Description of Work: They did a great job. Everything was done as promised and on time.

Description of Work: Alex Construction replaced approximately 1000 sq. ft. of my driveway. Their price was reasonable and competitive. The work was performed as scheduled and on time. The job was acceptable, average to above average. The only reason I did give them an A was the job was not perfect. Their were a couple of cosmetic flaws (probably only noticeable to me) and the clean up could have been better, but overall I was satisfied with the job and I would hire them again.

Description of Work: They were reasonable and timely. They came when they said and finished when they said. The only concern I had was the contract said they would have mesh reinforcement. I didn't see this done.

Description of Work: Poured a turned-down slab for a shop building. The floor is uneven, varying from flat by up to 1/8 inch over four feet in several places.

Description of Work: Alex and his crew were professional and efficient. He replaced our driveway and a portion of concrete that had been cracked by a tree root. It has only been one week, but the drive looks good and we are pleased.

Description of Work: I had the sidewalk from my drive way to me front door replaced. The job was completed on Thursday 06/15/15. The only problem we had was during the removal of the old side walk the water line to my flower bed sprinkler system was cut. I did not realize that the line had been cut until I turned on my sprinkler system several days after the job had been complete. (Monday 06/22/15) I called Alex on Tuesday 06/23/15 and he sent someone out the same day. After an assessment was made, we arranged for his crew to come out on Friday 06/26/15 to make repairs. A portion of the walk way had to be removed, the line repaired and the section replaced. All of this was done in a timely manner with no hassles, no cost to me, and professionalism. I do think that some one should have seen that the water line was cut before the concrete was poured the first time, however he did correct the problem with no hassles. I would recommend him and use him again.

Description of Work: We had a narrow stamped concrete sidewalk poured around our house. We believe it went fairly well. It looks good, but could be better. Although minor, it was supposed to be 2 feet wide except for the ends where it flares out. It varies from less than two feet to almost 3 in one place due to a form error. The error was caught before the pouring by someone on the crew but not corrected enough. I contacted Alex to discuss corrections after the forms were built and prior to pouring, but due to communication confusion they poured before I could discuss the corrections I would like to have fixed. One thing I did not anticipate was the dirt and rocks that were dug out were spread all over in various places instead of piled next to the forms as I would have expected. I have spent tens of hours shoveling and sifting to get rid of the rocks. This was not discussed so I guess I say this to let everyone know to think about all aspects and communicate exactly what you need. The last item is the excess concrete around the forms was not removed. We spent some time cleaning the excess pieces that had gone over or under the forms.

Description of Work: I love this company. They do great work and are very up front about cost and what to expect. They put in a patio for me and did a great job.
