Description of Work: We had used this company previously because of the reviews here. The first time the plumbers arrived on time, quoted approximate cost based on flat hourly rate. They knew exactly how to perform job and completed it in a very short time. We were very happy with the service. So of course we called them this time. BUT this time the plumber arrived with a young assistant. Looked at the water valve replacement that needed to be done and then proceeded to spend 45 minutes trying to decide how to make the repair. Seeing what was happening we called in to the office to confirm that this plumber indeed knew what he was doing and were assured that he did. Well 2 1/2 hours later he finally completed the repair that should have taken no more than 30 minutes. We were billed $280.00 dollars for 2 1/2 hours and were told he had deducted 30 minutes because he had such a problem with sweating the joints together. Sweating joints is a BASIC plumbing situation. We did pay the bill (the young assistant brought that in to us not the plumber). We called Buddy the owner who said he would talk to the plumber and get back to us. Well we have not heard back from him since. This was same day service but there was no indication that that would enter into the fees charged. We will NOT use this company again and would NOT recommend them.

Description of Work: i had a gas leak and the gas company turned my gas off. i called buddys and they came out within a few hours. They were polite and knowledgeable. they made me an estimate and thats what they charged me. after the inspector came they had to come bavk and update the vent pipe but that was extra work and not covered by my estimate. they have given me an estimate for a new sewer line and when i am ready i will call them again.
