I had hired Brad before to replace the metal mailbox inside of the brick. He did a great job, so I knew he was the one I wanted to hire again. The brick mailbox and two side planters needed to be rebuilt, and the concrete footing on either side on my brick walk way was crumbling and needed to be replaced, along with a few of the bricks. Brad had to find and purchase some extra brick that would match what I currently have. That in itself was time consuming and difficult to find a good match. He came through again for me! He is very professional, courteous, and dependable.

Brad was a pleasure to work with... or should I say he did an excellent job without any intervention on my part. He arrived on a Sunday to drop off the scaffolding. On Monday, he brought along some brick to show me that very well matched the 30-year old brick on my house. (Another mason told me it would be hard to find and I would have to find it myself.) He started the job on Monday and finished on Wednesday at noon. Brad and his assistant demonstrated a great work ethic. The chimney looked terrific from top to bottom. They even filled some missing mortar we did not discuss or include in the price. And regarding the price, I did receive higher estimates, but I cannot imagine that the quality and experience could get any better.

Initially when contacting Brad, I did not get a response, but when i called him again, he was very professional, apologized, and was easy to work with thereafter. He gave me a quick estimate after looking at the chimney work that needed to be done. Although I initially still thought the estimate was high, it was much lower than a second estimate I got. Once I was ready to proceed with work, Brad was able to do the work the following day. The work was done quickly and looks original. I would highly recommend Brad.

Excellent. He came by on the day I called and provided a temporary mailbox, and an estimate for an exact brick mail box replacement. We opted for a more detailed brick design without planter boxes and he promptly provided an estimate. Work was completed in one day the next week and the work area was throughly cleaned before he left. He aslo fixed a loose brick on the front of my house and a break in a flower bed border - all work professionally done.

I had told Brad that we were in a time squeeze to get this work done within three days of starting. The homeowner was living out of town come to town to oversee this work to be done and would have to leave on the coming weekend. Brad said he could get the work done in time and he did exactly what he told me. The work when he finished was top-notch. In addition he and his crew were very professional they started in the mornings they work till late evening and completed the work as agreed.

Brad and his partner did a good job of repairing mortar on my house and mailbox. Work took about 3-4 hours.

asked me to send pictures of what needed fixed to his cell phone, and never heard back from him again.

Didn't call me back.. I not sure I will be renewing my Angies list if this is the way your providers work.

I had two stones come loose over a window arch, and several pieces of slate on my patio that needed to be replaced. Brad came out (on time), and provided me with a timely & fair estimate. He went above and beyond to do an excellent repair job of both. It is nice to know that some people still care about the quality of their craft. Mark Galaway

Brad did an excellent job. Started the job on Monday 6/16 and finished the job on Thursday 6/19. Showed up when he said he would and asked for no money up front. Didn't get paid until the job was completed. We will definitely use him again if we ever need masonry work done.

Contacted Brad Hill Masonry through Angie's List on 6/9/2014 for Tuck/Point on my home. As of 10 days later, no response....... To be fair, this is a common phenomenon w/ Angie's List......

The mailbox was barely 4 days old when it got knocked over. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact the guy who built it I gave up on him and found Brad here on Angie's List. As it turned out, having the mailbox knocked over wasn't a such bad thing because Brad built an arched top that was much much nicer that the original. ....would definitely recommend him for your masonry project.

Brad and his crew were communicative, prompt, and courteous, but above all they did exemplary work on our home. Cleaned up after the job, were flexible in working with our schedule, and even asked for our input multiple times to ensure we were pleased with their performance. I'd recommend him highly to anyone.

We have a brick mailbox and the metal box inside was almost rusted out. I called another company and they told me they would have to take the brick off of the top to replace the metal box, and then the whole brick mailbox would be a lot shorter. I've seen a few of these in our neighborhood and they are so ugly. When I called Brad, he said he didn't need to take any of the brick off, that he could get the metal box out and put in a new one, then used some grout around the outside of it to seal it. It looks fantastic!

Left first message March12, 2014 that I needed some masonry repair. Did not get a call back. Called again March 14, 2014. Said he would be at my house March 20, 2014, probably after 5 PM. Said he would call and let me know exact time. Did not call. Did not show up. I called again, I believe March 21 and left message that I did not hear from him and would he let me know if he was too busy to work on my house. Have not heard from him as of March 24.

Brad gave me a competitive estimate to replace a damaged mailbox. He shopped around to find my exact brick and rock. The work was done beautifully and on time. I would highly recommend Brad for any small masonry job. We are going to have him back out to repair some brick on our house.

Excellent job. Brad is a skilled craftsman. We had our den fireplace refaced with natural stone. This room has vaulted ceilings approx 20 ft. high so it was not a small job. He placed each stone individually and did amazing work. It has become a real focal point of the room and we receive many compliments on it. So glad we found Brad through Angie's list. He took time to listen to us and offered several suggestions. He gave us direction on where to go to look at stone and explained each different type and what type of look we could achieve according to our choice. He was clean, showed up on time, and even stayed late the final day in order to finish the project for us in time for an upcoming family gathering.
