AMERICAN WASTE

Horrible company. I called this company to deliver a 10 yard dumpster to my house. They told me "No problem, it'll be there tomorrow afternoon." So taking them at their word, I waited and waited and waited. I finally called around 4:30 since the dumpster hadn't been delivered yet and no from the company had called on a progress update. They company said "Oh sorry, our truck broke down in Piedmont. It's going to be tomorrow before we can get it there." I completely understand things happen beyond our control, but where was the phone call to let me have the opportunity to have a different company deliver the dumpster? Then they told me, "You'll be the first delivery in the morning." Again, taking them at their word, I agreed. Big mistake. Once again, no dumpster by 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, When I called to check on them, they told me the delivery guy was at Remington Park. When I told them I was supposed to be the first delivery of the day because they failed to deliver it on the original date they tried to say they had been trying to call me all morning to verify the address. Not true. I had no missed calls, or messages from them... ever. Finally, at 1:15 to dumpster arrived. They were totally unappologetic about the situation they put in or that they caused my entire work crew to loss a day of pay at Christmas time because they needed the dumpster to begain the next project. I just hope the workers don't mind working on the weekend to make up for lost time from such an irresponsible company.

American Waste was very courteous when they came to pick up the dumpster. They emptied it every week or more, when I was remodeling. A fire started in the dumpster and I got a hold of them right away, and they came out.
