FULLER SIDING & WINDOWS

These guys put all new windows in our house a few years back. They did a tremendous job, at a competitive price (I posted a review here at the time). It's a small business with a personal touch—the Fullers are involved with every step. The main reason I'm posting this review today is to acknowledge the Fullers' commitment to customer service. Recently, one of the windows needed a replacement sash. Even though the windows were still under a lifetime warranty, the manufacturer was not going to cover the replacement cost, claiming something must have hit the window (a loophole that I don't understand). I told the Ms. Fuller that nothing had hit the window and that I was disappointed and very frustrated with the company's response. The very next day, Ms. Fuller called me back to tell me that she had arranged for the window to be replaced. The Fullers would cover the bulk of the cost, as long as I was willing to pay $99. One cannot ask for more than that! Outstanding! I definitely recommend Fuller Siding & Windows.

at his inital evalution, he seems like the type of guy that wont want to work with you to stay within your budget. he did even start on anything since he never contact us back

It was a very good experience all the way through the process. Working with Fuller Windows and Doors, I knew I could get all my questions answered and count on the integrity of the answers. They were personable and friendly, and yet professional and reliable. I shopped around quite a bit and they definitely had the best pricing and I also had assurance of the quality and warranty of the product and the installation. You won't go wrong with Fuller Windows and Siding!

I had a good experience with them. They were real fast when they did it. They kicked out the old ones and installed new windows in my full house in one day. I liked the fact that the man who owns the company came out and installed the windows. So he wanted to do a good job because it was his company. There were two of them and they cleaned all the mess they made.

Had to custom order the doors for a rent house and garage apartment. Jay Fuller was always on time when we set an appointment. Doors were installed by the date we agreed upon. Our rent house was built in 1928, so some unexpected challenges were overcome with no problems. We have done business with Fuller Siding and Windows 3 or 4 times and have always been happy with the results.

I called to get an estimate for the windows and door that I needed to replace. He came and gave me an estimate. I ordered the door and 4 windows. I will be ordering the other windows that are needed soon. He and Nancy were very courteous and professional.

Representative gave me a comprehensive bid, explained the time frame involved. Kept in touch to let me know when the order was ready for installation. Showed up on time the morning of the installation. Completed the job in two days and did a very thorough clean up.

It is so refreshing to deal with a company that cares about doing quality work and appreciates your business. We had a 3 week time frame in which to get a bedroom window replaced before installation of a hot tub. I contacted Mrs. Fuller and received a timely appointment for the estimate. Mr. Fuller came out, measured, and showed us samples of the Don Young windows. Our home had most of its windows replaced by a previous owner. We were so impressed by the Fullers, that we decided to have the remaining original windows and patio door replaced as well. The Don Young windows are manufactured in Tx. When I checked, the BBB gave the manufacturer an A+ rating. Mr. Fuller has 20 years experience installing replacement windows. During original construction, one of our windows was installed prior to the rock being put up. He had to carefully chip the edges of the rock to get the old window out. When installation of the new window was complete, it looked like it had always been there. This kind of care was taken with each item he installed. The windows and patio door are just beautiful! He and his helper did the whole job in a very long 12 hour day. They worked continuously with only a short break for lunch at which time they also went to pick up the patio door. When they were done, everything was hauled off and cleaned up. He gave us thank you gifts and copies of the receipt and warranties. This company exemplifies excellent customer service and pride of workmanship.

My first interactions were with Nancy Fuller; she answers the phone and does the scheduling. We set up a time for someone to come and give my wife and me more information and to get the specifics of the job. Ms. Fuller worked with our schedule (surprising rare). Jay Fuller came to do the estimate. Mr. Fuller discussed our needs and expectations, gave us information on the windows that he uses (Don Young), and supplied several references from recent jobs in our neighborhood. The meeting took less than one hour and was not a hard-sell encounter. The Fullers supplied the estimate within a day or two. Ms. Fuller followed up at least once to make sure we'd seen the estimate, asking if we had questions. We ended up choosing the Fullers because they sold a good product at a reasonable price, and because they were responsive and seemed to really want our job. We liked the idea that Fuller Siding and Windows is a "mom and pop" company with Jay Fuller doing the work himself, and his wife manning the phone—the process felt more personal. The job took just over two days. It's a heavy duty, noisy, and disruptive remodeling process (tearing the old windows out), but Jay and his assistant did their best to make it smooth and orderly. Working on one opening at a time, they seemed to proceed methodically and cleanup as they go. Each window posed unique challenges, but Jay seemed to face each with aplomb. At the end of the first day, Jay and his assistant cleaned up the work space, leaving things neat and orderly. When all of the windows were finished, there was a bit of cleaning that I had to do—some dust, small debris, and carpet spots—but considering the amount of demolition inherent with removing the windows, the mess was minimal. We had the acetic acid smell (vinegar) for a few days—obnoxious but not harmful. Jay spent a few hours fitting the two storm doors. He did a solid job and these too.

They were great and I was very pleased with their service. They were very professional and responsive. They provided very neat work.

The double hung and casement windows look wonderful and function beautifully. Our neighbors subsequently purchased windows from Jay and have beautiful results as well. Almost a year later we had a small "user"problem and Jay was able to show us what we were doing wrong. Great job!

All contacts responded to professionally and quickly. The windows were installed on 2 different dates because I wanted a chance to see the results of the first installation. We had absolutely now complaints. The windows were of excellent quality. The owner did the installation and arrived promptly when promised and accomplished the work quickly. He cleaned up the area after finishing and the only sign he had been there was the new windows. The warranty on workmanship and the windows was above average. The company also brought small gifts as a sign of appreciation for the business. Would definitely use them again and recommend them.

I was pretty pleased with it. He was pretty quick and he did a good job. Very nice. Him and his wife are sweet people.

I called 5 or 6 different companies to get estimates on this job and the people at Fuller Siding were the only ones who actually came to do an estimate, which was very fair. Mr. Fuller got the job done quickly and did a great job. The house looks so much better now and my paint problem is finally solved.

They were the only one who called back and quoted a price for the job. They quoted me $2100 for the job. I may use their services in future.

We called the company and made an appt with them to come out and look at our house to see if they can repair the siding damage that may have been done to it during the 09 ice storm. They asked how we found out about them and we told them through the favorable reviews on Angie's List. The gal made an appointment to send someone out at 5:00pm. When 5pm came no one showed up. We were here for the rest of the evening and no one ever showed up. I emailed them asking them if they intended to come out and look at the work that needs to be done. They never responded to my email. Sad that this company doesn't even have the courtesy to call and cancel their appointment and reschedule it or answer their emails. I guess they are going out of business or decided for some reason not to do business with us. If that's the case it would have been nice to know why they decided not to come and keep their appointment with us. We're still looking for someone to do siding repair on our house.

As usual with Fuller Siding & Windows- installation of siding went great! It looks beautiful. Jay showed up before 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. He's professional. Everything is cleaned up when he's done. This is the 4th time I've had them do work for me and I have been happy with their work every time. I can't say enough nice things about he and his wife, Nancy. They always bring me some sort of gift when the job is finished, which usually includes treats for my two dogs! What nice people...

A window broke in my kitchen. I found Fuller Siding & Windows using Angie's List, and gave them a call. Even though I called during their advertised business hours, no one answered. I left a message on their voice mail system, providing a callback number and a detailed description of my situation. I even mentioned that I might be interested in replacing several windows (for energy efficiency) if the price was right. After a week of waiting, Fuller's still had not returned my call. I decided to give them another chance, and called them a second time. Again, no one answered, and I left a message. This time, Fuller's called back 40 minutes later. The lady on the phone seemed completely disinterested, asking questions like "Who are you again?" and "What was your bid?". When I repeated a full explanation of my situation, she told me that Fuller's Siding & Windows does not repair just any glass; they only repair glass on windows that they've sold and installed. She then recommended a few other companies to perform my glass work, all of which have either F ratings or no ratings on Angie's List. In summary, these people made me wait for a week only to discover that they didn't want my business. Given such a lack of professionalism, I certainly won't be doing business with these people any time soon.

Had two windows that were completely broken (all glass and both screens) in a hail storm that happened in May. I decided to go with a vinyl energy efficient window to replace the old broken aluminum frame windows. I called Fuller siding & windows and Jay was at my house waiting when I got home from work. He came fully prepared and had already measured the windows that needed to be replaced while he was waiting. He had a demo window, color samples (white and tan), literature on the windows he uses/installs (Don Young Windows), and a list of references. He was very friendly and knowable. I decided to go with him and signed the contract. It took a few weeks to get the windows which I understand because most houses lost the north facing windows in the hail storm. Jay and his helper came out Saturday morning and installed them. They did a great job and cleaned up the area. Jay made sure I had all the paper work to file for the tax rebate since I used energy efficient windows. The windows look great and I haven’t had any issues. I even got a gift from them which consisted of a candle and some candy.

They did an excellent job and I would use them again should the need arise.
