Just watch out, Butch Lee Baker, Jr aka Butch Baker, Jr is very smooth and you'll think that he is nice and knows what he's talking about but he's good cause he practices over and over again what to say to make it believable to anyone including himself but he's shady and you can't trust him. Beware!!
Description of Work: VERY IMPORTANT: Butch Lee Baker, Jr. has received a lot of negative comments on various websites and a lot of websites have taken him off because of the trouble he caused my husband and I and that he took us for $5,300.00. Keep in mind, his previous website was b&bhandymanservice.com and now the same handyman has a new website (and not a changed person by any means), http://a-1handymanservice.com. On his new website, he talks of "We aren't about sneaky cover ups we are about true perfection and happy customers." This is simply not the case. The only thing guaranteed by Butch Lee Baker Jr is that he will give you one lame excuse after another why your project cannot be done. It is also guaranteed that he will not tell you that he has a criminal record, which includes burglary, knowingly concealing stolen property, receiving/possessing/concealing stolen property, misrepresenting age by false documentation, false declaration of ownership, and compounding a crime (to confirm all you need to do is go to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections website and enter the following inmate number-172330-and surprise there's Butch). It is also guaranteed that Butch will try and get as much money out of you and will never provide you detailed receipts and then blame you for doubting or questioning him. It is also guaranteed that Butch will tell you about the award he won and that News Channel 4 supports him, but this is not true (check out In Your Corner on kfor.com-I feel bad for the poor lady who is put on the spot to defend this guy, clearly she did not know anything about this guy). Do not trust Butch, and if you see him run the other direction. I would give this guy less than 1-star, but the website won't allow it. He never did any of these projects - just got us for a lot of money, too bad we can't get it all back for no work and no services were ever received.

+ 1 moreHe stays until the job is done, no matter how late. He’s a perfectionist and works extremely hard. He never cuts corners and always does a fantastic job. He’s very meticulous and makes sure that everything is done to the specifications. He even refunded a portion of my money because he felt the job was taking too long, but stayed through to finish it anyway. He even painted my door at no additional charge because it didn’t match the tile he put down, so he wanted to make sure everything matched.
Description of Work: He re-tiled the entire kitchen floor, front bath, and master bath and closet. He also installed new base boarding that I had purchased, two toilets and dispensers, and also sprayed grout protector around every section of tile he put down.

+ -1 moreThe owner is a burglar and has several felonies to his record and is still on parole for burglary. I don't exactly want him in my home. The work was fine and the price was fine but he was dishonest. When someone comes into your home telling you how honest they are and how Christian they are you know you better run.
Description of Work: They were hired to repair a water filter system and an electrical issue in our home.
