Description of Work: John is fantastic at servicing sprinkler systems. He was recommended to me by my plumber last winter when I had a sudden break in the backflow preventer valve. It had frozen because my heat tape had quit working. I didn't know about this until the weather warmed a bit, and the pipe ruptured, causing massive amounts of water to discharge continuously into my yard and the street. John was out within 30 minutes of my call! I have used him for other sprinkler needs during this past year, and each time he has done great work. Some of the problems with my system have been a bit mystifying, and he has worked like a detective to determine the causes, and then he has fixed every problem perfectly. I have used several sprinkler companies over the years, and Aqualine is the only one I recommend.

Description of Work: I had a sprinkler system leak. It was basically an entire replacement of my (old) system due to failing valves, etc. He diagnosed the problem, showed it to me, and handled it in a very timely manner (same day and next day).

+ 0 moreThis guy is rude and a know-it-all! He left abruptly without finishing the work we had originally discussed. He promised to call the following week to schedule a date to complete the remaining work and never did. The work he did was very messy. He dug trenches from our existing sprinkler system to add pop-ups in our flowerbeds. All areas were he dug-up were left uncovered and I spent two hours cleaning up his freaking mess. Three of the pop-ups he installed he left sticking up out of the ground about 4 inches and it looks like crap. He's slow, very expensive, messy and rude. DO NOT USE THIS GUY!
Description of Work: Adding pop-up sprinkler heads to the back of our flower beds.

I have a very poorly installed irriation system (Aqualine did not install my system) and the sprinkler heads needed to be adjusted and others needed to be replaced due to damage caused by the mowing crew. John responded within a reasonable amount of time, was quick to assess the adjustments needed to my system and make those adjustment. He replaced various heads and raised other heads to extend the sprinkler spray over the landscaping. Overall I was very pleased with the services and felt the charges were very reasonable. John was very pleasant to deal with and was very professional while he was doing the work.. I would definitely recommend him and would use his services again.

+ -1 moreCalled aqualine to come out and repair the valve that was leaking. They came out that day. They dug the hole to access a larger work area around the valve box, which happened to be about three feet deep. Once it was dug up I got a call that said that it was an old valve and that they didn't work on them. I would have been happy to just have it replaced, but they suggested I call a plumber to work on it. They gave me a recommendation and I called them out for that day. When I met the plumber, he looked in the hole and said that it was a really old valve and that it just need to have the packing nut tighted , he turned it a few times and charged me $100 and left. Bottom line is - Aqualine charged me $77 to dig a hole. It would have been nice if they actually come back by and at least buried it as they had found it. I ended up shoveling the dirt back in.
Description of Work: Had a leaking main valve that supplies my lawn irrigation system.

Description of Work: I initially thought that my sprinkler system wasn't working. He came over and the problem was that it was not properly programmed. It is a complicated system and he spent well over an hour programming it for me. He then checked my sprinklers. For all that, I only paid $85.00. He was patient, he was knowledgeable and he stood out in the hot sun until we got it fixed. He is wonderful!

+ -1 moreJohn was prompt in responding to my phone query and quickly supplied me with an onsite estimate. Due to poor weather over a couple of weeks the work was delayed but the first weather-permitting day John (Aqualine) was prompt. The work went very quickly (much to my surprise) and was done expertly. Since the work went so quickly, my final price was less than expected. There was very little mess, again to my surprise because it was very wet and muddy. Excellent and professional work.
Description of Work: Replacement of sprinkler rotors and movement of several sprinkler rotors in old existing underground lawn sprinkler system.

+ -1 moreProfessional attitude and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire sprinkler repair process. Very knowledgeable and I would recommend his services to anyone. Aqualine Sprinkler only repairs/optimizes sprinklers...does not install new sprinkler systems.

He was excatly on time, walked around and looked at the problem areas, made several suggestions (some of which we adopted, some not), and got the work comeplted and was gone in 90 minutes. Outstanding experience. Would highly recommend him.

+ -1 moreNot so great. Appreciate the honesty, but not how long it took to hear back from him or the fact that the secretary didn't tell me about the surcharge.
Description of Work: They didn't perform any services. I called with a broken sprinkler pipe on Monday and the receptionist said that maybe they could fit me in on Wednesday. She said she'd call back later Monday and at the latest Tuesday first thing. I never did hear back so I eventually called back on Tuesday afternoon. She didn't seem to remember anything about my earlier call and had the main guy call me back. He eventually did and asked, "can't you get anyone in Norman to do this job?" I was taken aback since I had called him specifically because of the good reports his company got on this site. He said he was based in OKC (only about 15 minutes away) and that he would charge an extra $25 just to drive down and look at the problem and give me an estimate. He strongly recommended I call a different company. Given how little he wanted my business, I appreciate his honesty and being upfront with me. It was still frustrating though, especially since the secretary never mentioned the $25 charge and it took a day and a half to get that far.

+ -1 moreWhen we moved into our house over twenty years ago, the sprinkler system was already installed. We had no idea where the 4 underground valves were located. Several years ago, Mr. Beaty located the valve for one zone and repaired it. This time, the remaining 3 valves took hours to locate (whoever installed the system neglected to put 2 of the valves in boxes, which made them even harder to find underground.) Mr. Beaty spent hours in 90+ degree heat searching for the valves, then digging until he found them. Just the labor for the job was almost $300, but he earned every penny. Now, all four zones on our sprinkler system work great, and there's not one inch of the property that misses out on water. Mr. Beaty is really good at "tweaking" sprinkler heads so that water gets to the areas that need it. We spend a lot of money on plants and seeding our lawn each year so we have to have a sprinkler system that works properly. I can always count on Mr. Beaty's work, and he always shows up when he says he'll be here.
Description of Work: Had to search for the underground valves that control each zone of sprinkler system. After the valves were located, had to dig to access them. This took one afternoon and evening, and a few hours the following morning. After unearthing the valves, Mr. Beaty replaced 2 valves and created a "box" and cover so now they are easily accessed. Also added an extension to the cut-off valve so it won't get covered with dirt. Replaced several sprinkler heads and redirected others so that water is distributed better.

+ -1 moreAqualine Sprinkler & Repair was recommended by a friend and he came in and did a great job. He had actually under bid the job, but never charged anymore. He is so busy though, hard to get, I need more work, but he isn't able to come back till Nov.
