They got it back to the original off-white color and sealed it. MUCH easier to keep clean now! Excellent job!

The process was very easy and professionally handled from the first phone call, to the quote process, to scheduling and completing the job.? Call Groutsmith and stop looking for someone to do your work!! They did an outstanding job in everything they touched in my 1999 house, from the estimate to the actual work done. Rob was prompt, got to work immediately, and was done the exact time he said it would take. When he left, everything was spik and span. I couldn't believe the difference my baths and kitchen--just like new! Thank you Groutsmith for a job well done! I would definitely recommend Groutsmith.

The technician showed up promptly at the appointment time and started in the room I selected to be done first. I had already removed any items sitting on the tile floor and so he began cleaning the grout and then immediately applied the sealant. I was told it would be approximately 5 hours from beginning to end and it was almost exactly that. I was given instructions on how long to wait before allowing walking on the grout, cleaning or mopping it and how long needed for standing water to be on it. When I looked at the grout, I was amazed at how much cleaner it was. I thought it looked great before the service, as the home is only 2 years old or so, but wow what a visual difference. Now that we are two weeks into having had this process done, I finally see the sealant working. Some drops of water landed on the kitchen floor, and sure enough they beaded immediately, just like I was told they would. The Groutsmith seems like a well run operation. From the ladies that call to confirm service all the way to the technician that comes to your home, they are all extremely professional, friendly and informative. I would definitely use them again, and they build trust and use good customer service.

Excellent!? Robert Ritter was the technician that performed?the work. He was thorough, courteous, and did a fantastic job.? The grout looks new again!? No complaints at all.

He had a genius design rolling chair for his chest and knees with a bicycle seat, which allowed him to scrub the tile floors quite vigorously without causing him a lot of miserable pain in the knees. He also matched the grout color and sealed all the grout lines.?He worked for about 4 hours to do both bathroom floors, not including the showers. Although this is not a cheap service, it is worth the charge because he did all he agreed to do at the stated price, and did an excellent job.

We set up an appointment, and he came by the house and I had forgotten & left. He has been right on the ball. I plan on calling him?this week?to schedule a new appointment.

An appointment was first made so that he could come and evaluate what needed to be done. At that time, we set a date and time for the job. The employee arrived exactly on time and set to work almost immediately. He suggested a color change that I'd never considered, and I agreed to it. In the end, it looked just wonderful. He was quite professional and a very efficient worker. I would recommend this company to others, and would hire them again.

Bought a deal and was advised contractor would contact me - hasn't happened

When I spoke with the company's representative, I told her this was for a walk-in shower. When the tech arrived, he was thinking the job was for a floor. He told me that they count a shower as essentially double the time/labor as for a floor. The deal was for 100 sq ft of floor so I would essentially be paying double what I'd already paid. I declined and told him I'd be seeking a refund. He left and called his company. I called Groutsmith as well and told them I wanted a refund. I was directed to contact Angie's List directly for this.

Purchased deal on 5/9. Angie's List 48 hr guarantee promised contact by 5/13. Never heard from company until almost 5 PM on 5/14. Said they didn't receive info from Angie's list. by this time I had contacted another company, as I was going out of town & needed this completed. Offered to let the Groutsmith do a similar job for the fee. They declined.
