It went good. They were on time and assessed that my controls needed cleaning & adjusting. Time on the job less than 20 minutes. Has worked fine ever since. The price was a flat $250 regardless what was wrong. I agreed to it and they did the job and it works. I just thought the flat $250 was high.

He extended every courtesy in setting up, and keeping our appointment. It didn't take long for him to demonstrate his expertise. My fireplace had been sitting dormant for five years, he had my fireplace up and running with new hardware in short order. I had put this off because I thought I would run into sales pitches to replace the entire unit, or a huge parts and labor issue. Zane asked for a fair price and had me fixed in 45 minutes. Should I ever need to replace the fireplace I'm going to call Zane to do the work. Whatever his price. If you have fireplace issues or work, I recommend Zane and his business without hesitation.

Zane did a great job. He was on time, professional, organized and explained what was wrong; turned out it was a switch problem not the actual gas logs. While he was there he cleaned the logs and helped me clean the glass. I will have him back next fall to do a check-up before it is fireplace season.

Zane had told me a couple of years ago I should have my gas fireplace serviced yearly to avoid problems. It had worked so well after the last time he was here I had not thought to have him come out for service. He is so busy now that I had to wait almost three weeks to get on his schedule. I will be calling him early next fall to avoid being without my fireplace when it is cold. I always appreciate his expertise and will continue to rely on this fireplace service.

I just moved into a house with a ventless gas fireplace. I’ve never had one before and didn’t know anything about them or the operation of them. I got it going in the fall and have been running it regularly. It was making a funny hissing noise so I turned everything off and shut the pilot light off. Then later I could not get it going. Zane came out and cleaned it and repositioned the logs. The problem I was having was total operator error. However, I’m very glad I had him come because I had no idea they needed to be cleaned and the logs were also positioned incorrectly. Zane did a brief tutorial for me and took care of everything very quickly and professionally.

Went great. Fireplace specialists arrived promptly on the scheduled day and checked out the unit. He said it just needed cleaning and some adjustments and quickly had it checked out, cleaned and back in operation. Very efficient and professional. Will definitely use again.

The young man fixed but it quite soon after. They sent him back and charged nothing the second time. Very impressed with his interaction and reliability.

Zane came out on time on the day of my appointment. He was professional, courteous and efficient. He had my problem diagnosed within 5 minutes of his arrival. If he had the part on his truck, he would have installed immediately, but he had used all the same parts on prior appointments. He ordered my part while he was at my house, so I was assured it was done. He came back earlier than he expected, and installed it in the time he had projected, about 20 minutes. He contained the mess from the fireplace, cleaned everything, including the firebox and the glass, and made it look like new. I'm beyond pleased and will certainly call him for any future fireplace repairs.

He had to come out twice to make the repair. He does good work. His interpersonal skills could use a little polish, but I would use him again.

He was very professional and educated us on what was wrong. I believe the original builder put the lowest grade possible of gas fire parts in the fireplace. Zane Davidson made the fireplace better than new. It was totally replace and I feel that the price was conservative for what he did for us.

He called and showed up the day he promised. He had code access to the house and had completed the work when I arrived. He replaced a switch and cleaned the logs. Unit was fixed. The price for the switch was excessive and his base service call fee is excessive.

Zane found the problem last year and this year and resolve the problem. Zane has great work ethics, on time, organize, expertise, and quality service.

Zane ordered a replacement from their original manufacturer, and today he came and installed it. He then checked to make sure that there were no leaks. The fireplace looks great, and my wife is thrilled. Today I paid $435 for him to install the replacement. I'm very happy with the work he did. He was competent, professional, and punctual.

Zane is very good about not only performing quality work, but also explaining the features of the fireplace and how to keep it running efficiently.
