There were also chunks of concrete that had been spilled in the front yard that I had to clean and a broken fence picket. But the price was good and the patio is functional so I am happy and that's why overall I gave them an "A"

Description of Work: Repaired a raised section of my driveway caused by pressure from tree roots. The quality of the work and timeliness were great. There were some issues related to payment. I planned to pay using paypal, and when the worker came out, he didn't speak any English, and didn't know what Paypal was, so I ended up having to write a check.

Description of Work: Break up existing failing concrete and replace patio, as well as add a sidewalk leading from gate to driveway. Alex arrived timely to provide initial estimate. After interviewing 3 different contractors we went with him. His prices were very reasonable and the work was done well. All of his crew were respectful and courteous. Our job took longer than they had originally intended due to circumstances beyond either of our control. None the less, everything was done to our expecttions. Our property was cleaned up and left just as they had found it except that we were left with a beautiful new patio! We would recommend Alex and his crew hightly. I think it is also relevant to add that we had a mix up with a garden hose that was left behind when our project was completed. We insisted that Alex's crew take it because it did not belong to us. A few days later we learned that it had actually belonged to our next door neighbor. As soon as we contacted Alex he made arrangements to return it. The next day it was on our front porch as promised. Thank you Alex, for everything.

Description of Work: I contacted Alex after seeing his favorable reviews on Angie's List. We were putting a new sidewalk and a small patio in my daughter's garden home. Alex was responsive and professional. In addition, both he and his crew were always on time and courteous. The quality of their finished product exceeded my expectations and their cleanup was impeccable. I would not hesitate to contact Alex again for any project in his scope of work.

Description of Work: We had about 2500 sq feet of concrete poured. Around the house and drive way.we removed the old drive way and patio ourself.alex did a great job and is very reliable and does what he says he's going to do. We made some small changes on the fly and he adjusted with no problems or complaints.
