BREWER CARPET ONE

Saleswoman gave us loads of information and upgraded the pad to the best they have. Installers were expert and neat. They had to move furniture which was difficult because it is an old small house. They completed the whole job of carpeting our living room and dining room in five hours.

Pleased with carpet and installation.

They came and took out the old tile and installed new tile. Overall they did a fairly good job, but had trouble getting the grout to set properly. When the job was finished the grout had some streaks in it, some of it had washed out and some of it was rough. The salesman was quick to come out, evaulate it and have it scheduled to be repaired. The installer came back and said the grout had settled and so he ran some new grout over the floor again to smooth it out. It looks much better but wonder if it would have been even better if it had been applied only once.The tile is a little uneven in a few places. Would not use them again for tile, although we use them for carpet the next day and there carpet install was excellent.

We had carpet installed in our entire house. The two guys that came were very fast and did a very, very good job of moving all the furniture, installing the carpet and moving everything back. They came about 8:15 and left about 5pm. Very fast and looks very good, no problems found. One guy was a little cranky toward the end of the day, but have been doing this a long time and were very good.

We were very impressed by salesperson Vanessa, who worked with us on selecting the right tile, grout and coming out to the house and measuring and insuring we had everything needed to make the job go well. She also followed up during and after the installation. The installation went well and carpet was removed, new tile put down and grout over a 4 day period. Where the tile met existing carpet they had a man come at the end and connect the tile properly to the carpet. Our only complaint was the grout, particularly in the laundry room, clouded over in places, but they sent a representative of the grout out to the house, and he gave suggestions to help clean the grout, which seemed to help.

We were satisfied with their services. They were very good. They were knowledgable about their products. It's hard to know for sure if their price was good, since we don't do carpeting very often. I think it was kind of high, but we got a real high quality carpet.

They did a very good job. Everything went fine.

It did not go well. They reschedule me a few times. Then they had the wrong grout and tile for one of the rooms. It was installed and I had to pay them more to take it out and install the correct tile in the hallway. The living room tile looked good at first but then after a few days the grout had this white flim on it and the grout was a black color. Called them many times, they keep saying they would fix it but then I would not hear from them and I would call back. I had a company come and clean my grout hoping that would help but it did not. Just more money out of my pocket. Months later they got back to me and had some one come fix it and it was a little better in spots but not all fixed. Also while they were fixing it they broke a few tiles and said they would replace it but new did.

Chose not to use this business.

The sales reps are great, however the installation crew did a poor job.My comments are as follows :- The initial appointment had to be changed at the last min. because the crew was still doing a previous job.- When the crew finally showed up (late) they were laughing about having to go back to the last job and clean up the mess they left.- Every day the crew arrived whenever they wanted which makes the customer have to wait on them.- It seemed as if there were different people every day, absolutely no consistency in the crew (s).- One of the workers was outside on his cellphone more than he was in the house working.- They dumped grout ( they broke 1 of my tiles) in the front yard as well as some type of excess liquids which I had to clean up and it killed-out part of my lawn.- The "bordering" of the new wood floors does not match, I was assured that problem would be resolved, it has not.- Cigarette butts everywhere in the front yard. As I stated , the sales reps were great, but if you want a professional installation job, look elsewhere. THIS IS AN UPDATE SINCE THE JOB OF 2011. I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE COMPANY TO REPLACE THE MIS-MATCHED WOOD "BORDERS" AS PROMISED ... LOOKS LIKE ONCE THEY GET PAID YOU NEVER HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN ... AND APPARENTLY THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT ANGIES LIST REVIEWS

We met our salesman, Paul Botello, at the Oklahoma City Home and Garden Show. He was very helpful with all of our questions and very knowlegeable about his products. We scheduled an appointment for him to come out to measure and he showed up right on time. The order was made and delivered when he said it would be and an installation appointment was made. A 3 person team called and arrived early on the appointed day. Johdan Mayen was the team leader and he was very professional. They started immediately tearing out the old tile. This is an EXTREMELY messy job. Lots of dust everywhere even though plastic sheets were put up to try and contain the dust. It still managed to get all over the house. The floor needed leveled a little in a few areas and that was taken care of before the wood laminate was laid. The job was completed in 2 days as scheduled and looks wonderful. There was one area that in the hall that had to be leveled again. We talked to Paul about it and it was scheduled and taken care of promptly. I think it would have been possible to keep more of the dust out of the house if they would have tried a little harder to do that. However, other than that we are very pleased with the whole process.

The people in the Edmond store all all very nice, very personable, and quite willing to assist you even if your persosnal salesman isn't present. However, they mismeasured carpet needed. We bought enough carpet to install another 9x11 bedroom and closet+, minimum. That's a lot of excess carpet/pad! Extra carpet and pad = $$$$. Took a long time to accomplish the entire transaction. Service and friendliness was great. Cost was much higher than we anticipated. Large selection. The guys who laid the carpet only so-so.

During the estimate, they misquoted the square footage of my house. They made negative remarks about their competitor with which I had a great experience.

I went to Brewer's store and asked to see a certain carpet (Bliss Stainmaster) which I understood was a good quality carpet. No other carpet was suggested to me except I asked to be show something else as well. The pleasant salesman came to measure on Monday the following week. He was punctural, measured two rooms, and jotted one total price for both rooms on the back of his business card. I th ink he also might have noted the pad price and carpet price by the sq ft. He thanked me and left. I was surprised not to receive a written detailed proposal/estimate. I then contacted three other companies all of whom gave me lengthy written proposals. Brewer had the highest price by about $150 over the nearest competitior. When I called and asked, they gave me footage over the phone which was about 40 sq ft more thansome of the other "guys." Brewer was not selected because being the highest "bidder" and the lack of detail for the proposed job. My thinking is - if you have to beg for service/info before the job is awarded, what will happen during and especially after the work is done. I notified them via e-mail that they were not selected due to the lack of a detailed estimate. I would be open to give them "another chance" in the future but would insist on receiving a written detailed estimate.

The salesman was incredibly nice, and I felt very comfortable with him being in my home. He measured twice to make sure the measurements were correct. However, for some reason he stopped working there, so I ended up with another salesman to finish the work. During that installation, there was confusion with how much carpet was needed, and we ended up having to give away some carpeting since we had too much, even though measurements were done twice. I’m satisfied with everything except I had to pay an extra $100 to put the backings on the scatter rugs underneath the doors so they wouldn't slide around. These backings still don't prevent the rugs to slide. I called this company with this concern, and they didn’t make any attempt to fix it. Overall, I'm satisfied with the installation and the sales, however, the service after paying isn't that great.

Two men came to our house (on time)to install the carpet. They work solely for Brewer Carpet One and guarantee their workmanship. They were very efficient and cleaned up after themselves as they went along.

Carpet One did an average job on the installation. The quality of the carpet is poor. I had a company clean the carpet and it was ruined after I just had it installed.

Brewer Carpet One was very good. They did not order enough carpeting, so they paid for the extra carpet themselves. I was very impressed with how they handled the situation.

Brewer Carpet One did a good job overall. They did have to come back to fix some uneven tiles. This took a while for them to come back.

The sales staff from Brewer Carpet One was very good in helping me pick out the carpet. The installers did not impress me. The install job was sloppy and they did the bathroom with scraps from the other rooms.

Brewer Carpet One never came when they said they would. They didn't show for appointments, and they didn't give a good price for the work. It was a disaster.
