James from Mr. Appliance was prompt and personable. He went the extra step to drain the standing water from the broken dishwasher. He also gave tips for what to do if it stops emptying again in the future. Excellent customer service!

Exceeded expectations

I leased a home from Ty Weston and Elite Real Estate for three years. For the most part, the experience was positive, until I had to give notice that we would have to leave the premises 4 months early because we were surprised with an opportunity for a new home we just purchased. The process and sale went much quicker than we thought. As a tenant for three years, with impeccable pay history, I was shocked at how I was treated. I sent numerous replacement renters to Weston/Elite and they were told the rent was $150 more per month than what I was paying. Weston improperly and maliciously increased the rent. Then, in violation of Oklahoma law, tried to charge me a re-lease fee and keep my entire deposit. I had to threaten legal action (I am a lawyer) in order to get my deposit returned. If you want a professional agent and rental or sale experience, do not use Weston or Elite Real Estate. I provided a new renter even though Weston improperly increased the rent. I paid the difference for those renters to take over my old lease. Please be wary of doing business here. They are not very interested in following the law.

Elite has done an excellent job. Every rental property has issues from time to time, and Elite has a great team of contractors ready to take care of maintenance and repairs. Ty has done a great job of pricing the rent appropriately, and I've never had a home sit vacant for over a month. Prior to buying a particular property, Ty provides me with a range for which the property should rent, and I've based buying decisions on his range. Not once has he steered me wrong. Debby and the others on the team manage all the properties to such a degree that I rarely become involved with a property or tenant issue.

The realtor was pleasant and not too obtrusive. I really liked the house she was showing to me. She gave me an application to fill out and easily took an application fee of $50. About two weeks later I found a message on my answering machine saying matter-of-factly that the owners of the house had decided to rent the house out to another party. And that was it. In retrospect, I should have been able to tell by her body language that she had already decided upon another party. Of course, I completely lost my $50 application fee.

The owner of Elite (Ty Weston) came out and reviewed our property and discussed options. They listed the property, showed it, took contracts, checked out applicants - then on each application they told us their opinion and gave us the option to lease or wait for another applicant. We value their opinion on whether an applicant will be a good tenant or not, and they seem to handle any situation in a professional manner. Checks are deposited monthly into your account and you have the choice of whether to meet and deal with tenants or let Elite do everything. They do an excellent job.
