Dan was very professional. It was apparent that he knew his business. He was on time, communicated very well, and completed the job within time limits and budget. I am very satisfied with the job he did!

He was prompt to set up an appointment for our free estimate. He was very thorough and professional during the estimate process and gave us an accurate idea of amount of supplies, time, and money it would be. It was a multi-day job and each day he was prompt to arrive. The work done was flawless and we are very impressed! Clean up was great too!

Dan Dickerson did a great job for us. His estimate was reasonable. He came, did his work and cleaned up after he was finished. He also recommended material we could get to fix seams around several window. We decided to ask him to do it and he gave us a very reasonable price and did the job along with the first task. We are pleased with the work and will consider him our first call if we need future painting requirements.

He was very prompt about giving us the estimate and doing the work. It took 4 days, which is what he estimated it to take. Each night, he left the house clean. He would call if he had any questions or concerns, or he would leave a note for us. When I had questions about the type of paint or the color, he would give his professional opinion, but would also let me know that he was open to whatever we decided.

Daniel did an excellet job! Again! This was the second time he has removed wallpaper and painted for me. He has done a great job both times. He had to patch places on the ceilings as well, and you can't see any sign of the repair. He is very conscientious and his workmanship is impeccable. He does exactly what he says he will do and when he says he will. I could not be any happier with the experience. His prices are very reasonable and he is great to work with. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.

I got Dan's number off of Angie's list after reading all of the reviews. I initially planned to get a few quotes, but after meeting with him and reading all of the reviews on here, I just went with him. I immediately felt very comfortable with him and felt like he was an honest, good guy. They did a great job and were so fast! I had tried to get the wallpaper off myself and after hours and hours of very little progress I gave up. I was so glad that I did; they were able to get it all done so quickly and made the room look great too. I met Dan for a quote on Monday and since we were a small job, he was able to come out that Thursday. It would have taken two days, but his wife ended up having to go to the hospital on day two, so they came back and finished up Saturday morning. We will definitely use him again when we need help. We've referred some people to him, who needed someone to paint their daughter's house. We suggested him because he does an excellent job and we felt confident that the dad could feel completely comfortable with the house being painted with just college girls there. They ended up hiring him as well. fyi - He doesn't have a computer, so you have to call him to get in touch.

Mr Dickson was on time everyday and very polite. He did an excellent job and completed all the work in four days. For everything he did i feel the price was excellent. I would absolutely hire him again, in fact he is returning to do the exterior of our home.

It went very well. He did a fantastic job. I liked that he seemed to be a perfectionist and he was very clean. A+! I would use him again in the future.

After searching on Angie's List, we decided to go with Daniel. After calling him, he worked with my schedule, came out and gave a very reasonable estimate. Also told me when he would be done. It was a big job, all the ceilings and 3 rooms textured. He worked long hours and was prompt every day. He told me exactly what he was going to do and how much it would cost in materials. His estimate was spot on. He was personable, polite and respectful, and he WORKED HARD. Something we don't see enough of these days. I was skeptical at first that I could get such a good job for the price, but was very pleasantly surprised. I will definitely use Daniel again if I need work done and will tell all of my friends and family that I finally found someone who actually works and completes a good job for his pay. Thank you Angie's List, never used before but definitely worth it.

Went great. This is the second time I used Dickson Painting. I called, Dan came out and gave me an estimate. He did not think he would be able to get to the job for several weeks, but when he had a delay on another job, he called and ended up coming out two days after I accepted his contract. . As always, he is on time, polite, hard working, very tidy. I really appreciate that he comes in, and gets the job done efficiently. Will definitely be calling him again as I have some more painting needs.

I called Daniel on Tuesday, he came by to give me an estimate on Wednesday, began work on Thursday and finished on Friday. I was very glad he was willing to schedule it so quickly since it was a small job and easy to turndown or put off. The whole experience was seamless. It was great working with Daniel. He's very personable, and he did exactly what he said he would do. The work was extremely well done, of the highest quality. I couldn't be happier and am planning the next project for him to help accomplish.

Did research on Angie's list and reviews were very positive for Dan Dickson Painting. Dan came and gave me a quote I thought was very reasonable and fair. He was able to start within a couple of days. I had put the drywall up myself. I don't like doing the mudding or texturing so I had Dan tape, mud, then do the texturing for my master bedroom and bathroom. He was done in less than three days. It looked great and I was extremely happy with Dan's work. I will definitely use Dan again. His main focus is painting, but he did a great job for me.

After doing our master suite, we had Dan come back and do the remainder of the house. Removing old wallpaper, texturing and painting. He was always on time, did a great job and cleaned up at the end of the day. We were extremely pleased with the work he did and would certainly use him again.

Very prompt on arrival and called me each day to come and check on progress and placement of the furniture they moved in order to paint the ceilings. All furniture and floors were well covered so there was not cleanup after they left. I plan to use them again for my next project for the interior walls of the house.

In all of my Angie's List reviews, I like to go into lots of details, good and bad. For the most part, I am very pleased with the work Dickson's Painting did for me. It was a $2100 job, and I had an Angies List coupon that made it $2,000 even. We had almost every room in the interior of our 1700 square foot home repainted by Daniel and his assistant over the course of 4 days. The paint looks beautiful, and they did a good job of cutting in. They definitely know how to paint and have plenty of experience. Daniel is a very friendly, personable person, and I was very comfortable having him in my home for that long of time. They came in the first 3 days (mon-weds) at around 9am, sometimes earlier, sometimes later. The 4th day, Thursday, Daniel called explaining he had a tragedy in his family, and would be unable to come back to complete the job until Monday, so we had the whole house except for the master bedroom, uninhabitable for 5 days, until Tuesday when they came back to complete the job. I understood the delay, and luckily we don't have kids so we didn't necessarily need to be in those rooms. I am very impressed with the paint work on the walls, though they were pretty lacking in covering the things that needed to be protected from splatters. We had to scrape paint splatters off the tile, bathtub, bathroom sink, kitchen sink, and the biggest offender, my dining table. It obviously wasn't covered at all, for there was splatters of joint compound and white paint ALL over it. I know they were in a hurry to get the job wrapped up, but that should have been covered from day 1. Cleanup wasn't very satisfactory, either. Some items they removed from rooms were not put back like I was told they would be, and the blinds in the guest bathroom weren't put back up like they should have been. They were in a rush to get out of here, but some time should have been spent to go back and check each room and area before leaving. Something that didn't bother me, but could be an issue with someone else, was the language used. There were a lot of loud phone calls using some very colorful language. Like I said, it didn't bother me, but I can see how someone else may be very offended and offput by it. Like I mentioned at the beginning of my review, I like to go into detail about all aspects of my experiences. So, overall, I am pleased with the work Dickson's Painting did and would hire them again, they just need to be a little bit more aware of splatters and cleaning up after them, and taking a little more time cleaning up after the job. I would recommend them, despite the issues I had.

Made 2 different appointments in attempt to get an estimate. No call, no show the second time. Re-arranged family/work schedules in order to get estimate.

He was pretty good. There was a paint drip on the carpet. He could have done a little better job of cleanup around the windows but not terrible. Overall. The quality of the paint job on the walls was good.

Dan came out and gave us an estimate of the cost. He did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the final results and overall quality of his work. We have already scheduled him to do another job for us.

Mr. Dickson came to our house and gave an estimate of price and time. He also told us what kind of paint and caulk to buy. We had to go out of town on the prescheduled paint date. We called him and he rescheduled. He came on the rescheduled date. He caulked and painted our two story house in two days. He was very friendly. He explained what he was doing. He went to the trouble of covering our shingles on the edge of our house so that paint wouldn't get on them. I was hesitant about the paint gun that he used but there weren't any drips or paint on our bricks. He did an excellent job and we are very pleased. Especially since we didn't have to provide a ladder or climb the ladder to paint. We appreciate the great professional job that he did. We would use him again.
