we bought an incomplete house and asked them to come repair it after signing the papers ... but when we asked them to fix it again, nothing was said about the warranty ... a bad business with those who bought DR horton

The process was very smooth. They listened to me and paid very close attention to detail and made sure everything was done well. There were a couple of things that they had to come back to redo, because of the unusual process of changing the model home office into a garage, and they were very glad to do it. The sales person and the builder were very friendly and communicated well. Some people are reluctant to go with a company that builds so many homes, but because they have, they have worked out the kinks, and their process is very efficient, and the quality is excellent. The company has a different kind of slab foundation, called a post-tension foundation, that comes standard in their homes which works better with the highly expansive clay soil we have here. They also have Tyvek and radiant barriers as standard, which help prevent moisture problems and lower energy costs. I would highly recommend the D R Horton company!!
