Electricians scare me just slightly less than the electricity itself. So when I found ceiling lights shorting out, I got worried. I found that some hot wires over a ceiling fan had come loose and the insulation cracked off, exposing the wires, causing my breakers to short out. I tried to fix it myself until the first shower of sparks rained down on my head. My wife and I found Alliance on Angieslist.org and gave them a call. Alliance could not have been any better. Justin and Chris were awesome. They answered all my questions and even told me how to do easy repairs myself (saving me $$$). Their prices were neat too. They were set by the job, not by labor hours. The job was the same price if it took 5 minutes or 5 days. I am putting my house up for sale soon, and alliance went all through my house looking inspecting things that a home inspector will probably look for later. I will absolutely be calling them back to fix some crappy work done by another electrician after an ice storm in 2007. Save yourself some time, make alliance electric your first call.

I looked at the reviews from Angie's List and chose this company from the ratings. I even printed out the 10% coupon and used it. I called Alliance and told them what was wrong. They told me they would be at my house within the hour and they were. Justin showed up and took a look at what was wrong. He then told me how much it was going to cost. I told him okay and he immediately went to work. He fixed the problem in probably around 20 minutes and the lights were on. He was very professional and knowledgeable about his job. I hated spending that much money but I am sure they were comparable if not cheaper than other places. The overall experience was great and I would defiantly use them again and recommend them to my friends.

The electrician arrived on time. He finished the work in half the time. The price was half of the estimate.

Very good! The Alliance truck with two electricians was at my house before I could make it home even though I left work early to meet them. I showed them my old stove and the location for the ceiling fan. I showed them the satellite dish and they told me it didn't have power to it (that is a good thing). I then got out of the way and let them work. I don't remember the names of the two gentlemen who came to work at my house but they were prompt, courteous and professional. One employee set about installing the new outlet for my stove. He was able to attach a new metal outlet box to the nearby stud easily. He quickly finished installing the receptacle and cover plate. He had a little difficulty with the screws for the cover plate but he worked it out quickly. The other employee took on the task of installing my new ceiling fan. I tried to stay out of his way but I did hand him the blades to the fan as he was finishing up the installation. He explained how to balance my ceiling fan. When I called about setting up the appointment to have this work done, I didn't get an exact quote. The price I paid was a little more than I thought it would be, but that was my fault for not asking exactly how much the work would cost when I called. I do believe the cost of the work was reasonable. This was a great experience for me and I will call Alliance Electric for any electrical work I may need in the future.

Two very friendly guys (Justin & Chris) came out (called first to come early). They took the coverings off the light switch, checked breaker box, and went into the attic. Figured it was going to get expensive, however, after about 15 minutes they told me they solved the problem. There was a hidden CFGI reset switch behind the bathroom door that had been needed to be reset. One push on the outlet and lights back. Felt stupid, but they didn't tease too badly. They billed me for the dispatch fee and a diagnosis fee. My wife wasn't too happy as she felt they should have only charged the dispatch fee since all they had to do was push a button. I told her that since they had to go to so much work (attach, checking lines) that they did actually work. So, $98 later, I now know there is a reset switch behind the bathroom door. Live and learn. I put C for the price only 'cause the chart says, "Fair." Which it was.

The electrician arrived, explained the flat rate pricing and did the work. ten minutes later. Everything was done.

They are very good. They tell you upfront what they need to do. They follow through. They are very friendly and extremely professional.

An appointment was made to provide an estimate and on the given date the representative arrived promptly. The gentleman was courteous and professional. However, on the day set up to have the work done, the workmen were a no-show. After phoning the company to inquire, I was told that it was the result of a "mix-up" in communication. Shortly after phoning, the same gentleman who had come earlier arrived. He apologized for the mix-up and said that the work would be done on the following day. The work was indeed completed, and from all indications was satisfactory. Because errors can and do occur in the best of companies, I would have no problem recommending these people to others and/or using them again myself. I would also mention that I received a slight reduction in the price of the work because of the earlier mix-up.

They were on-time, polite and very friendly. They did the work quickly and I was completely satisfied. I thought their price was reasonable.

I didn't really have any problems. Heiliger Electric Corp didn't seem very professional, but they got the job done, which is what's important. They were here when they said they would be, didn't take too long, and charged a fair price. I would recommend them to others.
