GRANITE TRANSFORMATIONS

The process and finished work was nothing less than outstanding. A week previous, workmen (Mike and Josh) came in to measure and create templates for the preparation of the material. They were exceedingly friendly and especially courteous of my home. They were prompt and completed their work efficiently. The next week, Mike and Josh again appeared at my door PROMPTLY at 8:00 a.m. as they promised. A plumber was contracted to remove and replace the sink and he was 5 minutes late due to traffic and was very apologetic. These were professionals. The plumber had his work done in 5 minutes and the work proceeded. They first took great care to protect my cabinets and floors, covering and taping. Then they brought in the overlays for final fitting, The prepared quartz overlays based on their measurements fit perfectly. They fine tuned the cut, cut out outlet holes, etc. for all pieces. All was done outside so zero dust materialized in my home. Piece by piece they then glued it all down making sure that any existing material that was delaminated was removed. 4 hours later they are polishing and removing any remaining debris. Of special note was the receptionist, Dina. She made every effort the previous week to get the plumber back the same day and was in contact with him letting him know when the work was completed. He arrived within the hour of completion and my kitchen was done by early afternoon. Of note..GT contracted Hill and Co for plumbing and the man that came out, Perry Brainard, was amazing. He settled everything in, tested several times for leaks and even repaired a weakness in my under sink cut off while he was there. I grabbed his card and will consider Hill & Co. seriously for my next repair. So I could not have been more pleased with the experience and recommend them highly.

They came and made the template 2 weeks prior to the installation and then came and installed them. They look fantastic and it is exactly what we wanted. They hauled off all of the old stuff and cleaned up after themselves. Did have a little issue with some glue getting on the utility room (new) door knob but wiped it off as best I could and did not call them about it.

Mark Smith, our salesperson, game amid our painting and on-going re-do of our kitchen. The countertops were the last part of the equation. He was so helpful and explained completely the process of how the product is manufactured. I was particularly excited that the surface did not have to be sealed like regular granite and the scratch and chip resistance far exceeds all other products we looked at. We agreed to a price, which on the surface seems high, but if you take into account that there is NO DEMO, NO HAUL AWAY charges, plus the mess is minimal. The product is beautiful and I couldn't be happier. There is some odor from chemicals, but I opened my windows and let in the fresh air. There is mess, but the guys cleared everything away when they were done. They finished as they said they would, on time with a little to spare. The workmen were happy, laughing people who filled my house with laughter and what appeared to me to be a joy for their work. They were so pleased when I told them how beautiful the counters looked and said "That's what I'm talkin about".... I would definitely consider them for replacement of my bathroom counters in my other two bathrooms.

We were looking at re-doing our kitchen counter tops and thought Granite Transformation would be a little cheaper than actual granite. Boy were we wrong, they were way too pricey we ordered actual granite counter tops from Home Depot and had them installed for less than what Granite transformation quoted us. Home Depot even through in a double stainless steel sink and a granite window sill for free!!!!! Granite transformation might be the way to go for a smaller job.

This company installed their engineered granite overlay countertops, along with a sink and tile backsplash that I purchased separately. They arrived promptly and completed the work in one day as promised. I am very pleased with the work and the price. My only complaint is that they dumped the dirty water with the adhesive and grout in my back yard and front flower bed. It left a scummy residue in my yard and flower bed which I will have to clean up. I realize it probably should not be placed in the sewer, but I would have preferred them to dump it in the back corner of the yard where it would be less conspicuous. This is a very minor complaint, however. The work itself is good and I am more than satisfied.

The job was done in approx 8 hrs. They checked with me several times to make sure it was the way I wanted it. They were very willing to accept my ideas and were anxious to please. They were very good at their job. The price was comparable to estimate from another company that would have had to remove the old countertops, so we were able to get the desired look without all the mess of tearing out the old countertops. I used my old sink because it is grey and matches my tile, range and wallpaper. The countertops match and even make the sink look better than before. They actually arrived earlier than they had promised.

Granite Transformation has a quality product and are very professional. They were very prompt. I have already them referred to a friend who is using them as well.
