Description of Work: Roofing Estimate

Description of Work: I heard an advertisement on TV and also read in Daily Oklahoman newspaper where Erie Metal Roofs would provide free estimates for roofing and also had a promotion. I need a new roof and am very interested in metal roofs that look like shingles - which this advertisement claimed to have. I phoned the number and a lady answered Erie Construction. I told her what I wanted and she said a representative will phone me back shortly. A man phoned me back as she said and was very nice. He scheduled an appointment with me for Tuesday, March 26th at 2:00 pm to come provide me with an estimate and explain their products to me. He said I would receive a confirmation call the day before. That Monday (25th) I received a confirmation call around 5:15 p.m. for the 2:00 pm appointment the next day (26th). Around noon on the 26th, a man phoned and said he wasn't going to be able to make it because he was having battery problems with his vehicle. I was very upset because my daughter and her family (grandkids) had come that week for a visit and we had wanted to go out of town that day, but didn't due to this appointment. It was too late to do so by the time this man phoned and said he wasn't going to make it. During that phone conversation, we rescheduled for the coming Saturday, March 30th. He told me I would receive a confirmation phone call on Friday March 29th as well. He repeated the appointment and confirmation phone call several times during the conversation. On Friday March 29th, I was home all day. I received no confirmation phone calls from him on either my home phone or my cell phone. On Saturday, I again stayed home for the appointment even though I had not received the confirmation call on Friday. Again, I received no phone calls from him, nor did anyone show up for the scheduled appointment. I was quite serious about replacing my roof with metal shingles and if I couldn't afford them, with fiberglass/asphalt shingles which the man told me that they also do. After this kind of service, I would not contract with them due to lack of dependency. I phoned another roofing company who came out on Monday, April 1st and provided me with an estimate. I went ahead and contracted with him there on the spot.
