Fitzhugh's Pest Control

Excellent, really went beyond expectations in helping me understand the problem and what solutions were available. Will be using Fitzhugh's for any future pest problems.

Excellent service, price, and professionalism. We discovered what we thought were termites and Fitzhugh’s came and did a free inspection and we booked our drilling and trenching the next day.

It has been several months, and we haven't had any insect trouble inside the house.

Very effective. He said he'd need to come back to treat again but so far I haven't seen any more activity. I've used 2 other companies in previous years and these guys were way more reasonably priced and more effective.

Fitzhugh"s was picked from the many companies listed for 2 main reasons (1) they are family owned and (2) all their reviews were A's except for 2 B's and zero C's thru F. John Fitzhugh arrived promptly right after calling us first to let us know he was running 10-15 minutes behind. Upon arrival, I explained that our main concern was spider control and that I used to do the spraying myself but it was now time to call in the experts. John explained their method of inside spraying of baseboards plus laying "sticky strips" at various locations for added control and finally spraying a wide path along the outside perimeter for additional control. He informed us that we could stay in the house along with our cat while spraying, which we did, and that we could leave the a/c system running without negatively affecting the outcome. All in all we were completely satisfied especially after he honored the half price initial visit coupon from Angie's List. For continuous critter control we asked to be included in the quarterly spraying program, no written contract required and at a considerable rate reduction, and we liked the fact that since John was now familiar with our house we could ask for him to do the spraying each time. It was a very reassuring and pleasant experience for us.

Randy was punctual and professional. He performed a thorough inspection inside and outside of the home. He found termites on the east side and took us to see them while he explained the possible causes. Randy even shined his flashlight at them so I could take my own photos. I felt very comfortable with him, and was impressed with his explanations. As a side note, I was initially quoted for a free termite inspection. They even searched for a cancellation so that I could be scheduled for an earlier day in order to meet my 15-day inspection window for the house I was purchasing. Imagine my surprise when I found an invoice for $100 in a small envelope that at first glance looked like a door hang tag. A bill was never mentioned from the time Randy arrived to when we shook hands and he left. However, I called Fitzhugh's first thing in the morning, and they told me that it must have been a miscommunication because my file only said "termites". They waived the bill. I couldn't be happier, and will be hiring them again whenever I need pest control in the future. I am very impressed with their customer service!

They have been out a couple of times.

He was an hour early. He was real punctual. He was very thorough and responsive to stay away from the pet areas.

Tech came promptly, placed poison bait under house and de k, away from where our dogs could reach it. Said we were doing the whole neighborhood a favor, and to call in a month if there is still a problem.

They are very reliable and very knowledgeable. We trust them to go throughout our home and we would recommend them as well.

The provider was prompt and flexible. He readily treated only the areas I wanted and did not pressure me to do a more expensive service. Also taught me much about common pests and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again.

Fitzhugh's took care of our roach and spider problem six weeks ago, especially treating under the house. We were more than satisified. However, the Plumber said he wouldn't go under the house because he saw many black widow spiders under there and required that we call an exterminator to come out first. We took pictures under there and saw no spiders at all but a few cobwebs. So...I called Fitzhugh's and explained that we didn't see any spiders but had to get proof of treatment before the Plumber would take care of a leak under the house. Mr. Fitzhugh's crew is wonderful. Someone came out pdq and treated again the area under the house for a greatly reduced price. I must say, we are very pleased with this Company. It's not easy to find people who don't want to price gouge.

We moved to a new house, which also had the typical OKC roach infestation, many kinds of bugs and spiders. I'm so pleased that I finally found a truly honest, professional and reasonably priced Pest Control Company. As at the other house, with this second effort the problem was solved right away! Very pleasant and friendly crew, very knowledgeable, trustworthy, dependable. As I said before: Although some Pest Companies explain their failure to succeed as "You can't get rid of roaches in Oklahoma City", Fitzhugh's Pest Company will get rid of and prevent!

Ok, I'm going to give the long and the short of this company. Plain and simple they are AWESOME!!! If you are looking for someone who is professional, cares about their customers, and really takes pride in their job, then hire these guys. There is a reason they are one of the only companies that don't require an annual or 2yr contract to provide services. I feel most companies that require a contract, require it so they can take your money and give sub par service. Fitzhugh's doesn't, It's because they don't have to, you will see the job they do, and then hire them back. That's what I did. My first experience with this company was back at the end of May of 2014, I called many pest control companies looking for someone to help me with the mole problem I had around my house. Fitzhugh's was the first one to agree to come out for service without trying to sell me into a contract. John was the technician that came out. He assessed the problem, asked what I had been doing on my own, and gave me some pointers to improve my results. He advised me that they could do the service, but it would be expensive because of the multiple visits that would be necessary. He advised me to keep trying on my own, and use the pointers he gave me. He even gave me his personal cell phone number, and told me to call if I ever had any questions. He did not even take a payment for coming out and advising me. A week later I had one confirmed kill, and was making huge progress. My second experience was on 07/18/2014, I had called to get them to come out and get rid of the spider and ant problem I had been having. Bryan was the one who provided the service. He sprayed for bugs, worked with me on my dogs I had in the house, and gave me guidance on when other services may be needed, such as for termites. He noticed I was military, and gave me a discount. I didn't even think to ask. He took his time to address all concerns I had, and addressed all my questions. Since the day after he sprayed, I haven't seen one bug that's alive in my house. I saw a few dead ones the first week, but since then I haven't seen any. Its been almost 30 days now, and I'm very pleased with their service. I am now going to sign up for one of their annual plans.

From the time I called for the estimate and the final work, we were impressed with the company. I called for an estimate and was scheduled quickly and on time. I secured estimates from 3 different exterminators, but what impressed me most about Fitzhugh was their timeliness, professionalism and the actual time spent evaluating the need. Jared spent almost an hour and half at my house and looked in every knook and cranny. Unlike the other two companies,who were in and out in 5-10 minutes, Jared took the time and made the effort to do a thorough job. All three estimates were all in the ball park of each other. I would recommend Fitzhugh to anyone who was looking for an exterminator.

Great. I just gave this report recently and nothing has changed. We have used Fitzhughs for several years.

Everyone was so nice and professional. I have recommended them to family and friends and I will definitely be using them in the future.

John showed up on time and took the time to pay attention to my indoor dog. He then asked me questions about what I was having trouble with and what I want him to treat for. We talked about the outside and I told him that I was having ant problems and he said that it probably was earthworms, etc. I took him out back to see what I was talking about and he immediately changed his course of action and advised that he would treat for different variations of ants. I am very pleased with the service, I signed up for the quarterly treatment (I really hate insects, spiders, ants, etc.) The original total was $125 for the initial treatment inside and out, but with the Angie's list discount, I got it for $62.50. Also, I just purchased this house (new build) approx. 5 weeks ago, and Fitzhugh's was the one that provided termite treatment. They put their name in the concrete in the garage. That tells me that they are very secure and proud of the service they provide.

We are veryy pleased with Fitzhugh's! We moved into this house a few months ago and shortly after found that there was a roach problem. The first pest company did a sloppy/ terrible job, cost too much, and wouldn't return for a follow up treatment. Very disappointed in this previous pest company, Iwe want to thank Angies List for helping get a refund. Realizing that we were living with these nasty bugs, we use trash and garbage cans with lids which we empty to outdoor trash/garbage cans as often as we can. We keep kitchen surfaces clean and put all foodstuff into sealed plastic containers. We put our silverware and cutlery into plastic containers and those items in drawers are in ziplock baggies. We even put dishes into ziplock bags. We caulked openings, sanded and varnished inside the kitchen drawers which showed old bug dirt which had infiltrated the wood. We purchased many types of roach chemicals and traps. And of course, the roaches continued. We tried Fitzhughs as our second effort. Very pleased with this service. They are friendly,courteous, and intelligent. John explained his methods throughout this visit. He made sure our cat was safe, and gave ideas on how to make our house less attractive to roaches which might enter over time - especially regarding avoiding clutter, wiping down of kitchen surfaces and removing trash/garbage. He advised we use Boric Acid as a safe and effective way to kill all manner of bugs in the future. We had been told by others that Oklahoma City has a roach problem and that you can't get rid of them. John disagrees. And since his visit we are pleased to report that the roach problem is disappearing. After he left we began finding dead bugs every day and a few live ones which were movng pretty slow. After a week we only found dead ones. I called a few times and the staff there was very encouraging, and promise to come out again to do a second treatment if the problem is not solved. I have full confidence in this company and recommend them highly. UPDATE: 7 Months later and there is still no sign of roaches! Thank you Fitzhugh! The next time someone tells me that Oklahoma City has a roach problem that can't be prevented, I'm going to tell them about Fitzhughs. If the others can't control their roach problem it is because they don't have the right Pest Company on their team.

Called them at 2:30 PM for a quote. They were here and had job finished by 3:45 PM. Called 4 places and they were lowest bid and most responsive to my needs.

Excellent service! Last time he sprayed, I saw no insect activity for 3 1/2 years!
