Everything went well. Alex was punctual and very professional. He did what he said he would when he said he would. When there was a problem he called immediately gave me the solutions and fulfilled every promise. He is very easy to work with for home projects. I would highly recommend him.

After being blown off by three companies I found Alex's Construction on Angie's List. I called and Alex made an appointment, kept the appointment and gave me a price. I wrote a check for half and his company did the work. They completed the job today. It looks good. Now I have a safe place to keep my husband's trailer.

Alex responded quickly to my request for an estimate. He spent time going over the design for the new driveway and the color options for the stamped concrete. He measured the area and he provided me with an estimate for the work before he left my house. His estimate was the most competitive of any of the bids I received for this work. Alex indicated he needed to obtain the permits from the city and then he would be able to schedule the actual work. He obtained the required permits and scheduled the city inspector to review the work. Alex and his crew arrived promptly on the day work was supposed to begin. Alex confirmed the spray painted outline of the circular driveway with me before starting the project. Part of my existing driveway was badly cracked because the dirt underneath had been washed out. I decided to replace three sections of it because it would look worse right next to the new circular driveway. Alex was able to measure and provide me with a very reasonable estimate on the spot and I moved forward with that work as well. Alex and his crew completed the work over the next several days. He confirmed the color choice for the faux brick border with me that best matched my house. He added a PVC pipe underneath the circular driveway and the main driveway in case I wanted to run electrical to a fountain or yard lighting. In addition, he increased the depth of the border of the concrete for the main driveway to avoid water running underneath and causing the same problem with the dirt subsiding. Alex's proactive suggestions made the final product that much better. Alex was onsite supervising and working with his crew much more than I expected - in particular he worked directly on the faux brick to get the coloring and design right. He responded promptly to texts if I had any questions about the progress, drying time, etc. Overall it was a very good experience. Alex is very professional, hands-on, creative and delivers a high quality product at a very reasonable price. I would hire him again.

I got Alex's name from Angies's list for a rental property that needed additional parking. We're from out of town so we appreciated the puntuality and professionalism. He was careful and neat, not always the case with concrete guys. The lot is pretty steep and required leveling and a curb, all done well.

Alex and his crew did a good job. Alex was pretty responsive and his crew was very punctual. The removed the old driveway in one day and pour concrete the following afternoon. They made minimal mess and cleaned up well. There is one or two slightly low spots in the new driveway where water pools but they are very small and minor. They did a great job sloping the sidewalk and adding extra concrete on the edges to prevent washout. They also added extra control joints to control cracking. They could have done a better job meeting the new concrete against the expansion joints but it was a minor fix that I was planning to take care of anyway. The only complaint I really have is I have several spots in my yard now where they positioned a wheel barrel full of water to wash wet concrete off tools. That water overflowed and now I have hard spots in the grass where some of the residual concrete setup in the soil. Overall, I feel like Alex and his crew did a very good job and I would hire them again.

From the first call I placed to Alex after selecting his company from Angie's List, he was always very responsive and professional. He came out the same day and provided a verbal estimate with two options-replace the entire driveway or resurface the driveway. After we decided to replace the driveway, he quickly provided a very detailed written project estimate. We decided to begin the project on 8/20/14. His crew arrived first thing on 8/20 and started the demolition process. Alex was onsite to supervise the demolition and the replacement of our driveway. His workers were always very conscientious about keeping the work site clean and free of hazards. We were kept informed throughout the entire process. The project was completed on time and we are very pleased with the final product. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone who is looking for a quality product at a reasonable price.

I couldn't have been more pleased. He did a wonderful job. I had a whole new driveway and sidewalk done. There was also another concrete slab poured around my home. He was professional, did the job and the issues were minimal.

Good guy. Came right out and scheduled job. The concrete Big Deal was a good price. We had $300.00 additional work but overall it was still a good price for what the guys did. It was REALLY HOT and they worked hard. I recommended Alex's Construction for all your concrete needs.

We've tried to get past the shoe print in our front patio, but it is obvious and they were not interested in repouring to correct their mistake. They had interest in bidding for the job of redoing our driveway, we didn't have the funds then for that project and will not be considering them for the job now.

I am not 100% satisfied with the color match between the resurfaced areas and the new areas. Other than that they were prompt. They were right. They did what they said they were going to do and as far as I know everything else but except for the color match situation may be there is a couple of areas . by his worker resurfaced it other than I was very with him. He was willing to meet me on a Saturday and stayed exactly within his estimates. He had to wait for weather and a holiday for her could not . closed on Memorial Day but other than everything he said he would do he did it in a friendly fashion. I understand the concrete people have to wait on for weather to be proper. I was very happy with him. He was always very prompt in returning phone calls and . with someone else that is really nice thing. Pricing I think pretty good. I think it was may be just a little bit high but I thought he did a good job and he did expediently so I am happy with it. We had priced with the couple of other people and it was similar. He was there when he said he would be except for weather issues or holidays and was very good about calling me and letting me know. He was very good about calling and keeping me aware of what was going on.

Alex is a true gentleman, a little soft spoken, but knowledgeable. Came right out for estimate. Started job when promised, and finished on schedule. Friendly, hardworking crew. Nice work, good cleanup, fair price. And it looks GOOD! Can't ask for more than that.

He came out and gave me an estimate, and it was by far the best estimate. My son in law happens to be in the construction related business and I talked to him about it, the only problem with Alex is that I couldn't get on to his schedule for six months. I couldn't get in that year. There was a timing issue. He did a really nice job. Looks good. I was impressed with the quality of the work. Overall it looked really nice. So there is just the timing issue. Everything we saw was very good. He seemed to know what he was doing, I felt confident. I have confidence.

Alex's crew demo'd and removed the old patio on Thursday, setup forms Friday morning and were pouring by noon and gone by 6pm that evening. Dirt/grass filled in around the edges and later when I rinsed off the new pad, no standing water anywhere and slopes were perfect for draining. Work area picked up and clean. Crew of 4 was helpful and professional with Alex keeping tabs on them several times over the two days. Excellent result and will be using them on a couple of more projects at other locations. Two thumbs way up!

It went excellently. Alex and his team were punctual, professional and neat. They did the job exactly as I wanted it. Alex gave me a price per sq foot over the phone so there were no surprises. They arrived ahead of time and completed the job ahead of time. I was very impressed and have already recommended Alex to my firends.

You will make a HUGE mistake if you contract with any other concrete vendor! I have employed Alex twice. I intend to use his services a third and fourth time (or any time I need concrete work). Quality, Quality, Quality! Value, Value, Value!!! Absolutely, the most professional and hard working crew I've ever engaged for construction services (and that's over 35 years). You hire any other concrete construction provider at your own risk. Call Alex Construction!

The crew removed some splitting concrete and the roots underneath that were causing the movement. Alex was professional and the work was done on schedule. The forms set for the concrete pour were a little sloppy. I have a curved drive. Not a huge deal but definitely over the threshold of being reasonably off. Also Alex said he would come back to bring in some dirt to fill the gap where the forms were. I waited a few days before filling in the area myself. It's really nice to have the concrete fixed, but I recommend overseeing the project after the forms set if you have a curved drive.

After an initial misunderstanding regarding the area of concrete we wanted removed and replaced, Alex did a great job. We had estimates for this work at $200-$400 higher, so this was a great deal for us. The job was completed while we were out of town and Alex sent pictures of the finished work which was great. They came when they said they would and did a good job. We will definitely be calling again if we need more work done.

After several tries (3)I got a response from Alex, he came to my house and we discussed the scope of my projects. Alex was on time for our appointment; I have two separate projects to complete we discussed the smaller one first(250 - 300)sf of colored and stamped concrete. I told him I had received one estimate that I considered unreasonably high , the second is a 6" pad for a metal building 1200sf. We discussed some different potential issues and he said he would work up the numbers and send me an estimate. According to the information on Angie's list Alex works in all of Oklahoma county of which I live. The day after our meeting I received an e-mail that Alex has too much work and does not do work this far out.

Showed up when promised and cleaned up when through.

Asked Alex to make some changes - he also made very nice recommendations (no additional cost) and it turned out beautiful. Thank you Alex! You are going to be contacted again - we are moving soon!!!
